James Ferris Ganem

Assistants and reception are wonderful. James Ganem was short and rude. After I started tearing up, he told me swiftly, firmly, and with zero compassion that I need to stop crying. Upon his exit, he, again, told me to stop crying and that “I’m not as strong as I think I am.” Prior to his entrance into my appointment with him, he shouted to someone in the hall “you’re going to make me late to golf.” Hopefully, he made it on time.

Three years ago, my husband came in to Dr. Ganem’s office with serious symptoms. Dr. Ganem listened to our concerns, and quickly took the appropriate steps to get my husband into the hospital, where my husband ended up having an emergency triple bypass. Dr. Ganem literally saved my husband’s life! Thank you so much, Dr. Ganem! We appreciate you and all the effort and hard work you and your staff put into taking excellent care of your patients! ! You’re the best!

Dr. Ganem evaluated my 90- year-old mother when she was extraordinarily fatigued and weak. He was patient, kind, articulate, and most importantly, extremely thorough. He was determined to help her, and he did. We are grateful for this doctor! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a knowledgeable doctor who really cares.

Went to see Dr. Ganem for low BP 96/52 and lightheaded/dizziness. Filled out paperwork stating my complaints. He said he saw no reason to see me because my HR and EKG were fine. I asked about my BP and he had no idea what it even was, once I pointed it out then he seemed concerned. I felt like I wasted his time and mine since he didn’t look at my paperwork or the BP his nurse took before seeing me. My appointment was on February 1st, I have not gone back to him. My cardiologist.. very good doctor

Dr Ganem was intimidating. I don’t believe he was prepared discuss my medical condition, didn’t even bring my chart or a simple pad in with him. I will not go back.

I saw Dr. Ganem for his vein institute, not cardio. I did have an US done in January on my legs of this year but never went back to have any procedures done/had procedures done at previous docs but didn't make any difference. He was very rude and stood with his arms folded in from of him near the door to the room and when I explained why I was there, (problems with rt. leg-swelling since 5/19) and was suggested I see a vein doc which is why I was there. He would not look at my leg and said I needed another US and problems with leg was veins not nerves as the first doc had told me - could be either of them he had said. Explained why I was there but didn't help matters. I WILL not see him for my leg pains. Will find another vascular doc and go from there. Might be OK as a cardio but I don't see him for that.

The staff is great and make sure you are fully aware and informed. They do their best to make sure you are seen at the time of your appointment.

Dr. Ganem did a great job on my varicose veins. He was very professional, and the procedure was quick and painless. I was very comfortable with him and his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Ganem.

Will soon celebrate 15 years that Dr. Ganem saved my husband's life from a heart attack. We will always be very grateful for his devotion.

did not know i was having stroke 4 1/2 years ago after he gave me a stent cannot walk, have hand tremors, too many other things to mention here.

My visits to Dr. Ganem's office have been more than a few times for various care. Dr. Ganem and his staff are the best at every aspect of the profession they are caring for. If you truly seek a professional caring Doctor of Cardiology and vascular issues make your first appointment and see for your self the care from this office.

An excellent cardiologist. He found my hemoglobin and platelets were extremely low which got me a stay in the hospital. Today found a possible 5 heart attack for me...His entire staff is excellent also.

Dr. Ganem has been my Cardiologist for 15 years. I am happy with him as my heart doctor, and with the care I continue to receive.

I would highly recommend Dr Ganem. I have had a few cardiologist in the past and he is by far my favorite! Very thorough and personable and if I were to ever need surgery, he is the one I would trust. My brother has heart disease and Dr. Ganem has placed stints in my brother's heart 3 separate times and each time my brother had no issues post surgery and healed very quickly. Overall my experience at East Valley Cardiology has been wonderful and the staff is efficient and friendly. Great office, great doctors. A+++ I would highly recommend Dr Ganem. The Best Cardiologist....Ever! And his staff is pretty amazing too. From the reception area to the echocardiogram & stress tests, the doctor and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The stress test usually makes me anxious but at Dr. Ganem's office, the staff member is incredibly calm, caring, and explained each step of the test. I was not anxious at all! Dr. Ganem is a doctor who truly cares about me and you can not ask for more than that!

I've been very happy with the consistent, caring and reliable care that my 87-yr old mom has received from Dr. Ganem and his staff these last few years. Dr Ganem performed my leg vein occlusion two years ago. I have not had as much ankle swelling nor foot cramping since prpcedure was done. The sores have cleared up also..

I have found Dr Ganem and his staff to be very efficient at processing everything from appointments to procedures and studies to phone calls with results to processing prescriptions and return calls. There is a general air of pleasantness and appreciation for your selection of them as your source of care. Dr Ganem is knowledgeable, well balanced in terms of ordering test vs not needing them, logical in his thinking and decision making. He does all this while communicating effectively.

Doctor Ganem and his staff are courteous and take an active part in my healthcare. Staff at East Valley Cardiology all have excellent code of ethics and deal with the patients with compassion and respect, while remaining firm in dealing with my cardiac health care.

Dr. Ganem has taken VERY good care of my husband who had serious issues. He addressed those issues and today, my husband is doing wonderfully. Every member of his office staff is superb, efficient helpful & pleasant. The technicians who administer tests are proficient, making you feel you are in good hands. Yes, I would definitely recommend Dr. Ganem

Both my husband and I had RFA on both legs for varicose vein procedure. We are very pleased with the outcome. Thank you Dr. Ganem for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Ganem has an excellent "bedside manner" and I like the fact that he took all the time necessary to answer all my questions in detail.

My arrythmia attacks began shortly before 2000. Dr. Ganem has effectively gotten and kept them under control at least as well as I could have expected. He also recently conducted the endovenous radiofrequency ablation procedure which already has me walking much better now.

Has been my cardiologist since 1992. Always available when needed and would highly recommend Dr Ganem.

Dr. Ganem was very personable and seem to acknowledge my concerns. He explained medical terminology. He presented himself to be trustworthy and caring. He was not rushed to complete the visit so that he could move on to the next patient. This definitely impressed me and the not waiting long periods of time to be seen. Finally, his assurance of availibility was the Ace in the hole.

Office staff are excellent! Called me immediately upon receiving my referral and scheduled me for the following day. Dr. is to the point and no bs. All follow-up appointments scheduled promptly.
