I’m a latin woman from Colombia who has been living in South Carolina for the last 3 years. A healthy, attractive body has always been important to me, however, as with age and time, I was becoming less satisfied with my figure. Diet and exercise was not giving me the results that I wanted, so I began researching how plastic surgery could help me reach my goals. I spent a considerable amount of time investigating potential clinics. I had several consultations with different doctors, but after my first consultation with Dr. Scheuer at Charlotte Plastic Surgery I knew he was the perfect doctor for my needs. Because English is not my first language, communication can be difficult for me, but Dr. Scheuer always took the necessary time to understand my expectations. He always explained everything with a lot of patience, professionalism, and detail. I had abdominoplasty with liposuction in September 2022 followed by breast augmentation three months later. I can say my husband and I could not be more pleased with the results. They are life changing. The improvements were obvious within 4 weeks. Now I am extremely happy with my figure. In the follow up visits Dr. Scheuer continued to monitor my recovery and progress. I was always impressed with his perfectionism, preoccupation with my health, attention to detail, calm demeanor and inexhaustible patience with my numerous questions. I can say the same applies to his fantastic surgical assistant Ashley. I would absolutely recommend Dr Scheuer to anyone because his results will exceed your expectations and he will always put your health before anything else.

Dr Scheuer and his team are amazing! I had a double mastectomy went right to implants that Dr Scheuer was my plastic surgeon on. Dr Scheuer saw me in the hospital the day after and then he called, a few days later, we FaceTimed to work though a problem I was having. One evening he called to check on me we FaceTimed and he had me come to the office it was after 6 pm when my husband and I arrived. . He was the only one left at the office when we arrived. Everything was fine but I feel he went over and above to make sure I was ok. I'm a breast augmentation patient that after two kids decided to have surgery. I did the same that a lot of people usually do and looked for different options. When looking at the reviews, I was searching for info that will help me answer questions like 1) How long does it take to recover, 2) How much does it cost, 3) How to choose the right size, 4) What are the risks, 5) Where would the incision be, 6) What’s the length of the incision, 7) What type of “warranty” is provided, 8) What to expect after surgery. After several calls to different places with my list of questions, I decided for CPS. After talking with Dr. Scheuer at CPS, in the first interview, I got all my questions openly and honestly answered. He is very easy to talk with and clear to understand, easy going and direct to the point. Consider yourself lucky if you can get in with him. 6/2020: This was my second time at Charlotte Plastic Surgery for surgery. I loved the results from my first surgery and have been just as thrilled with my second surgery. Dr. Scheuer and Nurse Ashley are wonderful people who are kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and very skilled at what they do. I’ll just say that this all took place throughout my Army career. I thought that life was over after having capsular contracture 3x, up in breast size 3x .. all turning into a big disaster! I finally, after 10 years, decided to have my 650 cc’s removed. This life saver and I mean just that, removed the huge implants and later found that after a flex or working out, my left breast would just SHOOT to the left. I say miracle doctor because Dr. Scheurer had to sew my Pectoral muscle back to the chest wall to stop it from pulling to the left. This all happened in November 2020, two years after removing them. Here I am in May 2021, and you wouldn’t believe I had breast implants, capsular contracture, muscle sewn or anything! They are full and symmetrical. Not to mention the absolutely wonderful staff..everyone is great..I will say that if he tells you what the overall outcome will be... just listen.. don’t worry just listen! I attended a breast augmentation seminar at Charlotte Plastic Surgery in their uptown office in February 2020. Dr. Scheuer had a short presentation at the event but I immediately knew I needed to get on his schedule! I met with him a few weeks later and we went over my goals for breast augmentation & what my vision of my overall look would be & his opinion as well based on my measurements. I had my procedure in late May and his entire staff was fantastic. I felt so at ease on the day of my surgery and it was literally done in a flash it seemed. I am so happy I found Dr. Scheuer for my breast reduction! It was a surgery I had wanted for a long time, but was very emotional about it and scared to take the step. As soon as I walked into Charlotte Plastic Surgery, I felt so comfortable right away and all my fears faded (I didn’t even cry which I thought I for sure would). Dr. Scheuer and his staff were so kind, really understanding to my pains of having large (40J) breasts. He calmly talked me through the whole process, answered my entire list of questions, and made me feel so confident in my choice to proceed. It is honestly hard to put into words the admiration and thankfulness that I have towards Dr Scheuer, Ashley and his team at Charlotte Plastic Surgery. I have wanted a breast reduction my whole life and last year it was supposed to happen however, 2 days before surgery I was in a bad car