Excellent doctor!

I wish I could give this Dr office No stars. Where do i start! At my first appointment I told this doctor about my previous pregnancy loss in 2013, she didn’t refer me to a high risk doctor, she scheduled my appointments every 4 weeks. I knew I was high risk but because she showed no concern I figured my current pregnancy would go all the way full term. So Jan 30, 2019 at 16 weeks my water broke while driving the worst day of my life, my child’s father was so devastated as well even with the doctor . I said that to say this, I’m now 21 weeks pregnant and I currently go to Dr William Kelly , soon as he knew about my other 2 pregnancy losses he immediately referred me to a maternal fetal medicine doctor so that my Cervix would be monitored more closely. my appointments with doctor Kelly are every 4 weeks,my appointments with them are every 2 weeks. At 16 weeks Fetal medicine started me on Makena shots so that I wouldn’t go into preterm labor. at 18 weeks the maternal fetal medicine doctor noticed my Cervix was getting shorter so the next day I was scheduled to get a cerclage. Im now realizing the difference between the doctors. I’m now realizing the ones that’s not considerate or even Concerned. This was by far the worst experience ever! Its VERY IRRITATING that you guys dont answer the phone ! Ive been trying to call & make an appointment for 2 weeks & i keep getting a message that your on lunch & will return at 1:30 but this is every weekday all hours of the day

Dr.Brown delivered my son he is now 15 she is such an amazing doctor very sweet and explained everything well to me I was 17 when I had my son so she made sure I didn’t feel scared or anything I highly recommend her I haven’t seen her in a while but I know she is an amazing doctor.

Dr Brown is an awesome person and I’m enjoyed to have the experience of her delivering my 4 children. She has guided ME & my journey and if I didn’t have her medically I know I would have made severe Life Altering choices. ???? THANKS, Dr Brown!! PS No to mention the an additional wait time. Nice office but not personable. The office starting sending bills for lab after i believed i had paid everything at needed to at the office.

Dr Brown delivered both of my kids and my youngest is 21. She just found out she's pregnant and we look forward to Dr Brown delivering her baby.

She give wrong results on test and she don’t seem interested and don’t have time to listen I didn’t like her I changed my ob before 30 weeks wouldn’t recommend her

Front desk staff are UNPROFESSIONAL! Never been to a clinic where you can walk in to a physicians office and on the window stated “Do not open or tap on window”. Sign in and take the time to sign you in when they feel like it, have you waiting for a long time in the lobby area. Took them a long time to submit my prescription to the pharmacy. Never had a problem with staff and Dr Brown.

Dr. Brown cares about her patients and she is very friendly. Sometimes it’s hard to get an appointment but that is a good sign. They also offer virtual visits so that’s a plus.

Both she and her staff and unprofessional in every sense of the word.

