Dr. James S Millard

Dr. Millard has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time, explaining every issue You may want to discuss. He is very Professional, Proficient, Caring and Compassionate. I don't know why he has a waiting room! I never have to WAIT!!!!!

As an RN of 45 years,I highly reccomend Dr.Millard. Long before Covid arrived I was SAD, to say I was part of the Healthcare of 2000 !! I RARELY endorse medical products or the like. Lived in area 20 yrs ago returned in 2016. Why did I leave? To watch over and eventually care for my Aging Parents NEVER wanting them to go to a Nursing Home. (Does that give you an idea of how finicky and particular about my LOVED Ones care? I returned to a totally different world in East Norriton. Knew of a few MDs from working around here. Looked for a new Dr....all PROCESS patients in and out in 15 min intervals. STILL READING? Dr. MILLARD was Close to my new home. I WENT to see About choosing him. WHAT?? IT COST over $1000 A year? I have been a patient of Dr. Millard since 1986 shortly after we moved to West Norriton and I needed a doctor. Suburban General Hospital (now called Suburban Community Hospital) had recommended him. He has always taken his time with his patients, I never felt rushed. I was not happy when he joined MDVIP due to the cost I have to pay each year but I decided that it was worth it to stay with him. You will find no better doctor who will take his time with you and listen to all your concerns. I love not having to wait for an appointment. Every time I or child needed an appointment it was within 24 hours/ No more than 5 min wait time waiting room. I like that my Doc knows me and spends the necessary time a doctor should spend with a patient. Great bedside manner.

Worst Dr, total fraud. Likes to overprescribe narcotics. I lost my hearing due his prescribing me a toxic mix of medication. The ENT he referred me to said no Dr should ever have prescribed me the meds he did. He's now charging a copay to visit his office to discuss his new VIP program. Worst care ever

Dr. Millard and his staff are amazing! They are extremely professional and and the doctor will spend as much time with you as you need, they are the best, I would highly recommend!

Great staff. I have been with Dr. Millard for 23 yrs. He told me a long time ago that he got into the medical field for the sake of the patient. And he still cares for all his patients (i.e., he gets to know you on a social level). I have learned a lot about medicine from him. So, now I can speak to him in medical jargon. I've been going to this doctor for probably about 7 years. He is a great guy, and always seems to remember important things about his patients. He'll remember family related things, and possibly ask you about them, which to me shows a higher level of actually caring about his patients. He has a very long drawled out accent. He's easy to understand but sometimes the combination of his friendliness and over-enunciation make for a long visit, back-up in the waiting room, and you possibly falling asleep in the middle of the exam room. The office has a very homey feel because the office used to be a residence. The rooms are a bit dated, but the office is always clean and sanitized as it should be. The walls are a bit thin and you can often hear the doctor's booming voice two exam rooms over. This doesn't bother me personally, but may be an issue for some people. All in all he's a great doc. His office staff is a bit overworked, since there is usually only one person who is running both the doctor and answering the phones.. etc. but I don't really have any issues with these things. Great doctor, great bed side manner. Always takes time to talk and explain things. Sometimes your appointment times get pushed back as a result but that it is easily forgotten once you are the patient he's dealing with.

I have been a patient of Dr. MIllard's for about 3 years now, although I don't go on a regular basis as I am pretty healthy. My first visit was wonderful, he got me caught up on a bunch of regular diagnostic tests (including one that I'd normally have to see an OBGYN for) that I had skipped the past few years, listened to any and all of my health concerns and was very thorough and took his time during our appointment. Any time I've needed to come in on the same day for a sick visit, he has had appointments available and he is quick to call in prescriptions so I don't have to wait. Reception staff is...OK. Not super nice, but not rude either. I only removed one star from his review because I have privacy concerns about his office. The office is in a building that looks like it used to be a residence. You can sometimes hear peoples conversations when waiting in the exam rooms. Also his equipment and exam rooms could definitely use some updating. Also, they are cash/check only for copays, which is annoying and inconvenient if you have an FSA/HSA. Anyhow I fully plan having my newborn become a patient of Dr. Millard once he's a bit older. I am very happy with this doctor & the office. He is intuitive, caring & professional. He never let me down. Another thing that I like about this office is that there is an on call doctor available & I did have to call it couple of times on the weekend & holiday.

Dr. Millard is a great doctor whom I have trusted for the last 10 years or so. He is local to me and always available and has never steered me wrong. I highly recommend him. Even if you have a lapse in coverage, as I did when I was a grad student, he will try his best to work with you. Give him a chance I don't think you will be disappointed.