accident. Needless to say, I could not go through with surgery. My mom called the office and explained I would not be there because I was in the trauma unit from the accident. In less than 4 hours Dr Scheuer had called my mom checking on me and telling her to reassure me that he would “take care of me, to be strong and continue to heal and promised once I was better we WOULD have the surgery”. These words that he said so strongly to my mom she believed and told me which made me fight even harder to recover. He also continued to call and check on me periodically. I had my breast reduction in September (almost a year to the original date) and am now a month recovered; I have never looked or felt better. Dr Scheuer is kind, sincere, thorough, and AMAZING at what he does. God put him in my path to be my surgeon and for that I am forever blessed. I had my consultation for a breast reduction with Dr. Scheuer in June and had surgery in August. I had a breast augmentation 2 weeks ago (November 24, 2020) and I am still amazed by Dr. Jack Scheuer, my experience and results. Around summer of 2020, I finally decided to have a breast augmentation (by year end) and I wanted to make sure I did my research and find the best doctor. In the state of NC, I kept coming back to Dr. Jack Scheuer because of his positive reviews and before/after pictures on the Charlotte Plastic Surgery website. I decided to give them a call and I set up a virtual consultation. A few weeks later, I met Dr. Scheuer (virtually) and he is very thorough on the entire process pre/post op and I was able to ask my list of questions/ concerns. By the end of the call, I knew this would be the right fit and I booked my surgery date. My in-office experience was just as good as my virtual consultation. Charlotte Plastic Surgery was a very nice/clean office and they followed all the COVID regulations. I had lipo with fat transferred to my buttocks and I look very natural. Dr. Scheuer is a very caring man. He definitely has a passion for What he do for a living. After having an augmentation gone wrong from another doctor, I came to Dr. Scheuer for a redo plus a lift. Needless to say I am blown away by the results!!! Dr. Scheuer always made me feel like I was the sole focus of his attention at every visit and explained what to expect, often stopping to ask what questions I had. I am going to review both Dr. Scheuer and Charlotte Plastic Surgery. Dr. Scheuer - WHAT AN AMAZING HUMAN! When I first scheduled my consult about a breast reduction with CPS I automatically was assigned to Dr. S. He was newer to the practice so I didn't know much about him. Turns out he specializes in insurance cases and more out of the box surgeries (think mishaps and extreme cases). This made me feel confident in his work. You should know I started out trying to get my insurance company to cover my surgery which I got, but then after some weight loss, was denied (don't get me started). So from my first appointment to my surgery date I had seen Dr. Scheuer for about a year and a half. Every single appointment he never made me feel rushed. He was always so specific and thorough with his conversations, recommendations and instructions. Even on my day of surgery he spent well over 10 minutes marking my skin making sure everything was exactly correct. I SO appreciated that! His interactions with me were comfortable and I never doubted his knowledge or abilities once. I am a questions asked and with the back and forth of my process with the insurance company, he always spent time with me and answered anything I had to ask. Even the weird and crazy stuff. When I couldn't decide on what size I wanted to be he showed me, on multiple occasions, before and after photos of his past client to help me get a better idea of what I wanted. He never pressured me to do anything I didn't want. When I was denied for insurance he didn't pressure me to just pay for the surgery myself. He was so kind and had a sense of humor which was awesome when it came to surgery day. I LOVE my new look and don't think I could have done this LONG process with anyone else. His nurse was amazing too. She was there the entire way and honestly felt like a sister every time I visited. They showed me compassion when I was stressed or frustrated and they celebrated with me once I saw the new me. It was something I never would have expected from a practice. Charlotte Plastic Surgery: The venue itself has recently been updated in Spring 2019. The rooms are very "doctor office" like which is to be expected. The surgical suite on surgery day is way less intimidating than a hospital. It's still very steril looking and has all the same equipment, but on a smaller scale. There were others getting surgery the same morning as me so hearing others get the "pep talk" from their doctors strangely put me at ease. No one likes surgery and it's scary as hell, but I was oddly calm once I got back to the suite because my nurse was there and Dr. S was there so all the familiar faces helped ease the nerves. If you cannot tell already, I 1,000% recommend this surgeon. It's not the cheapest place in Charlotte, but you get what you pay for and they have awesome financing available. I recently had a breast reduction performed by Dr. Jack Scheuer. Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for the level of service and level of care that I've received for Dr. Jack. This guy is AMAZING, and not only cares about his work but cares genuinely for his patients. Dr. J takes the time to get to know his patients and takes a very personable approach with them. After gastric bypass, and losing over 100 pounds, I was left with a lot of unsightly, sagging skin around my lower abdomen (so-called an "apron"). After seeing Dr. Scheuer for two consults, wherein he very patiently and clearly explained not only my options, but also expressed his heartfelt opinion about how the procedure I originally wanted (a panniculectomy) would probably leave me feeling less than satisfied, I elected to follow his advice have an abdominoplasty (minus the abdominal muscle tightening). I am nearly 8 weeks removed from surgery, and I can honestly say I have never been happier in my life. Not only with how I look, but how I feel. Dr Scheuer did my revision surgery following post-mastectomy reconstruction. The previous surgeon I had did not complete the reconstruction the way I asked which was extremely frustrating and disheartening after going thru enough with breast cancer. I went to Dr Scheuer to fix it with another revision and he and Ashley went above and beyond making sure it was done right and they understood what I was looking for so I could feel normal again. At age 40 I was at the top of my game...feeling good and looking good with thanks to my avid cycling. My love for cycling in my home of New York City ended by nearly loosing my life after being run over by a car. Ironically and in contrary to what one might imagine, the collision happened on a quiet suburban street on Staten Island and not in the hustle and bustle that is iconically Manhattan. At any rate, my journey ultimately brought me to Charlotte where I met Dr. Scheuer. I had been through a total of 14 separate surgeries at the time, many of which were due to the reconstruction of my face which suffered immensely from the impact. After the initial “framework” was laid, the shape of my face was still “off”. Dr. Scheuer was able to reshape a portion of my face to its pre-accident look. He and assistant Ashley are compassionate, empathic, and really listen to one’s needs. As a man, I went in with fears of looking “over surgeried”. Thanks to the Dr.’s reaussurance, I was soon comfortable with getting the tweaks I needed. The good doctor’s comportment and bedside manner are that of a gentleman, and I stand behind both his work and his demeanor. As one can imagine, the trauma I have enderoured is both physical and mental, and Dr. Scheuer was able to put a little of both elements into line. My recommendation for one to see Dr. Scheuer to recapture some of what one has lost cosmetically stands strong, and men need not fear no matter what the goal is. I usually dread going to just about any medical facility. Not just because of whatever may be medically wrong, but more so because of the rude staff and inpatient doctors. CPS was different. Everyone that worked at CPS were super nice and professional. They all were extra special from the time I walked in the front door until I left. Dr. Scheuer is on the top of my list for being one of the kindest, attentive and thorough doctors I have met in a very long time. I got a lot of my questions answered and am looking forward to possibly returning for treatments. I just had my appointment today and had to come home and write this review. My experience with Dr. Scheuer has been nothing but excellent. From day one of walking into his office for a consultation, his service was warm and inviting, I knew then I was in the best of care. He took his time to explain the process and what my procedure would look like. Even though my nerves were all over the place, I was able to relax and take in the information he was providing. During my visit before surgery, he gave me the opportunity to talk about how I was feeling if I was nervous or had any questions about my procedure I had not asked previously. He made me feel comfortable with his responses. The day of my surgery I was experiencing anxiety, but Dr. Schueuer bedside service was remarkable, he laughed and talked with my family as he prepped me. He was so humanistic, right at that time I knew everything would be fine. I always felt confident working with him pre and post-op, and we even had an 'after hours' issue shortly before surgery where he was available via phone to answer some last minute questions. Dr. Scheuer completed an otoplasty to tuck my ears back and reshape them. I had this procedure completed by a different surgeon ten years ago and it only worked on the bottom half of my ears. I was so dissapointed in the prior results that I still wore my hair down all the time. I was referred to Dr. Scheuer from a respected surgeon in his office. Upon meeting him and seeing his portfolio, I was confident he would deliver the results I was looking for. Over a recent 6 week period I had 2 MOHS surgeries to remove skin cancers from my face. Dr Scheuer was recommended to me by a close friend who is also a plastic surgeon to close the wounds. When I met with him prior to each of the surgeries he explained in detail what to expect and using his excellent beside manner calmed any apprehensions I had about the surgeries. The surgeries were a breeze thanks to Dr Scheuer's surgical skill and his excellent staff . I was referred to another doctor on his team, but due to a time factor, that doctor referred me to him. I was a little nervous at first, but as soon as Dr. Scheuer stepped into the room, my nerves calmed. Plus, its always good to be referred to a doctor by another doctor. He is very professional as well as personable. He listened to all of my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. He had such amazing "bed side" manner before and after my surgery. I am a chiropractor and my job is very physical. Despite taking it easy when I came back to work, I did feel like did damage to my right breast.
