Very knowledgeable and sincere

I went to the VA ER for dizzy spells he ended up fusing my neck great surgeon totally trust him.

Dr. Hawkins is very professional and kind. Listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. All the office staff was Amazing.

Dr Hawkins is a very caring, knowledgeable doctor. He is not one who rushes into invasive measures. He listens to his patients symptoms and concerns. He is compassionate to their needs.

Dr. Hawkins explained my situation clearly and recommended a course of action including physical therapy.

I went in for a visit with Dr. Hawkins for my neck. He answered all my questions and was concerned with helping to solve the issues I am having. Got an x-ray in office the staff there was very friendly and helpful and will follow up with MRI. Dr Hawkins was very knowledgable nice in making sure I am taken care of. Thank You Dr. Hawkins

Do NOT go to this Dr. His staff his horrible, they tell you one thing and do another. They don't return phone calls. Dr Hawkins clearly has enough patients because he obviously doesnt care about a new one. Worst experience ever had.

Dr. Hawkins was awesome and projected what I needed after review of my ex-rays before he even came in to see me!

Just had surgery this morning around 800am. The pain that radiated from my lower back down my right leg is gone. Just a little post surgery pain to deal with no big deal. I just wanted to thank Dr. Hawkins and his team for the hard work and professionalism.

Lower back surgery Apr 2017. Playing golf 3-4 days a week. Absolutely fantastic surgeon.

Love love love Dr Hawkins.. he is a great doctor. Treating my husband for over a year now.. very sweet and friendly. He knows exactly how to do the job right.. best doctor in Arizona... we trust him and highly recommend him..

I fell and injured my hip and tore a muscle in my leg. I was barely able to walk. Dr. Hawkins had me healthy again in a month or so. He is very proficient in spinal injections to the point I barely felt the treatment. He and his staff are great. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr Hawkins is an EXCELLENT surgeon. He put in an artificial replacement disc L5-S1 and several yrs later a metal plate & screws in my neck. After MUCH research, he is the ONLY surgeon I would ever trust to touch me. This man is 2 for 2 in my book. He has the best bedside manner, he is honest and upfront..he will tell you, show you exactly what is going on and why. Do your research on him...you will be pleasantly surprised at his extensive background and his flawless reputation! A gift from God!

This is not an indictment of Dr. Hawkins, because we never got to see him, or of Dr. Brainard, who was very kind, but instead of the office staff who were not only very rude and condescending, but who also provided inaccurate and contradictory instructions, insisted we bring films with us, and then told us they were not necessary after running around gathering them. They behaved as if the patients are an imposition. Office staff can make or break a practice, and this is a disaster In the making.

Excellent surgeon, my diagnosis and outcome was exactly as he stated if I followed his directions. My outcome and experience exceeded my expectations! After nearly 30 years of back pain and almost 2 years after my microdiscectomy, my back had never felt better! Great office staff as well.
