Dr. James C. Natalicchio

I, Krzysztof Tyburczy had 3 epidural injections done to my lower back in 2021 and one procedure done with dr. James Natalicchio on 09/2022 ALIF- Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion- Dr. James was assisting to the main surgeon. He really took his time to make a diagnosis and explained to me in detail my injury. He was very easy to talk to. Dr. James was pleasant, very knowledgeable, compassionate, and very good listener. He gave me a treatment plan that seemed very tailored to the needs of my particular injury. Excellent sports medicine doctor for lower back pain. He really took his time and answered all my questions. I left the office with relevant materials to help me understand my issue. Overall, an excellent experience. All in all, a great professional I highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Nat for 14 years and he is the most understanding doctor I know. He listens and makes you feel comfortable, which sometimes is the most important part. He is my favorite Dr!

I've been seeing Dr. Natalicchio for about 19 years. He's a warm, compassionate, experienced doctor who always takes the time to listen and explain. The office itself is a well run engine. I never have to wait for more than 15 minutes. I've had back injections performed by him, and his caring nature shines through even as he's focusing on the injections. Quite frankly, I have no idea who the people are who gave the negative reviews.....but are we talking about the same doctor? And yes, the parking is terrible, but that's not Dr. Natalicchio's fault.

No beside manner AT ALL. After being in the waiting room forever, I finally got into an examination room and waited for close to an hour to see the him. There were no apologies for the delay and then he acted like I was inconveniencing him by being there. The front office staff are rude and it's nearly impossible to get an appointment unless you happen to be free at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday.

Only good thing is that I can take my MRI's and X-Rays to a REAL doctor. Changed his diagnosis after 2 years when I asked to DISCUSS Prolotherapy. Disagrees with Chiropractor, PHD Physical Therapist, former Orthopedic Surgeon and HIMSELF. Put my right SI Joint out at the last appt. having me do the Faber maneuver. Smirked and walked out. Thank God I had a PT appt. in a few hours. Had to beg him for script for a most need SI support belt. Arrogant, demeaning "doctor".

His late policy & office staff are ridiculous. As a new patient no one told me how horrible their parking situation is in their Hackensack location. Maybe 12 spots (some of which are handicap) for an entire medical building. I had to circle many times before I finally decided to park in the hospital parking lot near by. Needles to say, I was 25 minutes late and he REFUSED to see me. The front desk told me I had to reschedule. How many times do patients wait for drs way longer than that.

The doctor was rude, condescending, said the pain I was experiencing was all in my head (3 herniations, 2 bulging discs). He walked into the examination room after I was waiting for 40 minutes and without even looking at me says, You better not be here for medication, because I won't be giving you any. He concluded the visit stating, just go to the gym and get in shape. The staff was rude, ignored me, let 3 people cut in front of me at check out, said I couldn't leave until i checked out.

Very disappointed in the way I was treated by the doctors assistant, Diane. She has no empathy for patients and should not be in this line if work. Will not return to this doctor.

After advising my husband and me that the procedure he was recommending was no risk, my husband is now in worse pain than before. That indicates that he either didn't know what he was talking about or botched up with the hospital procedure or lied to us. Whichever the case may be, stay away from him.
