Very unprofessional and treats people based on age. Treats younger people as "drug seekers" and doesn't provide ANY help to them. Paint comes in all shapes, colors, and ages. Unless you meet his jaded criteria, you will receive NO help or assistance. *EDIT* Have you or your office never heard of "word of mouth"? Dr. Wolf has a big problem with medical marijuana, I have caught him up in so many lies - he just kept me coming back with promises of help, do not trust him- he is a bad egg in the mix - I have HS and CLL he told me that he would half to be the one treating me for my conditions in-order for him to help me with pain, there is no way he would be able to treat my HS - LIES all LIES. It's sad that we have doctors like you, you have seen my condition the first visit - you even asked me if I could pass your piss test - the only thing we was waiting on was this MM program to get started then you totally loved telling me you was not going to help me - you are being reported, everyone is going to know what you did to me. Don't waste your time. Office staff is very surly and doctor unprofessional. Commented several times that my 80 year old mother should try margaritas to manage her pain. What??? We won't be going back.

I would leave zero stars if that was an option! The receptionists are extremely rude and not helpful at all. I ( and Akron Children's Pain Center) have been trying to get a referral sent to them for over a month and they want to be no help in the process. Finally fed up and going to get my daughter to a Dr that wants our business!

PLEASE READ ALL OF MY COMMENTS! My wife has cancer for which she is treated in Mansfield. My current doc is in Marion, Very inconvenient for appt schedules. I asked for a recommendation for Dr Wolfe. I have had 9 back surgeries. Have been under pain management for 18 years. Dr Wolfe's reply was that he could not prescribe any medications for 12 to 18 months. Seems he has forgotten his oath or is too afraid of current legal environment to actually be a physician. If you really need pain treatment, go elsewhere. Why waste time with someone who is more afraid of legal entanglement than he is with actually treating a patient in pain. I see you read these reviews. Do you want to backtrack on your comments about doctor shopping? Maybe think about waiting until you actually review a patient's medical history before you comment. I notice you are affiliated with Ohio Health with which I hold in much regard. They have been wonderful up to now. An official complaint will be filed as to your actions and comments. Since you have responded with such an eloquent reply, I must correct you. I have quoted your representative. I must apoligize to her for my reaction, but she most definately quoted you sir. You are no better than the regulatory idiots that are treating pain as a non condition. Physicians treat patients. They do not make blanket statements without first seeing the patient, reviewing their records and making informed intelligent decisions about their care. Dr. Wolfe registered and was accepted to be on the list of doctors who could legally prescribe medical marijuana cards. I called this afternoon to set up an appointment and I was told that I needed a referral from another doctor. According to his website it says that you do not necessarily need a referral but the receptionist insisted that I did. If my doctor thought that medical marijuana was a good source of medication he probably would have registered himself but he did not and without even asking him for a referral I know that he would not agree. If dr. Wolfe wants to cash in on the amount of people that will want to see him he better inform his receptionist to read the rules otherwise he's going to be losing out big-time because people will go somewhere else. Dr Wolfe is awesome Dr I have been with him for 8 years he is a very nice guy

Dr. Wolfe has always been kind and listened to my many medical issues. He respects my wishes to stay on non-narcotic medications.

Very intelligent and knowledgeable. He respects you as a patient and takes your pain seriously. If your quality of life is important to you I would recommend him as a doctor.

Have seen Dr. Wolfe on and off for many years. He has always been caring and personable. He knows what he's doing and will give AND get you the care you need. He's not one of those "pill pushers" that some look for. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I seen Dr. Wolfe a couple years ago. I actually find him to be very pleasant and easy to talk to. He listens to me talk. Other Drs did not. Im hoping to get back in sometime this week due to more surgeries on my neck. Cervical neck 5 surgeries now. The pain is so intense I can't get hardly any relief. I Praying he can help me. Unprofessional and immature. "Dr." Wolfe thinks its ok to make negative comments about other doctors to his patients. He also thinks he needs to give a rebuttal to negative reviews of himself. Immature.

Do yourself a favor and Do not go to him. He does not have any empathy or caring about your pain or you, only interested in getting you in and out. I could go on but will keep it short, don't go to him!

Office staff is extremely rude which is sad because Dr. Wolfe is great. I won't go back because of the staff.

Just started coming here. Office is clean and well kept. The nurses are nice But who ever answered the phone is just rude and seems like she hates her job. He listens he's kind and caring about your pain. I'm sure he could help me more if I would just be honest with him and tell him just how much pain I'm in but I don't want to sound like all these other drug addicts I just don't want to be in pain anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wolfe for nearly 6yrs. He has always gone above and beyond to help me anyway he could, he listens to what I have to say and genuinely cares about what I need. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pain specialist. - Tracey Book

I have been going to Dr Wolfe for about 10 years. First trying to get a handle on pain and trying to prolong surgery, the after surgery trying to again prolong my next round of surgery. He is very caring, and is very good at what he does. He has always taken the time to explain what course of action was needed, and then when he believes it is time to stop putting off the inevitable. Recommend him to anyone who has spent so much time dealing with pain, and wants to resume life again!

A waste of time 10 years of doctors telling me my back is broke and his comment was try to lay down more

I wouldn`t recommend this guy for nothing!! Trys to fix everything with epilepsy medication!!!! What a joke and don`t waste your time.

Without Dr. Wolfe I would not be able to carry on every day chores or play with my grandchildren or have any kind of a productive life. He is a very kind and caring person and his office reflects him as well. If you need a pain specialist I recommend Dr. Wolfe you won't be disappointed and you will have the life and health you deserve. Shirl McCauley

He didn't take time to diagnos me. He never touched me. I have been in pin for years. He doesn't seem to want to take time to help you in any way. I also heard he told someone I just wanted drugs and no other treatment. Wrong - he gave me 2 injections my second visit and must not have remembered when I asked him in December 2015 about the spinal cord surgery.

My experience was terrible. He did absolutely nothing for me. He never physically examined me. Never laid one finger on me. He is to much in a hurry and doesn't take his time with his patients. I'm very disappointed. I've been miserable for months. So much for his motto. It's bologna.
