Dr. Altieri is our family doctor. He is very compassionate, caring,detailed oriented and has a great sense of humor. He works to get to the root of the problem vs just giving you a prescription to mask the problem. With all that we have had going on with our family, I told him to be ready to be a part of documentary for our family. Starting with the birth of our sons, until this present time, as they have been student athletes in high school and college, we can't make up the things that have happened. Thank God for Dr. Altieri. He is definitely a vessel that God placed in our lives to help us "be strong and of good courage", as our physical bodies have been in despair. Dr. Altieri is our family doctor. Wonderful Doctor! Takes time with his patients and really listens. He also explains medications and medical issues to his patients instead of just prescribing meds and moving them out the door. I would highly recommend Dr. Altieri!

Always takes the time to talk to you, listen to you, and explain the 'what and why' of treatment.

My wife and I are both retired, Our families live in the west and northwest parts of the country. Because of Dr Altieri we had to tell the kids that the last Doctor we will ever have is in Columbia. If possible, maybe the Doctor can relocate to some place like Colorado Springs we would consider moving then. To Colorado Springs.

Dr Altieri is a wonderful and compassionate physician. Our family has been seeing him for over 15 years. If it were not for this physician, I would be seeking another primary care practice. The challenge is the staff with little understanding of the meaning of what constitutes a medical home. They are so stuck on the steps to delivering care they have lost sight of the meaning of the reason the practice exits - to meet patient needs. This starts with listening.

I LOVE Dr. Altieri. I have been going to him for over 15 years and would never go to anyone else. Since being bought by Lexington Hospital, the staff and the rest of the office have gone totally downhill. I have no idea what happened just because they were bought out, but I still love him and will continue to see him hoping they will one day be sold and bought by another hospital. The staff has become HORRIBLE!
