I am paying $1000s to a better dentist to fix everything that was neglected by this practice. Note that I never missed a cleaning/exam every 6 months for 20 years. I assumed any issues would have been identified, not so. So disappointed. I should have left years ago.

I have to admit, I had strong reservations about keeping my cleaning appointment during a pandemic. It is really tough getting your teeth cleaned with a face mask on. But, from the moment that I received a text confirming my appointment I began to relax my apprehension. In it were explicit instructions to take during my visit starting with me calling before entering the facility to insure that the staff was ready for me. Upon entering I was greeted by my dental hygienist and having my temperature read. Once in the chair I received the same careful attention that I always get, while my dental hygienist was well protected from head to toe wearing a face shield, face mask and complete body PPE. I truly felt safe during the process. That feeling continued when Dr. Woodruff walked in for his exam fully protected and on my way out the door. For over two decades I have felt comfortable with the care from the Baxter Dental team. Now, more than ever, I continue that trust during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There was no waiting! As soon as I arrived, they brought my paperwork to me. As soon as that was completed I was in exam room and services started. Very efficient! Noticed that all equipment and furniture was wiped down after every use.

I am a new patient at Baxter Dental, and today was my first visit. They provided good service, a nice & professional staff, and I like Dr. Adam - very knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth. Only issue was that cost for services is somewhat higher than anticipated, and they did not accept our insurance discount card. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.

I have been going to Dr. Woodruff for over 30 years. I have had not one negative experience with this practice. I have 4 kids, and with that comes much needed work through the years. They are never afraid, nor do they feel any discomfort when they are getting work done. It's unbelievable!! I wish I had that same experience growing up. They have no idea of how good they have it! I called them on a Saturday morning to see if I could get in to see a dentist as I have a very sore tooth. The person I talked to was very friendly and was able to get me in the same day. On arrival I was greeted at the front desk by a very friendly and helpful young lady who put me at ease as I have not been there before. The techs who prepared me were also very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember all their names. The dentist, I believe his name was Dr. James Woodruff, was also very friendly. He explained what needed to be done which made me feel very confident that I came to the right place. I will return!

I had an urgent need to have a very loose tooth extracted. From start to finish I was treated graciously and professionally by all staff. I recently had a root canal. They made sure there was no pain involved. They were meticulously thorough making sure it would not get infected. They explained everything they were doing at the time. They also explained my various options for future treatments. I also felt very safe in this new social distancing, ani-viral world. They took every pecaution.

They are there when you need them. I was so relieved when I called (despite closures) that they had provided information and emergency numbers via recording if assistance was needed. No Problems, but it is the second time the temporary Crown has come off. I would have preferred to have Nitrous. Her response is usually I don't need it before she hurts my gum.

At the beginning of 2019 my employer changed our dental insurance provider and Dr. Woodruff was not in the network, so I decided to change to a different dentist office, after going to Baxter Dental Group for about 15 year, as to avoid dealing with making the claims to the insurance company on my own. After one cleaning and a couple fillings with the new office, I realized that I made a big mistake changing dentist. The new dentist office had gave me a quote on the price for the work I had done and when it was all said and done they charged me close to $600 more than what they had quoted and hadn't provided any extra services. The new dentist office also made me feel like they were only in the business to make a buck. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesperson. Needless to say, I changed back to Baxter Dental Group and Dr. Woodruff and figured I was better off dealing with the insurance company about my claims than going to a dentist that ripped me off and didn't make me feel comfortable. This morning I had me first cleaning back with Baxter Dental Group and while sitting in the chair I thought to myself, "that was stupid of me to change dentists in the first place." I had as great of an experience as anyone would want when going to the dentist. To top it off, the office told me they would submit the claim to my insurance company, even though they weren't in my network. Thank you, Baxter Dental Group!

I was having pain on the underside of my tongue. Didn't have an appointment, they were nice enough to look. I was told it was just a sore, if it didn't go away within 2 weeks to come back and get it checked out.
