Dr. Jacob Anthony Vella

I had a spinal fusion back in May 2021. We had to change to Dr. Vella due to insurance reasons. They do a great job of getting you in on the Dr. side. Usually 15 mins or less in my experience. On the treatment side is usually 10 mins or less. Wait times are short at the Montgomery and Prattville office in my experience. One minor issue with billing but it was handled quickly. Not even worth taking a star away because things happen. The staff is nice and easy to get along with. Dr. Vella is down to earth and easy to talk with. The NP’s who take care of patients will actually sit down and listen.

The absolute WORST. If you don't want your PII shared, don't come here. The front desk staff is HORRIBLE!

Very friendly staff. The doctor was informative and personable. I am very happy with this office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Vella is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain what he's doing and the outcome. I would recommend him.

He did not address my pain only my muscle spasms. He directly contradicted the orders of my physician and my neurosurgeon from Baptist hospital in Montgomery. I am not a drug addict out seeking pain meds. I have serious pain in my neck 24/7. After surgery on my spine. The spasms are terrible as well. But he was only addresing my muscle spasms. Smh

I felt like I was in a machine and I got a nerve block and I don't think it was the wright one.

Explains everything..Very patient..

Genuinely tries to help your pain and if it requires you to be referred elsewhere he will do that for you instead of unnecessarily doing injections for pain on you. Very competent with excellent bedside manor. Skilled and experienced in his practice. I’d absolutely recommend someone to him.
