Dr. James Ivan Maeda

He removed small mole. He was coughing. His breath smelled like infection. Didn't wear facemask. Helper didn't wear gloves. Taped bandage to hairy area w/o shaving. I removed stitches at home. The two sides of the incision didn't come together level. One side was pushed in, and held that way by stitches, so it healed to the inside of the wound. Scar is now wide, bright pink, still some pain. By contrast, a diff Dr. removed lymph node rt next to it. Can barely see THAT scar (super thin line)

Dr. Maeda isn't the fastest doctor but he is through and he cares about his patients and takes the time to figure out what is going on in their lives.

Terrible experiences. The first visit he had an intern with him that kept yawning while Maeda kept typing on the computer. The next visit (thought I would try it once more since my regular doctor moved) and he never met my eyes once! Endless typing, no communication. His diagnosis was laughable and the notes given to me as I left were entirely untrue. Just another man in a huge hurry to give me my 15 minutes and on the next sucker. Just one joint at a time was the quote of the day!
