Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Liguori and his staff! From accommodating me with next day appointment for an urgent matter, to unparalleled patient care, and warm/ empathetic staff and going the extra mile when I needed them, there are few practices of this caliber still around today! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and Dr Liguori has great clinical acumen and a very compassionate bedside manner!! Thank you again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Liguori for several years; he's a superior Neurologist. Dr.James Liguori provides quantitative care. I've referred family and friends as a result. His staff is friendly; pleasant; and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr.James Liguori for the quality of care he provides.

I called to make sure that a bill got paid from my insurance company and what a rude just horrible human being. Doctor Liguori you need to get better staff to answer your phones and take patients. I been going to dr Liguori’s office for a disabled disabled now and going as a long time patient I’m treated with no respect. I’m disabled and in a lot of pain . I given an appointment at a given time , I don’t think it’s proper to be skipped over and left sitting beyond my appt by 2 or 3 other patients. I always am respectful and expect the same in return. I don’t understand what is going on with this practice. I now understand why a lot of patients left and found another doctor and with a better staff. This office also has someone very rude running it .

The doctor seemed ok, but the office staff is rude and unprofessional. They routinely say that they are too busy to answer your questions and someone will call you back, but they never do. They do not go one iota out of their way to help you. They also only accept cash or debit card so make sure that they are charging you the correct amount because if they happen to overcharge you, you may never get a refund, and you will have very little recourse. I am dealing with this now and it is a headache. My insurance company called them and informed them they had overcharged me, and they still will not refund my money. The worst experience i’ve ever had in a professional setting ever. My first visit I was not even greeted, 25 minutes later they realize after gossiping that I need to fill out paperwork for them, further lengthening my wait time. The doctor experience was not bad I can tell he was genuinely concerned about what was going on with me. Then back to the desk where I am again virtually disregarded, she asked me where I lived then I was thrown a script, no eye contact once. The old lady on that desk is genuinely been bitter in every interaction we’ve had from on the phone to in person and so forth. Don’t expect a very happy experience if she’s there. Not a great experience and didn’t get answers ..Horrible office !! The question is what is their problem .. You go there for help and get and attitude from the office manger .. then the dr plays dr and mayor which he is the mayor of mutton town !!! What is he into politics or medicine .. I left feeling worse .. Theres a lot better doctors and friendly offices out there .. I recommend to look beyond dr Liguori’s!!!

The receptionist in this office is extremely rude and speaks to clients in a condescending manner. My daughter has been going there for severe back pain help and she simply gave up with the practice receptionist and now she has to find another neurologist. I am a healthcare professional and am appalled by how the receptionist spoke to me as well.

Its pretty sad to see such an amazing doctor have his receptionist, rosa , tarnish his offices reputation. Never dealt with such a rude and miserable women like her. Liguori is an amazing doctor but he should consider hiring someone new or live with the fact that he'll lose business because of this.

If I could leave no stars I would. Lady at the front desk is very rude. I believe her name is Gina Casale. My mother got into an accident and is in need of therapy. Crystal in the office is extremely condescending and rude. I am surprised at how unprofessional someone representing the office can be. She seems to not care even after I voiced my surprise at her tone. This was the very first time I ever spoke to her or the office by the way. Wow. Just wow. The front desk women here are extremely rude and talk to people like they are nothing . My mom was supposed to be a new patient but we ended up leaving. It was our first time at this office , and a horrible first impression it was. I called this office multiple times in the past and was hung up on and talked to in a rude manner. It’s a shame the doctor has great reviews and I never got to meet him, but I will never return to this office. The doctor needs to take a look at his staff. Love Dr. Liguori and his staff!!! I've been going to him since he first became a Dr. That's about 25 years ago or so.

First visit to Dr. Liguori office and I was thrilled with my experience here. Compared to other doctors I've been to, Dr. Liguori and his staff were extremely helpful and very considerate with my condition. His office manager helped me get an appointment as soon as possible since I was waiting almost 5 months for other doctors to get seen. The office was extremely busy with other patients so I did have wait a bit but once I met with the doctor, he took his time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. Best experience.

He was professional and thorough, Compassionate and understanding. He knew just what to say and do, and he helped me so much. I felt so much better when I left the office.

