Would love to give this oral surgeon a fair fighting chance....If they'd even pick up the phone! I've called 5 times in a row and gotten a number out of service message each time.

Great doc

From the moment I walked inside to the moment I walked out, I felt 100% confident in Dr. Hirschfeld's ability. I needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted. He took care of my swollen gums and got the swelling down. Throughout the entire process, he explained and had a positive uplifting mood. I was completely at ease and stress-free. He removed it so quickly and efficiently. Time flew by and I felt absolutely ZERO pain. I had no swelling or bruising at all. The next day I was even able to attend a wedding. I will never be able to thank him enough. I have heard horror stories of wisdom teeth removal, but I had the complete opposite experience. It was amazing, and now I don't have any more pain from infected wisdom teeth.

I just called the office as a new patient and the young lady who pick up was being so rude,couldn't get a word in and her attitude was so nasty. I told her "I wont be making no appointment here with that attitude,bye" His office needs call recording with all that rudeness.

What upset me the MOST is first your EXTREMELY rude receptionist which from reading the reviews it’s not just me that perceived it wrong and THEN yes I did give u a hug before I left BUT then I read the reviews online and with you KNOWING how much pain n anxiety I had, you offered me nothing but yet I read that you gave someone a Valium because they were “so nervous” and I also bet you never said a word to that lady because u acted like I was making everything up! If I was making it all up, then why did several other ppl have negative things to say about her? Of course your not gonna witness her disrespectful behavior because you write her paycheck. When she cane to the back in the procedure room and was in your presence, sugar wouldn’t have melted in her mouth! So now that should answer your question why I got upset AFTER the hug. PLUS I spoke to my dentist as well and that also pointed some things that I suspected but was unsure about. And u also acted like I lost the prescription for the antibiotic. All u did when u call was defend yourself. You never apologized for anything or anyone else’s actions. This so called Specialist is far from being great! His receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful to my daughter. Dr. Hirschfield yelled at her because She was over anxious and crying while he stuck her FOUR times. She was not properly medicated prior to the procedure and accused her of being a big baby. When She called the office, each time she promptly hung the phone up before BEFORE My daughter was even finished talking. He also claimed he had the gas turned all the way up when She’s had gas before and never experienced such pain. She will DEFINITELY never go back and will bad mouth every chance She get. It has been 48 hours and She is still in excruciating pain. Never gave her a prescription for an antibiotic and refused to give pain medicine. How is he still in business? Dr. Hirschfield and his staff are THE BEST! I was so nervous about getting my last wisdom tooth removed because it was so close to my nerve line and alot of other dentist refused to touch it. Dr. Hirschfield made me feel at ease and reassured me that he would get me through this! I was so nervous he even gave me valium to ease me. The procedure was literally 15mins and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever! I was so shocked at how fast he pulled it out and so shocked that I didn't feel no pain AT ALL! This rating is just for the rude disrespectful people that answered the phone. Horrible first impression! And I'm a new first time patient that hasn't even been for my appt yet. Should be interesting to say the least. UPDATE: I must have caught them on a bad day at a bad time that day, it happens. I went for my evaluation/consultation and everything and every one was wonderful. Friday is my procedure. I will have 4 bottom teeth pulled. 2 wisdom and the 2 in front of my wisdom. I was instructed to take 2 xanax & 1 percocet 1 hr beforehand. Then I found out nitrous gas is only $60 extra. When I asked since I decided on the nitrous should I still take the xanax and the percocet. I was told 'sure, enjoy yourself '. Never in a million yrs did I ever think I'd actually almost look forward to a dental procedure like this! Sounds like I'm in for a blast from the past. Stay tuned for my final update. I have experienced traumatic issues with previous dentists, however with Dr Hirschfeld not only was the procedure traumatic free but he has an amazing bedside manner and highly recommend his services!!! After a traumatic experience having a wisdom tooth, yanked, cut, crunched and still not fully pulled from my throbbing skull by my regular dentist, I came to Dr Hirschfeld to have the remaining root removed. I was in and out of there so quickly with almost no pain compared to my visit with my personal dentist. He was very fast and to the point. Yes it will hurt later, but the job was done like a Pro with minimal discomfort. Very satisfied! Dr. Hirschfeld is amazing! I had all my wisdom teeth extracted by him over 3 different visits in the past 4 years. He is the best and I highly recommend him as you won’t even feel the anesthesia or the actual surgery!

