Dr. Tytko is an excellent diagnostician. Everyone in the family has gone to him for one sports med related issue or another. After an ER doc and another doctor misdiagnosed me as having a torn rotator cuff, he properly diagnosed a ruptured disc in my neck causing shoulder/arm pain and sent me to the right specialist to take care of it. Be aware he seems to always have a resident and/or fellow in training with him, so your appointment, while typically starting on time, will take a bit longer

I saw Dr Tytko for a running relate injury at Kettering Sports Medicine. After an XRay of my achilles Dr Tytko came into the room and said, "You and Larry Bird have something in common?" Dr Tytko suggested I had a Hanglunds deformity, and should think about doing a different sport. He also suggested I would need surgery if I continued to run. I got a second opinion with an ankle specialist in Columbus. No surgery, PT and I am back to running 7 miles. He may be a good family Dr but not sports med

My children and I have been going to Dr. Tytko for over 30 years. He's always been knowledgeable and professional, and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Tytko is a very accomplished, highly qualified Dr. He provides very efficient visits, spot on diagnosis, and answers all questions. Highly recommended!!
