Dr. James J Gift

was referred to this friendly office. In 2021 Dr. Gift's assistant falsely said I had high BP so had to waste time getting to my doc to get pills. Then to find Dr. Gift didn't accept Humana so had to pay out of pocket and was left with a 2 space gaping hole (for near 2 years now). When ins was updated I called again to have a tooth pulled but his office said he didn't have Humana and didn't want to make more money.

I have had 3 wisdom teeth removed from Dr. Gift on two occasions. It went well. I honestly felt minimum discomfort. Both times I had surgery with him he gave me the right amount of medications so I didn't feel anything during the procedure. He is the man. He has been doing this for 30 plus years. The staff is nice and always were there to help me. Just make sure you are ready before the surgery. Get your meds, your food and everything for recovery.

I had a wonderful experience today! I had a molar extracted that had previously had a failed root canal at another clinic. After two months trying to save that tooth by the endodontics dr, I knew the inevitable was to have this extraction. I met with Dr. James Gift the day before the procedure and he was very thorough and very detailed in his explanation. He answered all my questions! His staff was very welcoming and very compassionate. From the time I arrived till I was brought back out to my driver, maybe 20 minutes total! I had IV sedation and everything went smooth. Hands-down the best oral surgeon I've had to deal with! Enclosed a pic of the waiting area for your family. Whoever did their interior designing did an amazing job! Dr. Gift removed my wisdom teeth this morning and I seem to be recovering quite smoothly already. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming as well. They were very detailed and reassuring about everything and then Dr. Gift went into further detail about the surgery as well. Dr. Gift is a an excellent communicator and a very knowledgeable Physician who prioritizes the well-being of his patients not only in his office, but makes sure they will be healthy and okay after leaving his office as well. I had an extremely positive experience with my recent tooth extraction. Dr. Gift is an incredible surgeon, and the staff was helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I was expecting to have extreme pain after my surgery, but I have had none and no swelling! I was especially blown away when Dr. Gift called me in the evening after my surgery. I am so glad I was referred to Florida Facial Surgery Center and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Collecting me for 50 bucks for an xray their office took to which I was told would be covered misleading me to believe I wouldn't owe. Week prior had same xrays done to which Dr. Gift's office stated would coordinate to obtain. They didnt and essentially billed me for their falsehoods and misleading. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to see this office as they will mislead you and try to mess your credit up if you dont pay to them after they mislead. Equifax dispute created and if that doesnt work I'll be ok with a 766 credit score and informing people about my experience to allow for transparency for how I was treated as just an initial visit. 0 stars if I could.

Dr. gift is a very skilled and professional dental surgeon, he removed my impacted wisdom tooth without any pain or stress, also his office assistants were very helpful, friendly and professional, and to add to all of this, the office was very neat and the bathrooms were clean. Dr. gift even called me the night after the surgery to ask how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. gift to anyone needing dental surgery. Bruce Clancy

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Dr. Gift and his staff were very thorough in explaining my wisdom teeth extraction procedure, they answered all my questions and helped to also alleviate my mother's concerns. The procedure was a success with very little pain and typical swelling after, but no complications. I absolutely hate dentist, I've always been super nervous. But when it comes to Dr. Gift, he truly is amazing! I had to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled and a molar. I was put too sleep and the whole procedure took about 30 minutes, not even. Dr. Gift called me the night of the surgery to check on me. As well as a nurse did the next morning. I never swelled up or had any dry sockets. I highly recommend this Dr and his staff, they all were truly amazing! Office was super nice too! Loved this place!

I work in surgery so I judge harsh...this office was amazing...fast, capable and courteous. I wish Dr Gift was a regular Dentist so I could see him all the time!.. They called the eve of surgery to see if I was ok as well as the next day. Great service and a Perfect surgical team!

I just had oral surgery to remove 3 wisdom teeth on Friday February 5, 2016 and I was a nervous wreck before. The staff was very caring and made sure that I was OK. The next day, I received a follow up call from Dr Gift himself to check on me and make sure I was doing OK. That was awesome service and I would definitely recommend him to others. I have always been afraid of the dentist and Dr Gift and his staff made my experience the best. Thank you all so much. -Felicia
