Dr. J. David Holcomb

I am leaving this review only 16 days after my rhinoplasty, and I cannot convey how happy I am with my new nose. It is still swollen but already beautiful, and I cannot say enough good things about how much I appreciate Dr, Holcomb and his staff. He is a true artist, professional, very well-certified, extremely nice and respectful and worthy of all of these great reviews. I did my homework before choosing him. He may charge more than other plastic surgeons, but he is worth every penny. If you are going to get work done, choose the best, and the best is Dr. Holcomb! This is only the first of more procedures yet to come with him as I get older! Every time I look in the mirror, I just feel so much appreciation for him and believe that anyone who chooses him will have the same experience. You will be so glad you did!

Dr. Holcomb did my facelift and neck contouring. I’m so very happy with my results. I didn’t want to look done and I honestly don’t. Very natural and subtle which is just what I wanted and after seeing Dr. Holcomb’s before and after photos I was very confident in his understanding.

Altering your body in any way is a serious decision to make. My breasts size was 42H and they were causing me a lot of physical problems. Everything from my posture, to sleeping, the way that I could play with my kids, and the way that my clothes fit were all affected. It was definitely the right decision for me and I feel like a new woman.

From beginning to end, the entire experience was fantastic. Dr. Holcomb is not only competent, but also imaginative and caring. I told him what I wanted to look like when I woke up, and he made it happen! Even only one day after my treatments, I awoke feeling considerably more youthful, but still maintaining a natural appearance. Thank you so much, Dr. Holcomb!

Of course I have heard over and over that what matters is what’s on the inside. That said we are often judged by what is seen on the outside whether we like it or not. The years had caught up to my face and what I saw in the mirror was not equal to what I felt like inside. Dr. Holcomb gave me natural looking results that matched the outside with the inside in a way that is very much to my liking (and my husband’s too!)

When I opted for a brow lift, I was absolutely not going for asymmetry. What I was left with was an almost comical uneven look. Well it might have been comical if it was on somebody else. I won’t go into the harrowing experience I had with the actual doctor who did it but I will sing the praises of Dr. J. David Holcomb from the rooftops for his brilliant revision surgery.

Following my incredibly vicious and heart rendering divorce, I knew I needed to get back into the groove. I went to Holcomb Kreithen Plastic Surgery & Medspa and met with Dr Kreithen himself. He had suggested a few options and I went with breast augmentation. I really enjoy the attention I get now.

Facelifts are not just for women. I easily look 15 years younger. Dr. Holcomb is a master at what he does.

I had a lot of work I wanted done when I walked into the office. They sat me down and went over it all. Then I had the pleasure of speaking with both doctors. We put together a plan and we ware working through that plan. They have been great.

Dr. Holcomb performed a Mist Ultrasound Therapy to heal a facial wound I received in a fall. This painless therapy delivered low-frequency ultrasound energy to my skin several times a week until the wound was barely visible. It is amazing.

The new injections under my eyes and forehead took away my age signs! I still looks like myself just a little younger. This was performed by Dr. Holcomb. The last time I was there Dr. Kreithen came by and interested me in a breast augmentation so I made an appointment with him as well.

I had my nose done here and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Holcomb explained what to expect and things went as planned. He did a great job!

At Holcomb Kreithen Dr. Saba has been working with me to clear my face. She has worked with me on scar tissue and developing good habits and just all around good skin care. I have been seeing progress constantly throughout treatment and I would highly recommend her!

I was feeling tired and old. I attended a virtual seminar for Facial Rejuvenation presented by the Kreithen Plastic Surgery & MedSpa I was so impressed at the many non-invasive options there are to rejuvenate a women’s appearance. I was sold.

I was in a really bad car accident and needed a rhinoplasty. I did a LOT of research before deciding to go with Dr. Holcomb and it was the best decision of my life. I can finally look in the mirror and see me again and not my accident.

After breastfeeding four kids, you can imagine the toll it took on my breasts. My kids are all grown and living their lives now and I finally wanted to do something to make myself feel better. Dr. Kreithen and his team are the best and I've never felt better after having the breast lift with implants!

Absolutely terrible ... He failed miserably in all three procedures. I had to go to another Surgeon to repair and pay him an additional $16000. This guy deformed me... RUN

The environment at Holcomb Kreithen was very clean and I felt assured they were COVID19 safe. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful during my visit. I had any questions that I had answered by Doctor Kreithen and felt he was very knowledgeable about the procedure we were discussing.

After losing a profound amount of weight there was a lot of left over skin across my body. Dr. Kreithen was kind enough to help me resolve that in a way that left me healthier for it. I'm so grateful.

Life-changing is the only term I can use to describe my laser treatment here. The expertise with which Dr. Holcomb utilized Acculift to rejuvenate and refresh my face actually has changed my life. The compliments I receive frequently from others feel great but it is the compliment I almost want to say out loud every time I look in the mirror that means the most to me.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to benefit from services performed by each of the talented surgeons. There is not one doubt in my mind that both of them are just as concerned with my appearance and how I feel about myself as I am.

As a female litigator, in a male world, I not only had to be twice as prepared, but look and dress in manner that conveyed my competence. When a male attorney, who was opposing counsel told me years ago that I “looked tired” I first began my long experience with laser procedures. Now retired at 73, I no longer have to please anyone but myself. Recently when I looked in the mirror I could tell I was indeed “looking tired”. After researching who the best laser doctor was in Florida, and after several consults I decided on Dr. Holcomb and couldn’t be more pleased. Although people say beauty is only skin deep, having the ability to look in the mirror and like what you see gives you confidence and happiness that goes way beyond a thin layer of epidermis.

