Dr. Garrison is a top notch surgeon!!! My daughter used to be a nurse at Methodist main cardiovascular intensive care unit and what she remembered most about Dr. Garrison is that his patients never had any problems. Same for my husband who is recovering beautifully from open-heart surgery with two repairs performed by Dr. Garrison! Dr. Garrison’s staff is also amazing! Barbara R. Started us off with timely, detailed, and precise instructions for our follow-up appointment! Mariana C. Had us chuckling as she cheerfully checked his vitals and prepared us to see the physician’s assistant. Dr. Taka was cheerful and helpful and took care of all of our questions and our needs! Christine B. made us feel welcome and at home even though we, being from a small town, completely forgot to bring our masks.????????‍♀️ I had a few questions for her when we first got there which she answered expertly and very kindly! Open heart surgery is a scary ordeal. Dr. Garrison’s skill and expertise are a blessing and an answer to prayer! We are also grateful for a staff that is ready and willing to help if a problem arises! Dr. Garrison is a top notch surgeon!!! I had an Aortic Valve Transplant Surgery and Dr. James Garrison performed an excellent Cardiac Surgery job!. He is thoughtful, caring, experienced and extremely knowledgeable about cardiac surgery and care. He was like an angel entering my hospital room when he came to assess my condition. He came across very assuring and confident that everything will be fine. He was sent by God Almighty to take care of me during such a difficult time in my life. May he be blessed always!!! My husband had bypass surgery performed by Dr Garrison and did very well. When I was informed that I would need surgery, and my cardiologist mentioned someone else, I told him that I wanted Doctor Garrison. I was so happy to see him walk into my room.
