I've had injections in the past, always a little nerve racking. Dr. Hill was very thorough in explaining what would help me, what he would do, what to expect and very gentle, caring if I was uncomfortable at all. Good experience

Dr Hill took time to explain in detail, answer questions and best of all had me pain free in days. As an added bonus he is personable and accessible.

He also makes sure you need nothing after your procedure as well as what you may experience afterward and what to expect in any case scenario. . . Superb physician. . .

I have seen Dr. Hill twice for injections. He had read my file before my appointment. He was thorough in explaining the procedure and made sure I was able to ask questions. I felt like I had great care both times.

Perfection… That’s the only word to describe my experience. Having never seen me in his office before Dr. Hill Greeted me by calling me by my first name and knew my file and issues without having to open up and stare at pieces of paper or a laptop. Dr. Hill immediately sat down next to a large monitoring screen and explained exactly what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He open the floor up several times for me to question and took his time to explain every detail of the procedure. The procedure was swift painless and I had immediate results the next day. He also took the time to talk to me about an issue that my wife has had for seven years and had a great recommendation for us to follow after having been to Duke Chapel Hill and other facilities and holistic treatments that did not have any results. I have total confidence in Dr. James Hill. During the procedure he is very communicative and clear, explaining everything that he is doing, as it is happening, and very interested in how I am feeling during the procedure. He anticipates any sensations the procedure may cause which gives me a sense of ease as a patient. He also keeps "ahead of the pain" so that as a patient I feel very little discomfort. All of my epidurals have gone very well and I highly recommend him.

Professional, accommodating, considerate, highly skilled, and definitely recommended. I saw Dr. Hill for a cortico-steroid injection due to radiculopathy. He is very personable, engaging in conversation, which definitely reduces stress for the patient! After our discussion, he even provided his personal contact info so that I could follow up with him on a separate, but related, medical issue. Great provider all around (although he needs to update his picture here - lol).

Dr. Hill is familiar with my situation and is a good listener. He was responsive and was able to help me get back on track to reach my running goals.

Dr. Hill explained everything clearly and told me what to expect during the spinal injections. Not painful at all and for the first time in months (or even years) I have minimal pain! Just hope it lasts.

I saw Dr. Hill on 11-10-22, he was very kind. and open, which made me comfortable. He also was very compassionate about his work. He took the time to explain my situation, the procedure and showed me my MRI Images and pointed out where the irritation was. He had great information about the procedure and my specific issue, but unfortunately I could not remember single thing because I was nervous. During the injection, he explained what he was doing and asked several times if I was ok. He is a doctor will go back to if (hopefully not) I need an additional injection.

Dr Hill is an excellent MD. If Dr Hill took patients as a primary care physician, I would go to him. He informed me of what to expect, what was happening, what could unexpectedly happen. He was gentle with the procedure. I cannot say enough good things. The office staff was also excellent. Friendly, informative, accurate. Everything you want in a medical office. .

Dr Hill was knowledgeable, conciderate and professional. The staff was equally so. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Hill is great. Can’t think of one negative thing about him. He is professional yet very friendly. He not only takes the time to explain all details ahead of time but also talks you through procedures as he is preforming so no surprises. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hill.

My appointment with Doctor Hill was on May 19th at 11 o'clock in the morning .Meeting Doctor Hill ,he was very professional, I ended up being 15 minutes late for the appointment, Doctor Hill was very understanding. I was therefore a nerve block shot pain management in my lower back .Doctor Hill explained everything in detail and we just went over a few questions and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The one Issue that I did have and the reason why I was 15 minutes late was that I reported to Mount Auburn hospital . I was told that my appointment was in on Guest Street in Brighton, I was not notified of this and I think the office should send out some some kind of notice through email or through the Post Office letting you know where to report and when. The woman at the front desk said she would call the Guest Street office and let them know I was on my way .The secretary at Guest Street said that she was not notified by anybody. Be aware this Doctor physically injured me; after the ddd facet ablation since March of 2019 I have been in constant lower back pain even sitting down. Not once this doctor ever return any email or messages, not once. Also he never meets you unless he doing the surgery. In person he seems nice but its all last minutes. Even makes you fill out paper work on the very last minute so that you don't read what you signing. At first back in early February I tried to set up an appointment with the Pro Sports Orthopedics with Doctor Josef B. Simon but the office forces you to see this other assistance first Christina Linkiewicz. This is when all went wrong. Christina Linkiewicz she goes and interview you and set a number of test etc, blood and MRI. Then based on this MRI she suggested ddd facet ablation with this other Doctor James Hill. Now this is the their trick.. Dr Hill set this procedure in two stages. The first Stage is only to drop strong medication by the facet near the nerves that are apparently are causing you the pain. Keep in mind that this is very painful for about 15 minutes. The part that is misleading is that this numb medication will kill the pain for 6 hours. For six hours you mind gets full of hopes and dreams about not having the pain that is killing you. So now you pretty much beg this Doctor to do the actual Ablation on the facets. A few days after you go and see the doctor to do the second part which by the way is actual PAIN TORTURE, JUST PAIN TORTURE FOR 45 MINUTES. At this point he just explain that within a seven days all pain will go away and you would be fine. All NOT TRUE. I was so much in pain I had to close down the gun shop for over two months. Emails after Emails all they wanted to give me was anti-inflation medication. Eventually they gave me the lowest prescription of actual pain medication which hard did any help. THIS DOCTOR HILL PUT ME INTO SO MUCH PAIN IT JUST INHUMANE. I am very angry at this Doctor even after all this time. Then after considerable time Christina Linkiewicz goes ahead and suggest that I go see either pain management somewhere else or see Doctor Simon which is the doctor that I originally wanted to see in the first place. If you see all of this stepping is a not about helping the ill but they do this so that you don't sue them for malpractice. So please please please be fully aware this really happened to me. In fact it was much worse that I can put into words because it just unthinkable. Now I am just very afraid to see any doctors. They just hurt you without any remorse or consequences.
