I waited way too long to get surgery on my right shoulder. My pain level was very high and it was constant! After consultation And prayer I decided on The total reverse shoulder.It's 6 months later and I couldn't be more happy. The entire experience wS amazing. The pain is gone and I can do everything again! Thank you and may God bless you

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. O'Leary today and would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone with orthopedic problems. He was kind, caring and efficient in his assessment of the issues and possible solutions. Highest recommendation.

Doctor O’Leary performed a rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder and I have had several office visits prior to and following the surgery. He has been great and I feel he is an excellent doctor. However, my last visit on 3/24/23 was frustrating because of such a long wait to see him. Although I had an appointment I waited for approximately one hour before being called in order to be put into a another waiting room and wait almost another half hour before he came in. I’m sure that is not a fault of his own but it is a problem in the scheduling.

Dr. O'Leary is a wonderful doctor. Always feel better coming out of his office than I did going in. Replaced my knee and did great job. Also knows how to give shots for shoulders and hips to make you feel better.

I have been a patient of Dr. James O’Leary for years. He is an excellent surgeon. He replaced both of my knees in the past 9 years. He has a wonderful, caring manner with his patients and always takes time to listen and provide answers to all of my questions. I have recommended Dr. O’Leary to many of my friends and coworkers. Who have all had wonderful experiences.

Had total knee replacement. Dr Oleary and the therapy team were all great. Would highly recommend them

Dr O’Leary was thorough in showing me the MRI meanings and visuals, he was excellent at addressing my questions and concerns. Am on schedule for miniscus surgery and have confidence in him!

It was terrible and I tried to show him a photo of what resulted from and incident and I was told the incident didn’t cause my bruising and also was told I was being dramatic about my pain. He was the worse however a staff member helped me and she was great!

As usual, Dr O’Leary was very cordial and professional . He always makes me feel like he has my best interest at heart. Great doctor and I have seen them all.

Dr. James is the absolute best. Always takes his time to make sure all of your medical needs are attended to.

Explained everything to me and very personable. I would recommend Midlands and Dr. O’Leary.

Dr. Oleary is totally professional and experienced. He has a complete facility and team at Midlands Orthopedics that takes care of pre-op, surgery, and post-op with physical therapy. He has done work on both my shoulders and recently total knee replacement. Outcomes have all been very positive.

Dr. O’Leary is a kind and thoughtful physician! I’ve had many surgeries. He helped correct one bad surgery on my shoulder! The USC injury sports team were unreliable. I was even left on a stretcher all night in a crowded room with no one getting me up till shift change during the night! So grateful he came on shift. The team at Midlands are friendly and concerned for our getting the best care! Thank you for your continued healing!

He is an excellent physician. I am a retired RN and I recognize excellence. I was referred to him by a friend and I gladly refer anyone with Orthopedic needs to him. Can you imagine a Dr. with sense of humor AND an excellent bedside manner. You do remember what a good bedside manner is, right? Ten (10) stars from me .

Everything went well.

I called on a Monday morning and was worked in that afternoon. Dr. Oleary took a lot of time with me and gave me instant relief for a knee injury over the weekend. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Midlands Orthopedic and Dr. Oleary.

My experience at Midlands Orthopedic has been absolutely great! Very kind and caring staff, very informative with every process and professional. Dr. O’Leary is the greatest! I would highly recommend for anyone needing any kind of orthopedic services.

Everyone had a smile and it was obvious everyone cared about you. Dr. O'Leary is absolutely wonderful--he explained my problem and what he could do not help.

I had a very nice experience at my appointment with Dr O'Leary today. He explained what was shown on the x-rays and gave me an option for treatment. I received a cortisone shot in my knee and had immediate relief of the pain I have been experiencing for the last few weeks. So glad I found a knee specialist near my home. I will certainly recommend Dr. O'Leary to my friends.

Doctor O'Leary go above and beyond to make sure that his patients received the best care and outstanding service that they deserve.

My visit was quick, thorough, and relieving! I appreciate Dr. O’Learys knowledge and ability to put it in terms I understand!

Dr. OLeary listened to me intently when I was explaining my problem. He gave me several options for me to do. I felt very confident in him and trusted him completely for my surgery.

Dr. James Oleary has been a pleasure to deal with for such a big procedure. I was really worried about the whole thing. He was honest about the pain, recovery, and physical therapy. He did exactly what he said, no suprises of any sort from him. I will always trust Midlands Orth and especially Dr. James with my Ortho needs.

I like the doctor. He listened to my complaints, asked questions and did not rush me. He has pleasant mannerism. All of the office staff that I encountered was very courteous and helpful.

Midlands Orthopedics and Neurology is fantastic. Great service, staff and professionals.

Though it was my first visit to see Dr. O'Leary, I was confident that he made perfect sense in his prognosis of my knee issues after studying the x-rays. He took the time to show me where the problems were and gave me options to make my own choice as to how to proceed. I appreciated that consideration. With that, the knowledge he exhibited and the professionalism I observed, I went ahead to schedule surgery for a total knee replacement that I believe will benefit my quality of life. I am now 10 days post-op and really happy with how I am progressing. The incision looks good, swelling and bruising have decreased significantly and my ability to perform the exercises provided by the physical therapists is improving daily! I am very happy to recommend Dr. O'leary to anyone who finds themselves needing total knee replacement or any other type of knee surgery. Update… Almost 6 months post op and knee is doing great. ROM is good and I can fully extend. Thank you Dr. O’Leary and Midlands staff for the great care! best doctor ever much ????

Dr O"Leary is a great doctor, he's very understanding and listens to my concerns.He takes time to explains my conditions as well as my treatment options in a clear manner. The services that I received from Dr.O'Leary was excellent .I am completely satisfied with Dr.O'Leary and his support staff and I highly recommend this practice.

Dr O’Leary is a great physician who listens to your concerns and does his best to help you understand what is happening and what you should expect with your treatment. If you need an orthopedic doctor for any reason I would highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr oleary has been great he is a very nice and knowledgeable man. I had my left knee a total replacement it was very smooth everything that he told me to expect it happened from a little pain and swelling to the time frame of healing and walking. Dr. O'Leary is top notch. He is professional, thorough, and he genuinely cares for his patients care and recovery. I highly recommend him.

My appointment went well. The doctor listened to my ailments, and altho I may have issues beyond a knee replacement, physical therapy, and excersize, might be all I need. An order of prioritiy to my issues is the plan.. Positive to a good recovery, and strengthening my body is the hope, rather than more unnecessary further surgeries. O'Leary is personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Only negative was on my last visit when staff overbooked and I was left waiting in a 12x12 exam room for 50 minutes.

Luckily This is my first experience with Orthopedics Dr.O’Leary is the best. Very professional , caring and listening to all my concerns. Had to have shoulder surgery things went great. Stayed overnight at Providence NE. ( the best) my first experience there was great. Had surgery in 6/14/2021. Started rehab 6/17 and last session was on Thursday 8/15. I cannot say enough of this entire group. I would highly recommend if you have to have surgery, this is the group to have surgery and rehab. The Midlands team is outstanding! I had shoulder in December to repair a frozen shoulder. Everything about the process was simple and straightforward and the results have been excellent as I now have full use of my shoulder again. I highly recommend Doctor O’Leary.
