Dr. F is wonderful. The receptionist is also great. It’s the nurses or physician’s assistants that need a major attitude adjustment.

Dr. Forsen has the worst bedside manner of any pediatric Dr. We have ever seen! The most rude and arrogant man.

Staff was extremely rude and they refused to see my sons after having me fill out packets of new patient paperwork. Even after my children’s doctor called them and they told the doctor they could be seen. When we walked in the office they told me we would not be able to be seen because THEY caused us to miss our appointment time.

Dr. Forsen is very knowledgeable, friendly with kids, patience. He took his time to explain all of the options for my son’s broken nose. He called 3 specialist till he was able to get my son in with one of them. I highly recommend Dr. Forsen

Dr Forsen was fine but his billing department literally lied to us and took an additional 250 dollar copay we had already paid. When I complained to the billing specialist, she didn’t care and just told me that it wasn’t her fault. She also spoke over me the entire conversation. Dr. Forsen was very nice, his staff was an absolute atrocity. Do not go here only to avoid a careless staff that will be little to no help during the follow up.

Dr. Forsen was a good surgeon but my initial meeting to diagnose the need for surgery (extraction of an ear tube that had been in place too long) was rushed. He seemed annoyed that I questioned the need for surgery and wanted to know why she needed surgery. We originally had the ear tubes put in place with his office but my follow up to get the ear tubes removed was deemed a "new patient" visit since it had been a certain amount of time (years) between visits. Therefore I was charged more for a quick appointment that I was rushed through. The billing department and appointment line are very difficult to get in touch with. I know Dr. Forsen has a good reputation but be prepared for a poor office and billing experience. Also come prepared to any appointments with your questions and don't leave until you are comfortable your questions were answered.

Dr. Forsen has been great with our daughter and has done follow up with us above and beyond any Dr. we have ever seen.

I saw Dr Forsen for my daughter's ears. He is a great Dr, examined her very thoroughly, took his time asking and answering questions. Advised me to get her a surgery when it's really needed. Really liked the interactions and cares that he provided. This was after seeing an another ENT specialist in St. Charles who took less than 1 min look at my daughter and told us to schedule a surgery. What a difference a great doctor will make! Dr Forsen is great. His office is not.Office is way too small. Standing room only when i got here. Waited 1 hour past appt time. Very frustrating.

Our 1 year old fell with a toothbrush in his mouth and put a large gash in the roof of his mouth. Our pediatrician referred us to Forsen. He fit us into his schedule after our pediatrician called and told them that we were headed that way. He clearly knew what he was doing, and explained evertyhing very well. Him and the office worked very fast to ensure that he could do surgery on our son that evening. The surgery went really well, and our son is making a great recovery! I credit Dr. James Forsen with saving my child's life. She was floating around for three months in the health care system going from Dr. to Dr. misdiagnosed. He was savvy enough to recognize a rare disease that 1 in 1 million kids get. He had only seen this one time in 30 years. We would have taken the wrong course of treatment with a disease that kills people in 6 months. I can't give him enough kudos.

I credit Dr. Forsen with saving my child's life. She was floating around for 3 months in the health care system going from Dr. to Dr. undiagnosed. He recognized a rare disease that 1 in 1 million kids get and that he had only see 1 time before in 30 years. We would have taken the wrong course of treatment otherwise, with a disease that can kill children in 6 months. I can't give him enough kudos. I credit Dr. Forsen with saving my child's life. Dr. Forsen has always recognized and remembered us when we come in to see him. Both of my children have seen him, one from the tender age of 5 days old to now 5 years. He is so great with my children and takes the time to explain what is happening and why and the next steps. He also takes the time to ask if 'mom or dad' have any questions which is amazing in this age of rushing doctors

I brought my 4-year old son to see Dr. Forsen. He is absolutely wonderful! He 'clicked' with my son right away, made him at ease, had wonderful bedside manner in general. I would recommend him in a heart beat. It is not everyday that you see a physician so caring and personable.

After my 4 year old had her tonsils taken out, he was in the surgery center the whole day. He, himself, even called 2 days after to check on her!!! He has always taken his time with us, to explain, and to answer all of our questions. He is so compassionate to the kids. His staff has always been more than friendly, and very helpful!

Our daughter was born with a birth defect...and Dr. Forsen was the first and only ENT we saw (with the exception of the other doctors in the office on rare occassion - weekends/emergencies). He spent time explaining to us what was happening, empathisizing with us, he even came into the hospital to check on her when he had his kids and he was not the on-call doctor.
