I’ve seen a few negative reviews but my personal experience has been nothing short of awesome! My dr., Dr. Johnson is very nice, easy-going, and listened to all of my concerns without making me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable even once. I’ve had bad experiences with male OBs before but he was a breath of fresh air. The ladies at the front desk are always polite and kind, and the ladies in the lab were very pleasant to talk with! All in all I’m having a really good experience being seen here and look forward to my next visit! 10/10 would recommend

Really good doctor makes you feel comfortable

I was supposed to come back in 2 months not 2 weeks, with the exception of getting a text,see you feb 14 at 945 everything is ok

I have been a patient of Dr. James Johnson since 2003. He is very professional and kind. He has taken good care of me and I will continue to go to his office for long as he will practice.

This is my second child, my first time coming to this clinic and wow, from the front desk till the check out everything is fast, witch I love! You don't have to wait there for hours, which gives you the rest of your day. The nurses are amazing. They are kind, fast, and funny, which make the experience much better.They answer all of your questions, they are very respectful, and they make you feel comfortable, Dr. James is a very respectful person, with experience, I love this clinic, and I would recommend it.

Dr J Johnson is the most compassionate, caring and understanding physician i know. I have been seeing him for over 15 years. I also referred my daughters to him. Hi is one doctor you will have a visit with and leave feeling great.

Everyone was friendly, they were welcoming to my husband and kids that came with us (babysitter no-showed) and were very patient with questions and concerns! What I was most impressed with is that Dr Johnson knew my meds and my history before he even walked in the door. It was my first appointment in the practice, and he took the time to review my medical history before meeting me. THAT meant a lot, and I felt that the care was individualized. Other OBGYN’S in West Valley have been lacking in the area and I have to give them all of the info myself and repeat it over and over again, which can get old. I really appreciated that.

Dr. Johnson is a nice change compared to many doctors. He makes you feel understood and that he values you as a patient.

Dr. Johnson was very friendly and helpful with our visit today! We also saw him for a follow-up after a miscarriage last year and he answered all the questions I had in a very kind and gentle way then as well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Johnson was wonderful thru my whole pregnancy and postpartum! All the nurses are super friendly!

The staff always seems so annoyed.. other than that the 5 stars is for Dr. Johnson! Very respectful and is very informative! Highly recommend

Dr. James is the absolute best!!! I've been with him for 18 years and he's been fantastic. He is very thorough and takes his time with you. He is also thoughtful and really cares about his patients. His gentle spirit is exceptionally calming. I can not image having any other doctor.

Dr. Johnson is best! I’ve been seeing him since I had my first son almost 12 years ago. He is always professional, calm and takes his time answering any questions I have. I wish he could be my doctor for everything.

Dr Johnson is the all time best. Great personality and makes you feel comfortable the entire appointment and is so gentle. He delivered my last child and the experience was incredible. I suggest him 100%

He was super thorough and very easy to talk to. Just brought up things that I didnt even think of now that I am getting up there in age and should probably take a look at. Office is clean. Staff is nice and quick to get you in and out. Who wants to be at the doctor all day!

I have had nothing but the best experience since I finding Dr. Johnson for my care. Each time I've gone to the office, I'm helped immediately. My longest wait was maybe 10-15 minutes on 1 visit, during the others I was seen quickly. Office staff is amazing! I love that they allow pre-check-in a few days ahead of the appointment. I had to go to the hospital recently & Dr. Johnson was there, answered my questions, & showed he truly cared, including at my follow-up visit. I'm. Lessed to have found such great care! Dr. Johnson was wonderful as usual. He was very gentle and made sure I had I knew what he was doing at all times. At the end of our visit he made sure all my questions had been answered. Dr. Johnson is just a great doctor; I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of his on and off (military, so due to moves) since early 2004. After moving back and coming back to him to become a patient, he still remembered me, and was even more kind and caring than I remember. He delivered my middle daughter, even though his partner at the time was the Dr. on call, and at my last appointment, he fit me in even though I had been (accidentally) scheduled with another Dr. He listens and takes seriously my concerns. I won't see anyone else.

Have had a great experience during both pregnancies. The staff are all kind and understanding. The young women at the front desk took the time to remember my name, and are all very friendly. Don't have problems setting up my next visit. I had a problem getting my pharmacy corrected so my prescriptions would go to the right place, and have only recently had a minor problem setting up an appointment to go to the hospital to induce. Feel forgotten a little, but I guess it's kind of understandable considering they may have quite a few patients. Have had a great experience during both pregnancies. I've been to many OB/GYN offices and this by far is my favorite. Their staff and Doctors are very friendly. I recently had a missed miscarriage, not only did they take their time to explain my options and answer my questions but they also helped me cope with the situation better and make me feel like everything will be okay. They did follow up phone calls to give me test results and see how I'm doing. They truly make you feel like they care unlike other Doctors office that make you feel like you're just another patient in their office and only care for your money. If you're on the search for an OB/GYN office that won't make you feel like you're wasting your money then I recommend West Valley Womens care and their Doctors. I've been to many OB/GYN offices and this by far is my favorite. Their staff and Doctors are very friendly. Long waits, even if you show up super early. Ridiculous!

Worst OB/GYN. I would never recommend anyone to come here. The front office ladies are extremely rude, always asked if I could "afford" my 10$ copay. Worst services I've ever experienced at an office before.

If this review was strictly about the doctors at West Valley Women's Care I would have given it 5 stars. But unfortunately it seems that whenever you find an amazing doctor, you have to sacrifice something and in this case it is the office staff. The front office staff refused to let me keep my appointment after I was 9 minutes late and I was told this after waiting in the front watiting room for 7 minutes. They said that because I was late they had already taken back the following 2 appointments and there was no room for me. On multiple occassions I have waited in this office for 40+ minutes but apparently the kindness is only one-sided. They will not wait for you! So as long as you're not late and you don't have to deal too much with the office staff, this is an amazing office!!! Front office staff is rude. Its always an hour and half wait for them to call you in. Just to be seen for 5 min. But if you are 7 minutes late you have to reschedule and or tell you dont show up. Then 20 min later they call you and ask are you going to show up? Stupid policy if you were going to sit there and wait an hour anyways. Before christmas i had an appt at 1. When i arrived for my apt at 12:30 the office was closed from 12 - 2. They never informed me about the closure. I havent seen my obgyn since may i dont even think she exist anymore I've seen every other doctor but the one thats supposed to deliver my baby. You recieve a reminder call 2 hrs after your appt reminding you that you missed it as if its an incovience for them. Instead of them calling you the day before to remind you have an appt the next day. This office is horrible. The only nice staff are the ladies that schedule the appointments. I love Kim and Dr Briggs but the office staff is horrible, I called in late to my apt to find out when i got there the receptionist wouldn't even give me the option to have her ask the nurse she just rudely said "she won't see you now". Wish they would of told me this over the phone. The next day i called so a nurse could call me to set up a new appointment and three days later now they have not called me. I'm done, office staff is horrible and they don't care. I been going there for three years and this is the first time this happens but not even the nurses or others will listen to what i had to say. When i was also pregnant with my first child I had high blood pressure, and my arms, legs and face were swollen all which indicated i had preeclampsia which they never diagnose me until after i had my baby. not sure about this office and doctors now. Very difficult to rate! I absolutely love my doctor but i absolutely do not care for any of the front staff or assistants. I hate calling for any reason because they are always so rude! The same with the MA's when you go in for your appointment. They never smile, they are not at all pleasant. Its absolutely ridiculous!

I love the staff there. They delivered my first baby and have literally became like family. I highly recommend this team.