They are absolutely unprofessional and rude. There's never been a single time I haven't waited for hours without complaint. Then you see the doctor for like 5 minutes and you're done. They'll cancel your appointment the day of. But don't be late and in the line a minute past 15 minutes; they'll make you reschedule. I drove an hour to see her. They knew I had car issues. Unprofessional staff. People want to be treated nicely and with respect, especially when you're pregnant. This staff will literally raise your blood pressure from their idiocracies. You wait for hours, and I'm not even exaggerating. By the time you leave you'll wonder what happened to your whole day. Then when you get to finally see the doctor she talks to you for like 3 minutes then she's on to the next. It's like well why in the hell was I waiting for 3 hours to just speak with her for a few minutes??? But if you're late you have to reschedule? What the what? Im paying you, not the other way around. If you're pregnant beware because she's not an actual doctor that can write a prescription for anything stronger than effing tylenol after you've been cut open. My son was Still born .... and this lady didn’t even deliver him. She was always super busy. And Was not attentive at all. Anytime I had a concern she just wrote me off and said it was “pregnancy pain” I regret going to her everyday of my life since after losing him. The staff was rude most of the time: and it was days I wait HOURS to see her but I wasn’t leavin until I checked on him. The day we went to the er. Very disappointed in my entire experience with Dr. Brown's office. The wait time is obscene! The two times I went for a visit I waited at a minimum of one hour PAST my appointment time to even be called back by a nurse. My annual exam showed "abnormal results" which NO ONE from the office called to tell me or explain, they only posted it to my 'Patient Portal.' On my second visit Dr. Brown preformed a colposcopy on me and her bed side manner is severely lacking. She is cold and short with her patients, I learned more about the procedure from googling it then she explained to me. My colopsocy showed some worrying results and instead of calling to explain or discuss them with me again they were simply posted to my 'Patient Portal.' Inside the Patient Portal Dr. Brown even recommended that I schedule a fairly extensive surgical procedure (which could affect my ability to get pregnant) without even speaking to me. I had to go to Planned Parenthood to get a second opinion which contradicted Dr. Brown's recommendation. Needless to say I'll never step foot in Dr. Brown's office again. The receptionist did not take time to answer question. The doctor’s bedside manner was good. I went in for an IUD insertion and the office assured me that it was covered 100% by my insurance. After that, the office billed me for $140. Their explanation was that amount was for the anesthetic agent. There was no separate anesthesiologist. The whole procedure was performed by Dr. Brown. However, she billed the IUD insertion separately from the anesthetic agent. Therefore, the insurance paid for the insertion only and not the anesthetic. I wish they could have told me about this before the procedure. I asked them repeatedly and the office kept reassuring me that it was covered at 100 percent. I got something similar done at Planned Parenthood and it was completely free under insurance. There was no waiting time like it was at this place. I had to wait the two weeks to get an appointment for consultation, went and paid the ‘consultation fee’, and waited another month for the actual insertion. Again, for Planned Parenthood you’d need only one walk-in appointment to get it done. In conclusion, they may get my $140, but they will forever lose a client. Front desk staff is unprofessional. I signed in for Dr. Brown and waited for her clerk to open the window because the sign says don't knock on the window. The clerk took a call, chatted with the other clerk then got back on the phone. I waited for ten minutes then approached the window. Finally the clerk opens the window and gives me my paperwork. I asked her what the process was for signing in. She stated that we sign in and when she sees us she will open the window. I said we have been waiting for 10 minutes. She stated that she has to make phone calls and schedule appointments. I said I signed in 10 minutes ago. And she said well you're checked in now. If I were to come in 10/15 minutes later then I would have to reschedule. People set and show up for appointments for a reason. If we have to be held accountable for our time frame then they should be also. I'm a firm believer that your front desk staff is the face and first impression of the Doctors office. Dr. Brown is very nice but most of the staff is very rude except Jossie, she is so sweet and patient. The rest either never answer the phone or they hang up on you. I called for 2 weeks for some test results. Never got my results until I went in person to speak with Dr. brown. Never go on a Saturday, I waited 3 hrs just be seen for 15 min., my appointment was at 9am. didn’t leave until 12pm. The problem is they schedule too many patients they can’t keep up with in one day. Dr. Brown is an amazing doctor. She truly cares for her patients and will take her time to answer your questions. I have been here a few times and will be coming here for all my OBGYN needs. Her front desk staff are also nice.

The most amazing extraordinary obgyn in Houston. I love doctor brown. From her amazing office staff to her kind, patient, informative check up’s there is absolutely no other doctor like her nor will I go to. She delivered all of my mothers children, and now mines and I couldn’t be more happy. I’m super satisfied with how my first c section went. The recovery is moving along great,and the best part is you can’t even tell I had a c section! Talk about greatful.Her technique is absolutely flawless!

I had an appointment at 11:00 am and arrived at 10:30 and signed in. They did not check the sign in log until 11:15 and 10 minutes later still were not calling anyone. Finally I got up and asked the receptionist if i needed to fill new patient work. She said the doctor was not there and had to reschedule me for another month. 1-why did she not see who was signing in and telling them up front? 2-she did not call anyone up until patients finally started to complain. She comes in the room in a hurry my last 5 visits. We talked about the hospital I wanted to deliver and that went in one ear and out the other. We discussed the women’s hospital just to say 4 weeks before my due date she can’t deliver at that hospital. I call for a prescription refill. She says she never got the note after saying woman usually don’t hv nausea or morning sickness this late in pregnancy. This is by far the most irritating obgyn I have been treated by. Beware! Dr Brown is an amazing Dr I love her she delivered 5 of my children an I will continue to be a patient and support her practice until she retires. Praying no time soon.

She is by far the beast doctor ever! She delivered all 4 of my children and made me feel so comfortable throughout my pregnancies. She's awesome she's the only doctor I want to or do go to.

I LOVE doctor Brown. I have been with her for almost 9 years now. My first OBGYN was awful and my friend had told me about her. It was a blessing. I have no idea what others are talking about with her not listening to them. She always makes sure to listen to my concerns. I had to have surgery a month after I had my son and she found out I was down the hall from someone she had done a C section for and she came to visit me and see how I was doing. If you want a caring, kind doctor who does LISTEN she is your doctor. And those comments about her not being in the office. I’m sorry but if I’m in labor I want my doctor there. Not at an office . That’s not going to do me any good and I’m sure if it was anyone else they would want her with them in the hospital making sure their labor was going right and not at an office with others who aren’t in labor.
