I’ve been seeing Dr. Thompson for 3 years and I find him to be the ideal mixture of professional and caring. He’s supported me through many rough periods and I’m grateful for his presence in my life. I actually look forward to our appointments and am selfishly hoping he doesn’t choose to retire anytime soon.
I made an appointment for my son WEEKS ago. We took off from work, took him out of school, only to show up to a locked office door. I knocked, and a very surprised looking lady comes to the door and says the Doctor is out of town for the week, and my appointment was supposed to be tomorrow. It’s funny because her and I had SPECIFICALLY discussed and appointment on Halloween. AND, if the doctor is out of town for the week, why would my appointment be tomorrow? extremely unprofessional.
Dr. Thompson was very professional in his behavior, but also managed to convey his genuine concern for his patients' wellfare. He was very clear with his communication and appeared to be a seasoned therapist.
