Came to see mom at hospital ...excellent neurologist

I was very happy with DR. Mathew when I saw him for my bad headaches. He did everything a DR should test me for even more. Sadly he didn't except my insurance that new year so I couldn't go to him anymore.

Dr. Mathew is the best neurologist I have ever had. He treated my wife at Brookhaven hospital and now he treats me for Vietnam related injuries. He is kind compassionate and never, never rushes you out. I highly recommend Dr. Mathew. Tony C. Holbrook

Terrible doctor. Saw him at Mather Hospital. Did not answer questions.extremly vague.Could not move arms and legs, talk when admitted. After extensive tests, still had no reasons from him.after several days of this, Where he gave me no answers and left my room after 5 minutes, wo examining me, I requested a new dr. Do not see him! Dr Mathew is a cowboy and does not take safety of the patient into consideration. He adjusted my loved one's medicine while in the hospital FOR SOMETHING ELSE to a dangerous level without notifying the healthcare proxy. When confronted, his passive-aggressive response was very disappointing. I challenge you, Dr Mathew, to post this to provide an unbiased view.

Dr. Matthew takes care of my mother. Although there is usually a wait at his office, he shows such compassion and genuinely cares. Aways respectful and good at explaining things. Dr. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, yet unassuming and humble. If I am ever in need of a neurologist I will go to him as well. (And I'm older now, so like everyone else, I've encountered good and bad MDs in my lifetime). Doctor Matthew is one of the good ones. A very good one.

Highly skilled physician backed by years of experience. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me when no other doctor could. Has been great managing my condition for years. Very knowledgeable personable office. Years of experience and expertise go a long way. Great doctor. thank you
