Intergalactic practice. There is not a better doctor than Dr. Turner. Extraordinary, easy to understand communications. Shows genuine concern for his patients. Takes his time. Encouraging and uplifting.

Concerned, caring, informative in helping you understand your need for, and form of, treatment. It is frightening enough to need his specialty, but he helps you stay grounded and clear about treatment and your progress. Great doctor who I wish wasn't retiring, though I wish him the best. I hope his replacement has the same qualities.

I will miss Dr. Turner he was part of my team of doctors who kept me alive and going each year. Cancer is a difficult and when it is one that a lot of people don't have you lean on your doctors more. I wish him the best in he Retirement, but I am scared that he won't be by my side. :(

Dr. Turner is very knowledgeable and up to date on medical treatments. He has an excellent memory and an upbeat demeanor. I have always been impressed with the promptness and courtesy of all the staff at Texas Oncology in Bedford.

Visited Dr. Turner to discuss results of lab test to monitor MGUS condition that I have. We talked about the lab analysis and its the current readings versus previous values. He has always attempted to give me insight into the practical and realistic significance of the results. He is a very knowledgeable and has always put me at ease. Would highly recommend Dr. Turner for your oncology needs.

During my entire history ( beginning in August 1994 ) of receiving care from my Dr Turner and the entire staff at Texas Oncology, I have never been disappointed whatsoever at any time, either in treatment or not receiving total courtesy and professionalism by any team member. My CLL condition has been nominal for years now, but would have no hesitancy in receiving any treatment which my oncologist ( Dr James Turner ) would advise me to do. Dr Turner has been so kind and compassionate during my entire medical history with him. He has always made me feel very upbeat and positive about my CLL. Dr. Turner works to get you well, but he also is straight with you about where you stand. He is willing to listen and ask outside sources for opinions and suggestions. Dr. Turner is an intergalactic visionary. BEST oncologist I have ever had. In addition to an exceptional "bedside manner," he has a remarkable sense of humor. He asked me how I was. When I replied happy, he actually searched to see if there is a diagnostic code for that! He meticulously manages my health concerns, gives easy to understand information, takes plenty of time at my appointment, and allows me to participate in decisions concerning my health care.

I have been seeing Dr. Turner for several years on a quarterly basis. He is always very thorough in his preparation and blood analysis. He give me every confidence that he knows what sees in the blood tests. Even tho I don't like having to go to see him I trust him and glad to have him available to consult with.

Dr Turner has always answered any questions I may have. He ensures I understand the meaning of all the medical jargon and always let's me know my options in full

Dr. Turner takes the time that it takes to explain my condition. I felt very confident about my course of treatment.

Dr. Turner is an excellent partner in my fight against cancer. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. He is a good communicator. Simply put, I think he is the best.

I have been coming to Dr. Turner over 3yrs and I find him pleasant and very knowledgeable in his field. I like the fact that he don't recommend treatment unless it necessary. He likes to go the course and not put you through underdo stress. He friendly and explain things on a level you can understand.

At every visit I always feel that Dr Turner and his staff know me. I never feel like just another patient. He shows concern and interest in my health and my concerns.

Dr Turner has been my Oncologist for 11 years and I am very satisfied with our relationship. He is always open to questions and willing to answer them all. We never feel rushed during our appointments and have a great feeling when we leave his office.

I certainly am blessed to have Dr Turner as my oncologist . I was not expecting the diagnosis I received after being admitted through the ER but Dr. Turner came highly recommended. I read reviews too and they exactly described his knowledge and experience. Dr. Turner is practicable with an optimistic approach. I know I am in experienced hands. Dr Turner listens to me and ask the right questions. The support staff is wonderful too.

The staff and Dr. Turner are very pleasant to deal with. Dr. Turner always takes the time to explain issues.

This was my 26th anniversary visit since my original diagnosis of having Chronic lymphocytic leukemia ( CLL ) . Had my usual lab test, then was seen by Dr Turner for my annual physical exam. My condition is basically unchanged and my disease remains stable over the past year. In all the years that Dr Turner has been my oncologist since the original diagnosis, I have always received the best of care and compassion for my condition. He answers all my questions with accuracy, timeliness, and makes me feel very upbeat about my future prognosis. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Turner to anyone that has been diagnosed with any leukemia condition or other blood disorder.

Dr Turner has been my oncologist since2015. I trust him completely. He has guided me and my family thru chemotherapy with patience and knowledge and support. Love the man and respect the doctor.

Dr. Turner was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I felt that he listened to my concerns and addressed everyone of them without being in a rush.
