Well, my opinion is (and it counts), Dr. Jochum not only is he professional, caring, and just plain awesome ???? There is a reason why it takes so long a wait for the procedure, not only does the surgeon explain it thoroughly, but your Optometrist explains it Thoroughly also.BEFORE you are even scheduled for surgery. The first time you see the Doc. YES, you WILL wait. they told me so. They made SURE they told me and my husband that this will happen. I WAS AWARE (Did anyone stop and think how many patients are getting their Precious eyes are getting done also? YES, I waited 1to 1-1/2 hours for my exam and that was just from the optometrist! (Did you ever think that maybe other Drs. are sick and they help them out)? Mine did. NOW, I was told WHY as per my Doc would explain to me. (Yours should have told you also- We're you listening?) ***I WASN'T*** That's why I brought my husband. He explained to me what the Doc was saying to ensure I knew what was going to happen before the procedure. They told me that I will be in pre-op that I will be there for 4 to 41/2 hrs. Oh boy. Now, you have to start putting eye drops in BEFORE you get to the outpatient building to PREVENT infection. (What a pain that was but I didn't want to develop an infection BEFORE surgery. HERE'S THE REASON WHY!!! You are in the pre-op for 4-41/2 hours and they put eye drops in every 15-20 mins. or So. Everyone that is in pre-op with you, gets the same excellent care. (It's not just all about you) like I thought. NOW, They gave me 50!- 60! drops BEFORE the procedure every 15-20 mins. to ensure I was FREE of any infection and all other Gobbledy goop that is your eye to PROTECT YOU! Not because they want you to wait. Finally,(whew)... You forget all about that when you see beautifully out of those precious eyes. I hope I was clear enough for you to understand. Dr. Jochum performed cataract surgery on me. I was very pleased with the results.

Excellent doctor, he takes the time and answer all the questions you might have. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

I have had a very positive experience here. Friendly and professional. It does get a little busy so don’t be in a hurry when you have an appointment. My case was very serious ( I almost lost an eye) so waiting a little while for very competent, knowledgeable treatment is a small price to pay.

Dr. Jochum performed ptosis surgery on my right eyelid over 2 years ago. The surgery went very well with no complications. I would recommend him highly. I have also noted that for routine eye issues such as my dry eyes, the practice will encourage me to use OTC stuff and come in only if I dont self heal - this is in stark contrast to specialists today who are trying to bill as much as possible.

The service at this location is terrible. The person I had to call about getting a replacement set of trial lenses didn't call back. I had to call her and was told it would be two days for another pair to arrive and they would call me. She acted as if it was troubling her to even do her job. I waited for over a week. When I called today to speak with a manager I got Debbie who also had an attitude and informed me that they had called and left a voice mail. I have never received any message from them. I called to speak with Sue who is the office manager and she acted like a snot as well. It was too much of an effort for any of them the just do their job. Although they got my money for the eye exam, I am taking my $400 contact order elsewhere. The service at this location is terrible.
