Never called me back to let me know they rec'd my paperwork. Never called me back,after (3) voicemails I left hem, so I can schedule my appointment. I called another "desk" number and reached another person that said Michelle would call me back. Never rec'd a call back. I finally got a hold of Michelle through even another employee, with excuses why she couldnt call me back. We haven't even gotten to the scheduling of my surgery yet....I'm still waiting for a response..... Not impressed with Michelle. Unfortunately I will probably seek another doctor. Other comments refer to the same type of staffing issues.
Too many complaints... For months, Michelle refused to email photos instead of faxing, as BCBS requested. Was scheduled for 1 procedure but had yet to get the 2nd medically necessary procedure approved. Sedwick no-showed to the peer-to-peer call with BCBS. 2 months of calls to ofc mgr Despina were unanswered as she only responds to emails. I met w/ Sedwick as I needed to know why he no-showed. I’d been given poor service and at least needed to be heard. Sedwick stated that only Despina handles complaints and refused services and cancelled my surgery. To add insult to injury he asked me if I’d like his office manager to call. Since she’d not been responsive, that would only escalate further. I left devastated and in tears. This has been a very trying and traumatic experience to only get declined for his services and is a barrier to medical care. I am pleased to say that I have found a skilled surgeon who has a competent staff and have now had both procedures successfully completed.
I spent months attempting to utilize Dr. Sedwick as a surgeon for a medically necessary pinnaplasty and blepharoplasty. For months, I would get decline letters from BCBS because Michelle at Sedwickâs staff could not appropriately interpret the BCBS letters that stated the photos needed to be emailed, not faxed for better viewing. Then a peer-to-peer call with Sedwick was arranged and Sedwick no-showed. After weeks of issues, I called Despina, Sedwickâs office manager to lodge a complaint but she refused to take my call and I was told to email her. 2 months later, and still trying to get Michelle to email the photos, I had to involve a case manager at BCBS to assist and advocate for my claim. 1 of the 2 surgeries was finally approved and schedule at the surgery ctr after Michelle emailed the photos, but Sedwick had not attended the scheduled peer-to-peer call to get the 2nd procedure approved. I didnât understand why heâd push for 1 procedure but drop the ball on completing the process for the 2nd procedure. I didnât want to be under the knife 2x and it didnât make sense that he no-showed to the peer-to-peer call with BCBS. I scheduled with Sedwick to see if he even knew the issues. I needed to know why he didnât properly submit the request for the second procedure and that I felt it was very unprofessional to have solely email responses from Despina. Iâd been given poor service and at least needed to be heard. Sedwick stated that only his office manager handles complaints, and he simply refused services and cancelled my surgery. To add insult to injury he asked me if Iâd like his office manager, Despina to call. That may have been helpful 2 months ago, but since she was not responsive to resolving any issue, that would currently not be beneficial as it would only escalate further. I left devastated and in tears. This has been a very trying and traumatic experience after taking 3 months to only get declined for his services and is a barrier to medical care. Doctors have a clear line in medical ethics of âfirst, do no harm, and unfortunately, this is not the case for me. Sedwickâs office staff is incompetent and negligent. I am pleased to say that I have found a skilled surgeon who has a competent staff and have now had both procedures successfully completed.
The visit was short and efficient. Dr Sedwick is always professional and friendly.
Very attentive and knowledgeable. He discussed the reason I was there to proceed with a treatment option for my sleep apnea and checked other symptoms I was having with my sinuses. He suggested a treatment option for the sinuses to happen concurrently with another testing appointment and pointed out that without fixing the sinus issues the apnea treatment might not work. He was friendly and straight to the point about my options.
Dr. Sedwick ll was a joy to talk with and it was a present surprise to hear he was raised here in Anchorage also. He is very knowledgeable and set my mind at ease on my up coming surgery.

Dr. Sedgwick was very patient, friendly and listened to what I had to say. He provided me with good information about my visit and did not rush me out of the office, like other Dr.’s have. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the office environment was clean and pleasant.

Poor customer service, price higher than out of state visit+travel... Wanted a price for cosmetic surgery so I scheduled a consultation -standard practice. Their auto answering machine mentioned virtual visits & scheduler never mentioned going in-office so I thought I was set. Turns out they can't do anything over the computer -so not sure why they rescheduled for tele-med really. The Dr. said there would be no charge for the appt since it was literally 5 minutes long & that a scheduler would be calling back with a price quote. Well the front desk did call but it was to collect the consultation fee for the service-less, 5 min tele-med appt. I had to call them 3 more times just to get in contact with the scheduler to get a price quote... which they then gave me the flat rate fees for. Nothing personalized by time needed or difficulty of surgery & didn't need a bit of consultation for it, just their flat rate. You too can reveal their pre-set rates for $100! But I don't recommend it.
Great visit. Dr. Sedwick is both competent and friendly.
Dr. Sedwick helped me achieve improved overall health with complication free deviated septum surgery. Because of my positive experience with him and ENT specialists of Alaska, I continue to visit Dr. Sedwick to seek his assistance for my sleep apnea condition. I would highly recommend him for these sensitive medical issues.

I never was able to visit Dr. Sedwick. His office called the day of my first consultation and had to reschedule. On the day of the rescheduled appointment they called me an hour and a half before my appointment and told me I needed to come in half an hour early or they would need to reschedule. I couldn't move my work meeting, so was not able to go. The staff was rude when I said I couldn't come in. No apology for the inconvenience. I canceled and will not go back
I’ve gone to Dr. Sedwick for 12 years. He was recommended by my previous EMT. He’s thorough and follows through on any procedure. His office staff is wonderful. My family also goes to him. I’ve recommended him to many friends.

Probably the worst ownership from a doctor I have ever seen. After messing up the 1st surgery on my wife's nose he agreed to redo the surgery and it didn't work either. Now over a year later her nose is still infected bleeding out of both sides all the time. Our local ENT has tried all sorts of antibiotics with no success. So after 15 moths of this we go see Dr. Sedwick again and he has a serious attitude and says nothing is wrong and just put Vaseline on it and basically said don't come back.

The worst office in the USA , unprofessional team .Discrimination exist at Dr .sedwick's office .Doctor doesn't spend any time with a patients and charged them full visit (false medical claims ). I have been charged for no reasons .Unethical behavior and unprofessional team . They cancelled my appointment so many times (They play games ).
