If I could give negative star review I would. Dr. Nordal is by far the worst and most criminal doctor I've ever came across. Dr. Nordal was my father's doctor for many years but the last couple of years my father has been quite Ill and close to the end of his life. James Nordal had tried to talk him into taking the death pill and eventually my father, being very sick, having memory loss and being close to death with only 6 months to live, he finally gave in. The doctor gave him the pill and when it didn't take effect he gave him the pill two more times. He did not go by protocol whatsoever, there was only the doctor and a nurse in the room there wasn't two witnesses there as required and there was not a written request, only a signed waiver by my father. Once that didn't work he wanted to give it to him through an IV and he was trying to get my mother and/or my uncle to sign off on it for him. It was just heartbreaking that he would try to do that and take my father away from me and our family. I couldn't imagine why he would do that it made me very upset and I was scared that I was going to lose my father because of Dr. Nordals malpractice. I honestly think its because he wanted him to die, I think he did it because he could not find his diagnosis. When I found out I was extremeley upset and then I called Dr nordal and I confronted him and I told him I thought he was a terrible doctor and I think he needed to lose his job before he actually hurts someone. When the time came for him to see my father again to he would not give him his medication and then he told my father to make me apologize in order for him to give him his meds again. When it got to the point that I thought we should take this to the law, we went to go get documents from that doctor's office. We could not get any records of it, it was all gone. There is no records that he took the death pill from dr. Nordal's office. I just hope that this doesn't happen to somebody else's father or family member and it actually does take and they do to kill themselves because they are pressured into it by a doctor that they think they can trust. My father thought of him as a brother, he actually cared for his doctor and trusted him and in return he tried to " put him out of his misery" by convincing him to end his life. If I could I would end his career, he doesnt have the right to continue to "care" for people and to be free of consequence for what he did. I would like you all to know luckily my father is still alive and lived a year past his 6 month estimation, no thanks to James Nordal. If I could give negative star review I would. Dr. Nordal has been my primary doctor since I moved here 14 years ago. I've always felt he's a competent and caring physician and willing to refer me to a specialist when necessary. He takes the time to talk to me and understand my problems and to make sure I understand my options .His staff is kind and very good at what they do. The bottom line is that for 14 years I've received quality care with no complaints and I will continue to see him. Dr. Nordal has been my primary doctor since I moved here 14 years ago.
