Where do I begin...Dr. Clayton first saw my son in the NICU at INOVA Fairfax and 8 years later we continue to see him. He is an OUTSTANDING doctor and truly loves what he does. He takes the time to actually listen to my concerns and questions as a parent...I’ve never felt rushed as I do with many other doctors. My special needs son has outgrown his chronic condition because of the precautionary medications and recommendations we followed under his care. He is the BEST!!!

I've been taking my daughter to see Dr clayton for 9 years. Hes great. Really cares about his patients, and listens to the parents. He really sets the standards for a Dr. We love Dr clayton.

The best provider in the US, he truly cares and you feel he's not in this business for the money but he loves what he does and he does care more about the patients. We are lucky !

He's the best. Listens when's you talk. And looks at the big picture.

Dr. Clayton sets the standard by which all other pediatric specialists are measured. Truly an extraordinary physician and one of the most compassionate, caring human beings I've ever met. He cared for my micro-preemie daughter for 16+ years. We had many years of difficulties and emergencies. Dr. Clayton and his colleagues and his staff, especially CNP Patti, were unfailingly responsive and supportive. Clinically there is no one stronger, and no other practice I would consider in Northern VA.

Dr. James Clayton is the best Doctor in us.. my son is diagnose with asthma since he was 2 years old know 12 i have never felt confidence my son will be okay Dr. James very caring very professional .I THANK Dr. JAMES AND THE STAF FROM THE BOTTEM OF MY HART!!!

Calling a medical records department can be very aggravating & time consuming. many forms and documents need to be filled out, it can easily get frustrating. My experience was the complete opposite .With that said Grace in the medical records department has been nothing but helpful & has made this request overall effortless. She directed me to specific forms & answered any questions I had on spot without any hesitation. We need more of these characteristics in this field of work !

Let me begin by saying, my daughter will not see anyone else. I have never encountered a physician who illustrates compassion and a true understanding of the definition, physician. I have a daughter with SMA. The first time she as hospitalized with pneummonia, 3am, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Dr Clayton sat with me holding my daughters hand and assured me she would make it through this. I will never forget that.
