I scheduled the appointment over a month ago. I discussed the reasons that I was leaving my other doctor to see this one with the receptionist when making my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested and at around 11 (time of my appt) I was put into a room to wait on the doctor. While in the room I could hear the doctor discussing football with the previous patient. It is now 11:15. I hear the door open and I think great, he's done talking sports and ready to practice medicine. My hopes were dashed when I heard another door open and the doctor is going to see another patient. I then go and respectfully communicate to the receptionist that the reason I left my other doctor was over all disrespect of my time and my requests. I made time out of my day for this. When will doctors realize they are only educated guessers and that seeing the patient at the time of their appointment is indicative of their level of respect? I will not wait over 15 minutes for someone with whom I made an appointment....and neither should you. I scheduled the appointment over a month ago.
