Jack H Akmakjian

Approximately 18+ years ago I had neck (C-Spine) surgery done by Dr. Jack Akmakjian. I had fusions done on many levels of my neck(Pins & Screws, with synthetic bones) Dr Akmakjian Is a Great Doctor a Great Surgeon and has wonderful bedside manner. Dr Akmakjian truly cares about his patient He treats his patients with so much respect and explains everything to you that you need to know. I had left California and moved to Wyoming otherwise I would’ve still been his patient to this day. I asked him if there was anybody that he knew of that he could refer me to in Wyoming and he gave me a Doctor named Dr. Ribnik out of Cheyenne, Wyoming Who is also a Great Doctor! I fully recommend Dr. Akmakjian If he is not retired yet. Thank you Dr. acclamation for the wonderful work that you did on my neck. I was told by a neurologist that saw my MRIs that it was the best neck surgery that he has ever seen that’s gotta tell you something Thank You Dr Akmakjian

The Dr is very nice But his staff are below any standards in the medical field I've ever seen . I've been waiting on the doctor's report for45+days. I'm looking to move forward and find a resolution but since his staff isn't capable to get things done makes it impossible to get it done. All I've heard is excuses and that the person who writes the reports quit.I WONDER WHY HE QUIT . Stuff happens but if you can't handle simple things like a dr.report then how could I trust them to operate.

Dr. Jack has been part of my life for over 23yrs. My husband is walking w/o fusion since the yearly 90’s. Because of Dr. Jack, in 2009 I had to have neck surgery. At that time I chgd insurance so he could’ve my Dr. my neck is the best moving part of my body., thanks to him. He is the BEST Orthopedic Surgeon I’ve ever met. He gives you the straight information. He WILL NOT LIE to you. He gives straight FACTS. I trust him implicitly., No Doubt!! The Best!! I will follow him if he leaves Rsde.

He work on my back over 20 years ago still feels great. He will tell like it is the way Doctors should talk to their patients. I have told a lot of people about him. If I needed another Operation on my back this is the Doctor that I would go back too.

Did husbands surgery. Dr wanted to do the surgery quick & beat his former time record than doing it right. He bragged it was his fastest time yet. 3 mo. after surgery husband still in bad pain. After new MRI, Dr saw more damage. Dr said last MRI before surgery was a year old so spine had gotten worse and he should have ordered a new MRI right before surgery. DUH! Another surgery needed. Won't go to him again. Dr said he is moving to Dubai for big money. He has already checked out doesn't care.

I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I felt like he took care of me like I was his family, my life is so much better after my surgery. His team and the Doctor worked well together through my whole experience I felt safe. Thanks Doc. Terry B.

I saw Dr Akmakjian today and I was very pleased with his patience with me asking so many questions about my back problems. He gave me answers that were easily understood. The waiting time was more than I was hoping for. After seeing Dr I feel it was worth the time. I would recommend him.

Dr Akmakjian is a great doctor! He helps the patient with anything I need. A task is never to small to complete. The office staff are very kind to.
