Dr. J E Mendez

Years ago my wife used Dr. Mendez and was very pleased with his concern and attentive attitude to her problem. She had not gone to him for service because her problem had been handled, but five years after her last visit we received a large bill for services which he had forgotten to charge. When we received the bill we were totally shocked. Five years and we had never been notified of any bill. Calling the office they said that we had two weeks to pay or be turned over to a collector. No explanation of why, what or when this bill was incurred. We were highly infuriated over a charge that was for a service that occurred so long ago. Our insurance had changed and we couldn’t file. We found it a poor way to conduct business.

This is the worst Dr. I have ever seen and his also racist against African American.. I went into office for a physical and screen.. I had an irregular heartbeat. My screen Clear, my physical good but I have an irregular heartbeat. I went to hospital stayed overnight . My dr at hospital sent me home with paperwork signed.. There's a box that was checked that's states I'm ok to drive a commercial vehicle. "The identified condition and treatment should not cause sudden impairment or interfere with the drivers ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. My Dr check this box sayonf it safe for me to drive but racist J Ernesto Mendez, Md stayed he needs more info Mind you I drove there and drove back from hospital..J Ernesto Mendez, Md has an attitude with me because I'm Black. He denied my paperwork signed by my Doctor..I walked out of office.. I set up a new appointment with another Doctor I follow up with results .. This so called doctor told me im my first trimester with my daughter told me I should have a hysterectomy and abortion ...and drop it there wouldn't even talk to me more about it well my daughter was born with no problems. He should be more careful hopefully he was with other women.