Not impressed with the doctors bedside manner. He comes across as a bit rude. I fully appreciate driving to his lake worth office for a tongue lashing. If he was so busy he shouldn’t have bothered.

He yelled at me while I was 8 months pregnant because I was too nervous to have work done! Not to mention it’s because he was attempting to pull my tooth when it wasn’t completely NUMB and said it was because he couldn’t administer the regular dosage like if I wasn’t pregnant! 10 months ago: My brothers and sisters recommended this dentist and I am very pleased they did! Dr. Hirschfeld was amazing with me! I will definitely be back for future visits! His staff was fantastic, too! They were all very sweet! I was very scared walking in and they all definitely calmed me down, and there was nothing to be scared of! Giant, massive thanks to the wonderful Doctor! Hands down, the best! Definitely recommend! 5 star smiles! ???????????????????? UPDATE: I just have to update this a bit for Christmas (the 2017 holiday season ) This doctor is a GODSEND! He saved me literally last minute! He delt with my little crazy cry baby self like a PRO! He is absolutely the best oral surgeon around! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once and didn't feel any pain! just a whole lot up pulling and pushing but no pain! highly recommend!!

I had a tooth extraction by Dr. Hirschfeld. This was my first time getting work by Gina and he as well as his staff were fast competent and professional. I was in and out of the chair in 30 minutes. I had no unnecessary pain and he prescribed me pain meds, antibiotics and instructions for after car. Very pleased with his work!

I had to have the 3rd molar removed and he clearly states before he begins if you feel any pain signal. I did and was further medicated. The best in all of Palm Beach county, no sorry the best in the whole wide world. This man is just skill at what he does that removing a wisdom tooth seems like getting my nails done. The doctor and his assistant made my visit seems like I was on vacation. I hardly give feedback but after visiting Dr. Hirschfied office I highly recommend this Doctor to anyone looking for a dental surgeon, you feel relax and calm as possible.

What a great doctor and good guy and friendly helpful staff too. Had a tooth extracted and he was great. Upbeat cheerful personality and explained things in detail. I wasn't even nervous as he and his staff were great! He has over 30 years of experience too. Highly recommend him!

The best experience in a dentist chair. My wisdom tooth extraction was quick and painless. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. The nurse was very nice and thorough with post procedure instructions. I was on vacation and was able to call and get an immediate appointment.

I was not properly numbed for my wisdom tooth extraction, when I told Dr Hirschfeld I was feeling everything he basically told me I was being a wimp. The pain was so great that I passed out. Wow! Best dentist/dental experience! Dr. Hirschfeld is friendly and very knowledgeable. Four wisdom teeth extracted but almost no pain - even the IV was one of the best- the little pinch was the most the whole procedure hurt and I had no bruising. He explained everything, gives you everything written down and tells you what to expect. He said in 72 hours I could expect to swell up but I didn't. My recovery has been amazing. I thought his staff was not only efficient but sweet. They called my dad a few hours after the procedure to see how I was doing (which was great because I spent the day resting and couldn't really talk). Dr. Hirschfeld knows what he's doing. My recovery has been amazing! He explains everything to you and is awesome at his work. Wisdom teeth extraction didn't hurt and I didn't really bruise or swell. I would strongly recommend him to my loved ones and my friends.

He was a little rough when he was pulling my tooth. My jaw stayed sore for over a week.

After my surgery, the office called and the lady asked to speak to my mother to see how i was doing. Mind you that I am 21 years old and do not need anybody to speak on my behalf, especially regarding MY PERSONAL MEDICAL INFORMATION. Second, they badgered me about someone being there with me and when I asked why they needed to know they were very rude on the phone. Their "courtesy call" was nothing short of the most disrespectful conversation ive ever had with a medical professional. Once I tried voicing my opinion the lady said " dont worry youll never hear from us again" and promptly hung up the phone on me. Very rude and unprofessional. I can't believe the previous review, don't listen to that 21 yr "I'm an adults, waaaaa". They don't want to speak to you after Surgery because you are doped up and shouldnt be talking!! I love them. They are sweet and I've has so many surgeries that no-body has called me to make sure I was doing well. I highley reccomend them. Any problem I had, I called and they helped me no problem. Best dentist I've been to, ever! Don't listen to the little whiny 21 year old who thinks hes grown. I hate going to the dentist, but they made me feel comfortable and when it came time to pull my tooth it was over before I knew what was going on. I highly recommend this dentist and his team.
