All I can say is that he’s retired and he needs to stay that way imo. I’ve been on meds for ADHD for years, I went through a lot of angst about it but finally came to the fact that I need them. Drs changed and the first thing he did was to try to take me off my meds. Reason: he didn’t want to face the audit that the meds would trigger. No regard for me at all. If I could give less than 1, I would. Gave him 5 years to help me and he just didn't seem like he even cared. I'm not going into all my business, but I will just say that I do not recommend him...at all!

The worst psychiatric professional to ever exist. He shouldn’t even be allowed to see patients. Never helped or even seemed to care, and as soon as I left him I found a doctor who helped immediately. My life has changed for the better since I’ve stopped seeing James Gamble. I finally have gotten an accurate diagnoses and found a true psychiatrist who actually cares and wants to help. I saw Dr. Gamble for several years due to my insurance. I'm bipolar and was not doing well. He would jerk me off medication and put me on something else, without any explanation. My husband took me to another psychiatrist and ended up in the hospital for a week! Gamble had my meds all mixed up! He doesn't listen and is arrogant.

I've seen mutiple psych docs over 15 yrs of being schizoaffective and Dr. Gamble is a horrible person, doctor and worst I've ever seen. I desperately needed my anti psychotic medication, but he wouldn't give it to me and said get out. I asked for a referral he said no, and even tho its been years since I've seen him, I hate this man. No compassion, no heart, and certainly not a good psychiatrist. Zero rating. Never heard anything good about him especially being a psychiatrist , most at mental health center are not expierenced or lack people skills or just no life experience , I believe they came help a twenty something get on the right track but for older gentleman no they do harm than good , they are not completely useless they can treat schizophrenia with medicine but provide any stability they can't because they constantly swap a sick person meds around or they use to , keep everyone on edge an wary about what comes next in their session so most past an present clients usually don't look forward to their sessions afraid their meds will be changed or cut off.