Made an appointment and immediately cancelled it because of the receptionist’s attitude. I have issues with speaking to people on the phone, so my father was with me and called the office. He asked me how old i was as a joke and said “it’s scary i don’t remember my daughter’s age” and the receptionist replied “what’s scary is that you’re making the appointment for her” in a very angry voice. In a professional office this kind of behavior should get you fired. What if she said this to someone who had a disability? I see from other reviews people have the same issue with this one woman. The only reason i give this place even a 1 star is because the doctor is a great doctor. His staff on the other hand are the most rude people i have came in contact with. They always have an attuide, lazy, get mad when you ask them for something. Very unprofessional to be working in the front and with patients. Dr.Liguori is a great doctor but his office staff is rude and unprofessional to his patients. Just because you're not happy don't take it out on the patients.

Dr.Liguori is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately you have to get through his horrendous staff. They do not represent him or his office they way he deserves. Being a business manager of a private practice myself, I would be embarrassed.

Dr. James Liguori is the best neurologist I had and takes care of my needs, but the people who work for him can be very rude at times and they screw up paper work too, especially for a disability claim. It might be time to replace a few people in his office.

I thing he is a good doctor, very smart. Had him since 2011. Also like Aliceson, so sweet but as far as the others, dont care much for them. They dont give off a friendly atmophere.

I cant say enough wonderful things about dr. Liguori he helped me through serious injuries and is beyond warm hearted when you are his patient your not just a number your his friend his staff is kind and always caters to your needs best dr. On long island!!!

This was the single most unprofessional place I have ever been to and I will NEVER go back much less recommend it to anyone! The first time I went to see Dr.Ligouri, (mind you it was my first time there) I was sitting in the exam room listening to the women who work for him behind the front desk trashing one of the other patients! I met Dr Liguori and he was very nice so I let that slide but when on my second appointment I had a full on panic attack because of the horrific parking situation, I arrived for my appointment 20 minutes early so I could find a space, and I was STILL running late because I hadn’t found a spot yet so in the midst of my panic attack I called the office and I was sobbing, his receptionist was so rude, and obnoxious and actually said “I don’t know what you want me to do about it “and hung up on me! They are all rude like that except Dr. Liguori and I would not recommend this office to ANYONE EVER! He is patient and listens well. The office is at a great location, clean and the staff is friendly.

Great doc very friendly and is the mayor of his town too, just elected. He's a top notch doc, engages in friendly conversation. Down to earth guy! You'll love him!

Receptionist is very rude. Asked for a copy of my neurological report over a Mont ago still have not received it the woman at the front desk is rude and nasty in her mannerisms and seems not to like her job. She should be replaced by the doctor as she made me feel very uncomfortable

I found the doctor to be very friendly and attentive but his office manager is nasty and combative. I was requesting copies of a report to submit in an attempt to get THEM paid and they refused because I should have already had it. If I had it, I wouldn’t bd requesting it. Moving on...

Dr.Liguori is a kind compassionate man who listens and ask questions about your issue until he gets to the bottom of it. He understands you're there due to pain or other issues and does his best to address it without rushing you out the door. Very disappointed. Wait was pretty long both in the waiting room and exam room. Doctor was in a rush and didn't discuss results or treatment options. Staff is rude as well.

I met with a Dr Liquori two weeks ago. I waited for 1hr and 20 min. This was my first visit. After i was put in the room I waited for another 20 min. I'm a Registered Nurse. I came with strong back pain and sciatica. Dr. Liguori did not even check any reflexes...neurologi 101. I was in the room for about 5 min and also paid $50 coopay. He told me I need MRI and receptionist will help me to sched. Two weeks passed by. No one called me. Stay away from this rip off shady business men not a dr.

This past Wednesday I saw Dr. Liguria and found that he really listened to me, took his time and was able to explain things easily. After seeing him, I immediately went to have an mri of my brain. I was told by the technician that my doctor would have the report by Monday but I called his office on Friday and found they already had the report. The Doctor got on the phone with me within a minute, gave me the results, comforted me and assured me I would recover. This Dr is amazing!

Dr. Liguori is very professional, a good Doctor. However, I have never met such a rude and unpleasant group of staff members. All of reception seem to hate their jobs/life and make you feel very unwelcome. Unfortunately I dread visiting this office because of the staff. The wait times are awful. The waiting room is always packed and you will wait over an hour regardless of what time you arrive. Would not recommend this office solely on the environment/atmosphere.

After asking Dr.Liuori what demylating condition was on an MRI report he replied it was just my Cerebral Palsy and that I was getting older. After going to his office with difficulty walking, double vision and unable to write he told me I'd feel better by tomorrow. By the next day, I was in the hospital unable to see or lift my head from the pillow. I sent 32 days in the hospital with an extreme multiple sclerosis exasperation. Dr. Liguori treated me like a hypercondiac despite MRI report.

Took my husband right away.Very professionall. Highly recommended
