Dr Ellis took the time to understand the history of the problem, explained things well, and gave great advice on possible diet and exercise changes that could play a role in maintaining my function in the future. I have been to multiple doctors and Dr. Ellis was the first one who gave clear concise answers.

No new info about my chronic condition called Neuropathy....will start bi-weekly Physical Therapy on 4-12-23 for 10 weeks

Dr. Ellis listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. When finished with my ECG he explained everything and said he would pass the info to my doctor. He is friendly and very easy to talk to. Highly recommend him.

I’m not sure if Dr. Ellis was having a bad day, but the care and treatment I received for an EMG of my left hand for carpal tunnel syndrome was less than stellar. Dr. Ellis was rough and his attitude toward me was demeaning, as if I purposely caused my carpal tunnel syndrome. I never felt seen as a patient with feelings or intelligence, just a check on his to do box at 9:30 on a Monday morning. I will never allow myself to have another EMG at OAM, I will seek out a provider at Spectrum Health if I need one in the future.

Even though he pushed on my lower back and tailbone and I almost came unglued on him, he knows what he’s doing. I appreciate that he didn’t keep doing it!!! I believe I will be seeing him again and I do recommend him to whoever needs a spinel specialist.

I have been a patient of Dr Ellis for over 10 years. I’ve had a long gap in years where I did not have to see him, but when I had an appointment recently it was like we picked right up where we left off. Dr Ellis has always listened carefully to my concerns and has recommended me to the best Dr’s for my situation. He never makes me feel like I’m being rushed, he answers all my questions and I leave feeling like he cares.

Dr. Ellis was thorough, asked many questions, listened & offered up multiple solutions. Hard to find a Dr. that gives you time in your appointment. Appreciate him so much.

For once in almost 2 years I have HOPE that maybe solutions will be found. Dr Ellis took notes, said he’d study them, make some calls, and made suggestions to my PT. I hope i am not overreaching to be hopeful!

I like this office because they make you feel comfortable and they take time to answer your questions, they are not pushy on treatments and they explain both sides. I would highly recommend this office to those who need their treatments.

Dr. Ellis was thorough, professional, and personable. After conducting several tests, he discussed his findings, provided insight and advice. Additionally, he took care of several referrals regarding additional care.

Dr. Ellis is personable, friendly and a great communicator. He made sure to ask questions and allowed me to do the same. I never felt rushed in and out of his office. He treated me like a person and not a problem. Nothing but nice things to say about my visits with him and his staff.

I was able to schedule an appointment right away after my referral, and though the office was quite busy, I did not have to wait long at all to see Dr Ellis for my afternoon appointment. He was very kind and asked a lot of questions. His explanations were thoughtful and the course of treatment he recommended made sense to me. He was thorough and never acted rushed. I think I have found a very good and capable doctor for my back issues!

I was both concerned about potential results and not looking forward to the test itself. Dr. Ellis kept up conversation to occupy my mind and was so kind in doing so. He was not rushed and I left with complete confidence in him. I appreciate his time and compassion.

Very professional and helpful doctor didn't just go bye x-ray he went bye what I also said help me understand some of the concerns

Dr. Ellis listened to my issues and offered procedures that may help with those issues. Starting with medication and therapy. Before any thoughts of surgery.

He did a good job of explaining what was next. Not a fun job but he did it well.

Besides running 30 minutes behind which I was told about when they called to check me in. DR. ELLIS is friendly, caring and does a good job explaining things. Very thorough on treatment plan and next steps.

Dr Ellis was great. He is the first Dr to actually listen to what is going and made sure I understood my options. Never tried to push me one way or another on decision with my health. I was actually impressed.

Dr. Ellis took time to listen to my health history and current concerns. He was very informative of the testing he ordered to obtain a correct diagnosis. I was very irritated that his office didn't inform me earlier that he was running 45 min. late.

I saw Dr. Ellis for a nerve study. I had many questions about the procedure and process and let him know that I was quite anxious. He was thorough in his explanation, patient with my barrage of questions and went through my situation and injury in a careful and precise way. He had his findings to my doctor within a few minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience and would highly recommend Dr. Ellis

Dr. Ellis is great. He’s the real deal if you’re having back issues. Very knowledgeable and gets the ball rolling to resolve the problem. So happy I went with him, I finally feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Dr. Ellis was very professional and personable. He showed compassion towards my situation and pain. He did everything he could to make me more comfortable with my pain till I can get my hip replaced. Dr Ellis is fantastic at giving knee injections. I never have to wait a long time and I really feel like he cares.

Dr. Ellis is personable and I thought to the point. No nonsense, no sugar coating, but he sought out solutions!

I appreciated that Dr. Ellis first took time to discuss my back issue and then he took time to talk with me about it, and explained his reasoning for the treatment he was recommending. That made me feel comfortable about pursuing that option. He also discussed future treatment options that would be available to me if necessary.

30 minute wait after being called into the building. The nurse that called me in never said hello or asked how I was doing. Just followed her to exam room, she asked a few questions then left. Dr Ellis was in pretty quick after that. Said hello but then never talked. I tried to make small talk to take my mind off of the nerve test, it is painful, but he never answered back or attempted to put me at ease. He started the electro shocks without warning. He did tell me before the needle test I would feel a poke. I am sure he knows what he is doing and as a doctor I would give him a good rating, but the entire office was like being in a morgue. Not one friendly person. It just made me feel unimportant and that it was a hassle to have me there.
