Buffalo Neurosurgery Group is the absolute best move that you will ever make for yourself if you find yourself suffering and cannot find relief whatsoever. Dr. Egnatchick is an excellent dr. And surgeon. I have complete confidence in him. His office is wonderful to deal with.

I was in my mid to late 20's feeling hopeless about my future because of spinal problems at such a young age. Dr. Egnatchik did an amazing job with my herniated disk (L4-L5). I've been able to actually enjoy life the past 3 years since surgery and I'm very thankful for how the surgery turned out. This man and his team know what they are doing. Good luck to everyone looking for relief.

Absolutely Amazing Surgeon & Incredible Surgical Staff!!! Dr Egnatchik not only operated on my spine personally and gave me my life back...but also him and his incredible staff are going above and beyond to aid my husband to be, regain mobility and strength again to live a normal life. The doctors and staff are fantastic and the care is top notch. I would recommend the group to anyone needing help with their back or neck.

Of course before choosing a good neurosurgeon You do your homework ! It’s a big decision! Dr Egnatchic was always highly recommended by everyone , I did my hone work . I was 45 and had both neck and back surgeries with Dr Egnatchic , if not for him I would have been in a wheelchair by 50 I’m now 65 , 20 years later... enjoying long walks on a beach with my grandchildren. I can honestly say that Dr. Egnatchik is the best doctor I have ever had. He is extremely thorough and doesn’t jump to surgery right away like many surgeons have a tendency to do. I ended up needing a discectomy of my lumbar spine and it was my first surgery. His staff is great and helped make the process as smooth as possible. Not only is Egnatchik an amazing surgeon, but also very personable and attentive to his patients. He helped me get my life back after suffering in pain for many years. If you’re even considering surgery, I would highly recommend him! I can honestly say that Dr. Egnatchik is the best doctor I have ever had. Awful human being...in my opinion, he cost me my social security disability by not being truthful about my case, my symptoms, and even the extent of my spine issues. I repeatedly told him I was having mid back and lower back pain, and he ignored me, trying to rush me into having a three level fusion in my neck. I ended up having a total of sixteen herniated discs in my spine, and three other surgeons / neurologists said that if I would have had the surgery, it would have most likely failed and caused me more problems, because the discs above and below where he wanted to perform the fusion were also herniated. I now see a surgeon and neurologist who actually care about their patients and listen to their concerns. I am so glad that I did not let this man perform any kind of surgery on my spine, and thankful that I listened to my intuitions about this whole scenario. I had L5-S1 fusion in nov. I have had no problems really since the surgery and I'm recovering well. Dr. Egnatchik didnt push for the surgery he told me it was up to me. But it would improve my daily living and help with the pain in was in every day. My husband also had the same surgery 10 years ago by same dr.

My wife Sue had a brain tumor and was operated on August of 2014. Dr Egnatchik my wifes life!! Great staff, and she loves the doctor. The best neurosurgeon you could ever want. My wife is living proof!

Wouldnt let any other Dr touch my back

Excellent surgeon and friendly, compassionate staff. I'm scheduling my second back surgery now and won't go to anyone else.

Dr. Egnatchik has done all of my surgeries starting with my decompression surgery dealing with my Chiari Malformation back in 2015. Along with many surgeries following due to my pseudotumor, syringomyelia and syringobulbia. Including a few spinal leaks and the placement of my VP shunt. If it wasn't for him, I would not be here today, he is beyond wonderful. He explains everything and is very straight forward, I have always felt comfortable knowing I'm in the best care with him. His office staff are always very friendly and helpful as well. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. For being highly recommended, the staffing and scheduling are going to hurt you. As I sit waiting I have heard several other patients voice disgust with 1+ hour waiting while sitting in chairs with whatever alignments they suffer. This needs to be addressed or your case load will get much lighter. Messages are seldomly given to Dr or PA with concerns and when the office calls to reschedule it should not take months due to 1 office day. Your only as good as the staff you have working for you!

Best Doctor ever! Very happy with my results from back surgery, great staff.

Dr. Egnatchik and his staff are amazing! He saved my husbands life! They never lost hope in him even when everyone else did. I am forever grateful to God for them. If you can’t see the doctor in the office, ask to see the nurse practitioner Kayla. She is a sweetheart and smart as a whip! Highly highly recommend

Dr. Egnatchik does seem to have the best reputation of any neurosurgeon in the Buffalo area I believed him when he recommended a cervical anterior fusion saying that my current situation was "dangerous". Maybe it was but I am in daily, off the charts pain now. The most important thing to remember is that after the surgery they are finished with you. PAs are extremely rude. Office staff is also rude and curt with the exception of Dawn who is an angel. Can't figure out why she works there.

I have had three different surgeries with Dr. Egnatchik over the last 15 years, all separate issues. I found Dr. E to be very compassionate, yet straight forward about my conditions. He is not 'quick to cut' and did only what was necessary to allow me a better quality of life. I am very happy to say that all three surgeries were 100% successful and that I am able to function, work and participate in all the recreational activities that I did before I ever developed any physical problems.

Best office staff, P.A. and doctor I have ever been too. Everyone is beyond friendly and makes you feel at ease when going through something that isn't so easy. They have worked with me to get me a primary dr and to get me cleared for surgery! I highly suggest if your having back surgery to make sure you are this doctor first before you make a decision!! Saved my life. Prevented live in a wheelchair, helped me through surgery to walk correctly, use my hands, feel again. The most gifted, talented doctor ever. Did I also mention that Joanne is amazing and staff is the best!
