Dr Kelly was great treating my ganglion cyst at the base of my middle finger. He gave me a shot that exploded the cyst that was bothering me for months! He was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. Kelly is the absolute best! He is kind, compassionate, has a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable!

I have had Dr Kelly for over 20 years having done a previous wrist surgery. I am seeing him now for the other wrist with a surgery appointment coming up in the fall. I love this man he is very compassionate very knowledgeable very attentive to every question. I would recommend him over anybody else for hand or wrist surgery.

After meeting Dr. Kelly for the first time, I felt completely comfortable with his knowledge and patient rapport. He never made me feel rushed during our assessment meeting and my wife and I have complete confidence in his ability to effectively treat my condition. Although we drove 3 hours from Syracuse to see Dr. Kelly, we felt it was completely worth the trip and have no reservations with seeing him in the future for surgery. Dr James J Kelly was very informative, pleasant,and knowledgeable. He did not rush through my appointment but took time to answer my questions & was not pushy or trying to have me see things only one way. I highly recommend Dr Kelly if You need a great Doctor for your hand., he's the best!

Very warm and professional.

I’ve had four trigger fingers fixed, different Drs. First doc to lay out the percentages of the effectiveness of a cortisone injection. ???? Did I even need the other four surgeries?

Great personality, and more important, a knowledgeable and caring physician. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I've been there. First time I have met Dr kelly. Very nice man, well spoken, made me feel very comfortable. Showed me my x-rays explain to me what they were and how I was healing. Very happy to have met him. Would recommend excelsior to anyone who needed orthopedic help

Being a physician myself I know what to look for in a doctor. Dr James Kelly is an academic physician with a great bedside manner and tremendous fund of knowledge. I can honestly tell you that Dr. Kelly is a great and very trustworthy doctor. I periodically refer my patients to Dr. Kelly when certain conditions present. His staff has always been very professional and my patients are well taken care of. Dr. Kelly, himself, has a nice personality and seems very driven to provide the best care. Very nice and very thorough. He takes his time during exam and will find out what your problem is. After being ignored by another Dr., I am glad Dr. Kelly is managing my care.

I waited a few months to get on the schedule. I had to get permission to leave work early to make it to my 2:30 pm appointment, but did not get to see Dr. Kelly until almost 5 pm. That's ridiculous! He was, however, thorough and professional throughout the examination.

Dr. Kelly is the best, He operated on both my hands and wrists and I can do anything now! I wouldn't go to anyone else, I just wish he did Knees!

Dr Kelly is an amazing surgeon and a wonderfully patient physician. He listens carefully to his patients and makes a great effort to help them heal to the fullest.

I had seen him twice over the course of three years and both times I had an excellent experience with him. He explained everything well and was overall a friendly doctor. He is an excellent surgeon and have no problems with my hands since surgery.

I feel Dr Kelly provides the best care I could possibly receive! He and his staff are very professional and kind! I would not trust my care to any other doctor I have complete faith and trust in him!! I recommend him HIGHLY!!

I had to see Dr. Kelly on 2 separate problems with my hands over the past few years. I would and have recommended him to other people. So happy my doctor recommended him to me. He cares about his patients and gives you his undivided attention to your problem and in resolving it. To me he is the go to doctor.

Dr. Kelly takes the extra few minutes to thoroughly discuss your issues. Well worth waiting the extra 15-30 mins in waiting room knowing I am going to get all of my questions answered and not feel hurried.
