Dr. James R. Hannigan

Dr. Hannigan is the best optometrist I have ever seen. I have been to many doctors over the years, but he is the best.

My family has been going to Dr. Hannigan since 1998. From my daughter's eyes, to my 83 year old father, he has the answers. Love this guy!

I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to recommend someone or even something, but Dr. Hannigan and his office are truly the best on all levels. Fantastically skilled optometrist, nicest guy, has a great staff, just the absolute best. I asked for his opinion on Lasik and he brought me to the best, and it more than exceeded expectations. His office was also very vigilant in my recovery to make sure everything went well, which it more than did. Best investment I have ever made, thanks Dr. Hannigan! Dr. Hannibal is awesome. I love how he discusses your eyes and vision...not just the exam and out.

Dr. Hannigan is the best eye Dr. I have ever had the pleasure to know. He is brilliant and you would be fortunate to have him for your eye doctor. I am 60 years old and I have seen a lot of eye doctors in my days. Most simply just go through the motions. But Dr. Hannigan gets straight to the root cause of your issue and immediately drives to solution space. He is an artist in his approach while he leverages his vast knowledge base to diagnose your exact condition.

Dr Hannigan is the definition of Professionalism! He takes a complete look at your entire eye health! When I leave his office I am always relieved that I know the status of my vision!

Dr. Hannigan is very thorough and spends a lot of time with the patient explaining and going over test results and options. I have total confidence in his eye care.

I have used Dr. Hannigan for years. I have accute astigmatism and Dr. Hannigan is the only optomitrist that has been able to fir me with contacts that not only allow me to see, but are very comfortable. He is very patient friendly as is his staff.

I’ve been going to Dr. Hannigan since he had an office in G’town. He’s fanatically professional and wholly dedicated to improving the vision of his clientele. It’s always a joy visiting with him during routine appointments. Wish more in the medical field exhibited his enthusiasm.

With so much experience I have never had a Doctor explain in such detail and care. Dr Hannigan is a true pro and I feel so fortunate to have found him. The optician Daniel was so knowledgeable as well and made picking out frames fun at the same time. Great choices and reasonable prices. The office staff was very professional yet warm and friendly.

This gentle old fashioned doctor is a breath of fresh air! Can’t get over his kind, attentive, and compassionate care! He also communicates effectively and understandably and is knowledgeable regarding my rare condition. This is how medical care should be!!! We did have to wait, but they graciously worked us in for our emergency. So very grateful to find someone in my town who gives excellent service!

Wonderful doctor and staff!

Dr. Hannigan is a wonderful doctor and he knows what he is doing . The staff is excellent and very courteous also.

We took our daughter who was very anxious to see Dr. Hannigan. She was immediately relieved and did great with the amazing staff! Our whole family has gone here and a positive experience every time. Would reccomend for all ages!

I have been a patient for several years. I have always had very good care. Dr Hannigan takes the time to find the best contact lens correction for me. The entire staff is very kind and caring.

Dr. Hannigan is the most knowledgable and caring eye doctor our family has ever encountered. We have been to many over the years, in different parts of the country and I can say with confidence that there was no one who was more knowledgeable ,compassionate or patient than Dr. Hannigan. He is a true blessing!

Best eye doctor in the world!

Dr. Hannigan was fantastic! He was so thorough and patient. Dr. Hannigan put me at ease and made my first visit to this establishment the best eye doctor visit I have ever had. No lie. He answered all of my questions and really cared about my vision. The entire staff was nothing short of amazing. Quite simply I would never hesitate to recommend Liberty Hill Eye Associates to anyone.

I have been to many eye doctors / ophthalmologists in my life, and Dr. Hannigan is superb! He takes the time to solve my vision problems. I heard that he helped to develop the gas permeable contacts that I wore, and hoped he could transition me to soft contacts. He did that AND got me the best lens prescriptions so I can see now better than ever! He is also a Opthamologist so I could do all my exams with him! Thank you for being so professional and amazing! Highly recommended.
