My husband was seen today and they never called in the prescriptions into the pharmacy even though an Irene who answered the phone said the NP would call in prescriptions before they left for the day. The unlicensed kid they have getting experience taking vitals and filling out the chart with "what are you here for" questions came up with what my diagnosis should be. The assistant (not doctor) came in and believed everything that was written in the chart even though I kept saying that's not what I'm here for and those are not my symptoms. The assistant then said she wanted to run all of these tests on me because of some results I got over 2 yrs ago. I said I've been back since then, that's not what I'm here for. If it was something concerning, it would have been addressed by now, right? I was trying to leave and pay what I was told I owed for the visit. The ladies in the front were laughing amongst themselves and kept telling me to wait. I left after 30 min of waiting there. I came back to pay what I was told I owed and the ladies said they didn't know what I owed and that I was tested for things I specifically said I didn't want to be tested for because I had just had them done elsewhere. Why would I pay for unnecessary tests? I was told I would get a bill in a few months. I don't think it's professional to have your blood taken from you and have stuff done to it without your consent. I don't think it's professional to be told to wait while you are too busy chatting. I don't think it's professional to lie on the patient charts nor ignore the patient in front of you. My body is mine. You don't have the right to do with it what you want, much less expect me to pay for it. So no, stop calling. I will not be coming back for a follow up appointment and when you actually figure out what I owe, call me. I guess I have no choice but to pay for the unnecessary tests as well, right? Great place to visit when you're already at your lowest. No, I didn't get help with what I had originally come in for. I had to deal with that on my own at home without a health professional to guide me. I would have been better off just staying at home instead of coming here for all the good it did me. Very good doctor, explains everything, not in a hurry like all the doctors, highly recommend him

I am a nurse & have been coming to Dr. Salinas for over 10 years. I am very satisfied with his care & knowledge. He is a good Dr. I have not had any problems with his current staff.

Very poor service. Very unreliable. Does not keep his word. Patient welfare is down the list of priorities here.

Took my parents to one of their visits. Never again will I take them back. They were there for specific reasons and none of which got accomplished. Especially not their refills which they always have trouble getting. My sister even called later to try to get them and the doctor coughs an attitude about it that he doesn't know what refills they need even though we stated it during the visit and it is written in their chart. He wanted her to request it thru the pharmacy so he knows which refill. So more time waiting for a very important prescription when they were just there. Then I got into an argument with their rude MA who obviously didn't know how to properly draw blood. She was fishing for my mom's vein and my mom kept saying it hurt so I politely asked her not to dig for the vein. She starts coughing me an attitude. Top it off I never saw her wash her hands and she was touching the cleaned area with her ungloved hand with fake nails and nail polish. What was sad was she was showing 2 students this very poor technique. Their front desk even had poor customer service. I have worked as an medical assistant for many years so I know how it works in the medical field. No excuse for this patient care. Took my parents to one of their visits. Conversation with doctor went well. Unhappy with the way front desk handled my case. No explanation and just looking find ways to charge extra. I had to ask myself for what I was been charge for.
