Absolutely the worst experience I ever ever had with an oncologist today. My oncologist left the practice so I unfortunately was changed to this woman. She spent 4 min with me, however within those 4 min she was able to insult me & made me feel like I did something wrong because I had switched doctors a few times. She was very passive aggressive. She never said hello, nice to meet you nor a goodbye. I heard she is retiring in a year…maybe she should think about retiring asap. The negative reviews I just read about her are so true. I hate to write this publicly however after the horrible experience today and the unbelievable rude comments she said to me, I couldn’t help myself but to warn others looking for an oncologist to actually help them during the worst time of their lives. I have been going to Dr Rigden for four and half years. She is an amazing Dr that takes the time to listen to your concerns and explain things to where you can understand.

I, also, wouldn’t send my worst enemy to her. She has been nothing but short & rude to me…& never wanted to listen to any of my concerns or really explain anything to me. Then when I was having so much pain from the type of chemo I was getting & my chemo nurse tried talking to her about giving me something for the pain she refused to let me have my chemo treatment. She completely stopped treating me & wouldn’t even come talk to me! I am a 40 year old mother with 2 little kids & have been left without an oncologist or treatment for my cancer! That is beyond unprofessional in my opinion….especially when I have been a completely compliant patient that never argued with her or always did what I was told to. The only thing that happened was my chemo nurse trying to talk to her & advocate for me. Please, do not waste your precious time going to her! I, also, wouldn’t send my worst enemy to her. I have been seeing Dr. Rigden for chronic anemia for several years. She is always very thorough and answers any questions I might have. Most of all she listens and together we a have come up with a treatment and maintenance plan that works!

Dr Rigden saved my life back in 2006. She was a professional from the start. This has allowed me to watch our 2 youngest granddaughters grow up. I will be 70 in a little over a month. Didn’t think I would make it to that one.

Very good and took time to answer my questions and concerns.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this woman. Horrible bedside manner, never explained the severity of the cancer my fiance had, overdosed him on oral chemo, and after it fried him internally she sent him to a rehab/nursing home to die. Thankfully I got him to KU in time to save his life.

Cared so deeply for my dad during the entire course of his disease. She was always a phone call away and answered all my questions. She is a brilliant oncologist.

When my mother had cancer she wouldn't return phone calls or do anything to help with her pain and symptoms while she was suffering. By the time we finally switched to another doctor he said it was too late to do anything. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Rigden to anyone she has no bedside manners either. I am a nurse myself and I am a cancer survivor but I have never seen such poor treatment from a provider.
