Dr. James W Fleshman JR.

Dr. Fleshman gave me my life back! I had a 3 part surgery that involves colon removal and jpouch construction. I have recommended him to several people I know with UC. I am so thankful for him. So knowledgeable and so attentive to detail. He is kind and caring! I am overwhelmed with gratitude! Thankful that he became a surgeon! He has changed the lives of many!

Dr Fleshman was my main physician at Barnes Jewish in St Lewis. I had UC and needed total colectomy and jpouch. He resided over 3 other surgeons to accomplish this. He was involved in a charitable rotation of the hospital to aid those without insurance...me. I was lucky and got him. 23 years later, no problems and continued on with my life. He is an awesome doctor. You're blessed if you get him!!

I was a patient of Dr Fleshman while he was in St Louis, he is an exceptional physician and saved my life. I have been searching for a replacement but it is hard to find such an experienced docor.

Dr. Fleshman is the ultimate physician/surgeon in every sense of the word. Warm caring demeanor, awesome listener, exudes calmness, removes anxiety that communicates his extensive knowledge and great successes. There's none better.
