I live over an hour away but the drive is well worth it. Dr. Chan and his team at California Coast Dental Arts are absolutely fantastic. From the moment I step into their beautiful office, I’m alway greeted with warm smiles and a friendly welcome from the staff. Dr. Chan is a true professional, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of dentistry. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explain everything to me. The rest of the staff is just as impressive. The dental assistants are friendly and thorough, and they go out of their way to make sure I’m always comfortable. Overall, I can’t recommend Dr. Chan highly enough. Whether you’re in need of a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, you can trust that you’re in good hands with this team. Great experience

Twice annual teeth cleaning with a new dental hygienist. She was thorough and gentle.

Had a great first time experience looking forward to future work. Excellent, courteous and thoughtful staff with professionalism and a great sense of humor.

Great experience as always. The staff is kind and professional. Would highly recommend (and do) to anyone looking for a dentist.

It’s worth the wait to get an appointment for a cleaning with Dr Chan and his associates. I am a travel nurse and return to San Diego annually to be sure I see him. Professional, courteous staff that do a great job. And the surf movies on the ceiling during the cleaning make the time pass quickly. I would highly recommend seeing this dental group!

My previous dentist closed up his practice, so I had to find a new dentist. I am always nervous about such things, but my first visit with Dr. Chan was great, it was a good experience and I felt comfortable fairly quickly. He gave me an honest review of my dental situation and does not push unnecessary work.

Great office staff, wonderful dentist!! This office makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

The staff is very kind! The dental chairs are massage chairs and they have TVs set up on the ceiling so you can watch during your cleaning.

I am happy to have Dr Chan as my dentist. He is professional and trustworthy. He cares about his patient's teeth and enjoys what he does. The office staff are also courteous and nice. The dental hygienist does a thorough job and makes helpful suggestions to keep my teeth clean and healthy.

I had to change my dentist that I had for 15 years she was great!. So I called California Coastal Dental Arts I was not sure I was going to like the dentist. Well I was wrong I was lucky I found C. C. D. A The staff is great very friendly and Dr. Chang he’s willing to listen if you have questions and will explain it well enough so you can understand. I give them 5 ⭐️

Needed to find a new dentist in Oceanside. Tried another office/dentist in the area and was shocked at how much work I was told I would need and the staggering cost of it all. Based on many private reviews I made an appointment with CCDA and very happy I did. They were very upfront and clear about what work was necessary and what was not, and I was able to make an informed choice that worked well for my dental health and the health of my budget.

Great staff, great dentist, love this office! I am terrified of the dentist, but this office is by far the best one I've ever been to. Because of that I'm able to go three times a year for cleanings and it helps me keep on top of my oral health. Highly recommend, especially for those afraid of the dentist!

Dr. Chan does amazing work. Had my two wisdom tooth pulled within 20min and no pain whatsoever. I highly recommend! Him and his team are the best.

I've been going here for a couple of years now. The facility is very nice and clean, the staff are very polite and accommodating. I've had several cleanings and fillings done here, and I've never once had a bad experience. Dr. Chan will also go out of his way to see patients if they are experiencing severe pain or other serious issues. I would highly recommend his practice to everyone. Prices are very reasonable, even without insurance, and the man doesn't push products or services on clients. I'm here visiting family in Cali and needed emergency help, thank god for Dr.Chan! Seriously super nice and extremely helpful, got a proper diagnosis after my own dentist dropped the ball. I never leave good reviews but this Doc deserves it, thank you so much for the quick fix! He gave me a list of instructions for my other doc back in NY too to properly fix my tooth (prob going to look for a new dentist anyway) thanks so much doc, back to vaca! Been seeing Dr. Chan for about 10 years, wouldn’t see anyone else! Highly recommend for kids and adults who don’t like the dentist lol.

Dr. Chan and his staff are the absolute best!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and he can perform most procedures right there in his office without sending you to a specialist. Access to available appointments is easy, and with them billing both of my insurances I never had one single issue. Not to mention Dr. Chan literally saved me thousands of dollars by being honest about the treatment I needed compared to what a previous dentist had told me. There are TVs on the ceiling with a wide variety of movies you can select in case you have to be in the chair for a while. I mean, I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this dentist! I had to move out of state and have never since been able to find a dental office that come close to this one. The open and happy environment where it’s obvious everyone genuinely gets along and appreciated patients is bare none. I LOVE Dr. Jack Chan! He is very professional as well as funny and honest. It seems like he really sympathizes and understands the patient. I usually hate going to the dentist, but he has changed that for me. I tolerate it now lol. It rocks how thorough he is. As a patient, you're more than just a number here. They make sure to take enough time to thoroughly get the job done so you don't have to revisit your issue later. The staff is very personable and competent in what they do, and they seem to work harmoniously with Dr. Chan. My last appointment was seriously filled with a lot of laughs and serious questions. JEN, Dr. Chan, and all staff: I received my work note and I forwarded it to my employer. I sure appreciate you doing that as I'm recovering and need the narcotic pain meds to aid in my recovery. I'm also taking the Motrin and amoxicillin as rx'd. I gotta tell you for my visit to your office, I really felt like I was family and like a patient who had been going there for years. My family have had many awful experiences with previous dental offices treating us horribly and also going out of business all of sudden. So being treated so quickly and so gently, was such a blessing ???? So in short, your whole office really made a real painful day really awesome!!! I chose Dr. Chan for 3 reasons: 1) My son & daughter-in-law had been using him for years 2) he was close to my house & work 3) he is on my approved PPO dentists list. I have been very very happy with him & his whole staff. I have been his patient for 7 years and have recommended co-workers to him. I go every 6 months without fail.
