One of the worst experiences I have had with a medical professional and their staff. From the first visit with fat shaming to the consult with Hendrick. I do not think that they read or listened to my medical history. A lot of false accusations regarding my lifestyle and dietary habits. Displayed complete disregard as well as an obvious lack of knowledge of my upcoming surgical procedure. (which was the reason for the appointment) I left with no valuable insight or information for my health and felt shamed, gaslit, and both intellectually and emotionally devalued. When confronted by my surgeon's office, Hendrick's office manager called for a follow-up conversation. At the close of the call she concluded, "So we will just chalk this up to being a personality conflict." Update since that first visit in early Oct '22: Through guidance, support, and encouragement from my medical providers (all women btw), I have lost 25+ pounds.

Staff is wonderful, Dr Hendricks is caring and compassionate.

Insulted me on a weekly basis till I was in tears. Told me I was the kind of person who if I did lose weight I would gain it right back. I have been extremely happy with my experience working with Dr. Hendrick and his staff. They have helped me to achieve and surpass my health goals over the last 6th months (with no rebound weight gain so far). Dr. Hendrick used a highly collaborative approach to help me develop a plan geared to my needs, lifestyle, and personal goals. He is empathic and non-judgemental. When obstacles arose, he helped me develop strategies to maintain my progress. Best of all, I feel my plan is sustainable over the long-term. Life changing. I was referred to Dr Hendricks at the lowest emotional point in my weight loss journey. I was making some progress on my own, but was depressed, doubtful, and ready to give up. The advice and support helped to reframe my emotional relationship with food. He listened to my blockers and broke next steps into small, achievable milestones --always acknowledging that lasting change isn't easy, but it doesn't have to happen overnight. I am not on a diet, I'm giving my body the fuel that it needs. The entire staff are positive, empathetic, and give endless encouragement. I am now nearly 100 pounds down, and feeling better than I have in years.

At first I was apprehensive about starting this program-many places I have been before have felt condescending, so I was surprised when those fears were allayed. Dr Hendrick and his staff are very genuine (it's a breath of fresh air!). No crazy promises/lies, no fad diet extremes, this approach is about changing your habits & modifying your lifestyle. If you're looking to make a permanent change, I'd recommend giving this a try.

Dr Hendricks has provided the tools for me to be successful in reducing my weight and developing a healthier focus in my life. I have appreciated the accountability that comes with the weight loss journey as well as the need to identify what interventions are necessary for my individual progress.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hendricks for the past 10 months. During that time Dr. Hendricks has consulted me in making smarter food choices, he listens to all my concerns and is empathetic to what my goals are. I feel he has been a great asset to my weight lose and self confidence in achieving my better health goals. Dr. Hendricks is definitely a special physician who understands and listens and seems to understand even when I have a difficult time trying to explain what my concerns are. Dr. Hendricks is a FIVE STAR doctor.

My wife attended an appointment with this doctor today and came home crying. Why? Because he essentially told her that her physical symptoms and weight changes couldn't be happening given her recent diet and thus she must be lying about her nutritional journal for the last few weeks. I get that a lot of people are dishonest with doctors about their own health, but my wife is NOT one of them. Being dismissed by Dr. Hendrick in this way was demeaning, insulting, and unprofessional. Dr. Hendrick has been a very important part of my weight loss journey. He has coached me non-stop along the way. He will support you during good & bad times. I highly recommend him if you have had challenges taking or keeping off weight.

I went to Dr. Hendrick because my diet was terrible, I had poor energy and little stamina. I wasn't sleeping well at night. I needed to take a nap in the daytime and I suffered from brain fog. I was also overweight. Dr Hendrick provided great educational visits, lab work, support and some supplements as needed. I have more energy, sleep much better at night & no longer need afternoon naps. My diet is improved and I've even lost 40+ pounds!. I just feel so much better!!

Dr. Hendrick is a brilliant physician providing an exceptional service in Northern Colorado. His staff is fantastic, caring & understanding. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Hendrick for 3 months. In that time I have learned how to manage my eating habits and make better food choices. I have lost nearly 30 pounds and have gained a wealth of confidence and energy.
