Dr Maher is the best I highly recommend him, his staff is so helpful and wonderful also .

Dr. Maher is the best. And the office staff is always professional, competent, timely and a pleasure to speak with. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Had a torn meniscus and damage under my kneecap went to Dr Maher he did the surgery arthroscopic and my knee is worse than it was, I wish I would researched better.

Unbearable shoulder pain ! Dr Maher figured it out and I am on my way to recovery . Thorough and professional. Highly recommended.

I found him to be a very good Dr that showed interested in me as a patient. He's a very good surgeon and well liked at the hospital by those who assisted him.

I had a great experience with Dr Maher. I found him very pleasant to talk with. He explained everything in complete details for the surgery I needed. I would recommend him to anyone that needed surgery.

I saw this physician for a rotator cuff problem. He sent me for an MRI. The second visit was to discuss the results of the MRI. Dr. Maher could NOT have been more DISINTERESTED in me as a patient and my condition. He barely made eye contact. I can't comment on his competence because he did nothing more than read the results of the MRI report. His social and interpersonal skills are very poor and he appears depressed and detached. I will never return for another

I had surgery around 8 months and he left me worst than before surgery. I can barely walk. Went back to him to tell him how bad I'm doing and he said there is nothing he can do. Went to another doctor and the MRI revelealed many problems. Now I have to have another surgery with a different doctor

I had an 8:45am appointment to review MRI results. I showed up at 8:35 went to the front desk and checked in. Around 8:43 another gentleman walked into the office and said I have a 8:45 2 mins later a nurse came out into the waiting room and called for the other guy. By 9:00 i was still waiting so I went up to the front desk and politly asked why I haven't been seen yet the woman said that I have only been waiting 15 mins and it could be an hour. I said I feel like my time wasn't being valued

Dr. Maher has performed total knee replacements on both of my knees. The left knee in May, 2012, and the right knee in June, 2013. The results have been spectacular, and I would estimate that I have upwards of 95% use of my knees and legs compared to when I was a younger man, forty years ago. Both recoveries took approximately 6 to 8 weeks and required a regular and dedicated physical routine on my part aided by the University Orthopedic staff on twice weekly basis to provide guidance and proper repetitions. Dr. Maher has also performed hand surgeries for my wife, Pat, with regards to her carpal tunnel and trigger-lock finger symptoms with all of the operations being very successful. I understand that Dr. Maher has recently expanded his staff and relocated his offices to Valley Road in Middletown. Wherever you find him, I recommend his orthopedic services without reservation.