I had heard a bit about Juvederm but was a bit skeptical of really seeing a difference in the deep lines around my mouth. I came here with a lot of questions and I left with all my questions answered and dramatic results.

This is a thank you to the wonderful people at Holcomb Kreithen Plastic Surgery. Dr. Kreithen and his staff were incredibly supportive and very helpful. Unlike other places I consulted with, I knew they were for me because they never gave me that salesman impression when I talked with them. They were never pushy and they seemed to want to know my story and my goals before even talking about my breast augmentation procedure.

My experience was great! Good follow up as well!! I would definitely recommend Dr Holcomb to my friends. He is beautifying Sarasota one person at a time!!!

On April 30,2019 you performed a a eyebrow lift (twice), a rhinoplasty and a neck procedure. I have little feeling on my skull, indentations throughput my skull, and hair that is now growing in a direction that doesn’t allow me to brush my hair due to the attempted eye brow lift. Additionally, Holcomb attempted twice to perform the eyebrow procedure and had zero success. My Rhinoplasty failed leaving me with a non symmetrical nose bending to the right. The neck procedure failed leaving me significant fat deposits on both side of the neck with a scar that pulls the neck to the left or right looking deformed. Additionally the scar is huge. After attempting to get a partial refund for three very failed procedures, Holcomb responded by having his Attorney send me a threatening email. I would certainly not recommend Holcomb for any of the above procedures

Run Do Not Walk away from Dr Holcolm and his staff! Read the reviews on the man. Look at his face! Look at all the filler in it! Read all the negative reviews about him. If you let him inject you with anything your Face Will Never be the Same! He will use products that cant be reduced and then he and his incompetent staff will tell you that you knew it could not be corrected. When you see the terrible result, and ask if theres anything he can do? This “ doctor” will say well we can out a steroid in but you might have a hole in your face. Pay attention to the bad reviews. I wished I had. In January 2018 I received multiple procedures at one time from Dr. John Holcomb. I received a jowl lift, a laser assisted neck lift, and laser resurfacing using the CO2 and Erbium laser procedures. Here it is August 2019 and my complexion is ruined. I have red blotchiness and white patches on my cheeks, jaw, and neck areas. I have scarring under my neck and along side one of my ears on the jaw line from the jowl lift where the sutures came apart and my skin had a one inch wide opening that took months to heal. I had laser on all of the scars again to try to correct the scarring, it helped but they are still very noticeable. I can't express how disappointed I am in the results from the procedures I had done. I'll admit I was impressed with the facility and the staff. It’s been a year and a half since I had my procedures by Dr. John Holcomb. I had laser resurfacing, upper and lower eye lid surgery, mini laser assisted face lift, and a neck lift. It has been quite an ordeal. My eye surgery had to be redone and my eyes are still tight, the suture marks and now veins are apparent under my eyes and have to be covered with make up. The sutures around one of my ears are very white and visible when I pull my hair back. The worse results of all is the procedure done on my neck . There is a big knot, and a scar which is huge and very crooked. Everything I had to have done after the surgery to correct the mistakes was very painful. To me his ways are very harsh, every injection I got for numbing hurt terribly. When I had a scar revision on my eyes and additional eye repair from original surgery the pain was so excruciating because they were not numbed enough, I like to have come out of my chair. Wonderful physician! Ive been seeing Dr. Holcomb for my injectables for a little over 3 years. He's always patient, kind and accurate. My results are always as they should be. The staff working there are AWESOME! Always kind, and courteous. I would highly recommend this practice!

I recently had a facelift, JPlasma and other facial procedures done. I’m very dissatisfied with the results of the facelift and JPlasma. The skin on my face is still very lax and I still have jowls . The JPlasma did nothing to tighten my skin as I was told it would do. I wasted a lot of money. Nobody even noticed that I had any surgery done.

Dr Holcomb fixed my earlobes after they got somewhat stretched into "pixie ears" some years after a facelift done elsewhere. The process is still ongoing, but I wanted to review now, because I can tell I am in good hands. Not only is he skillful, informative and knowledgeable... he is also very kind, gentle and responsive to my needs in terms of questions I ask, follow-up issues, etc. His staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to see him for other work in future.

I had upper and lower eyelid surgery. From the minute Dr. Holcomb entered into the office for the first consultation, he was confident, friendly and patience with all my questions. after I spoke to him, I was sure he was the right doctor. he, and his staff made my procedure smooth. Dr.Holcomb is a master facial plastic surgeon, who is double board certified. He is also kind, gentle and sensitive. A rare combination! His staff is superb. I had a lower facelift with local anesthesia. I literally had no pain or discomfort at all...not during or after the procedure. In fact I drove myself home and went for a long walk. I had some swelling and slight bruising, which disappeared within a few days. If you want a brilliant surgeon, you need not hesitate to call Dr. Holcomb.

Dr Holcomb is one of the worst plastic surgeons. He didn't do what he said he was going to do. He totally messed up my face. My face is a mess on the right side; I actually look older. I cannot believe what a terrible job he did. I can't even find a surgeon to fix the mess he made. I can't begin to tell you how many tears I have cried. Run from this doctor.

I am so very pleased with the outcome of my procedure's preformed by Dr. Holcomb. I must say without sounding slightly conceited that I look amazing. My friends say OMG!!!....WOW!!!....who is this Miracle Worker? They all tell me that I look 15 years younger.... The best part is that it looks so wonderfully natural. It has been just over 1 month and you cannot see any swelling or bruising...
