My father had this man as his nephrologist when he was admitted to West Marion. He is in stage 4 kidney failure and yet dr Nwakoby's office staff state that they did not need a follow up appt and that the " hospital always says follow up in 1-2 weeks they say that for a hang nail". office staff beligerant and rude when trying to explain situation to them, wouldn"t even let me finish a sentence and then gave me a 6 week away appt for a man who was stumbling around and passing out due to an electrolyte imbalance from the kidney failure. Thank god we found another nephrologist who took him in 2 days and now he is so much better. If I could give this office zero stars I would. During a very difficult and trying time, Dr. Nwakoby took care of my father. He was the most caring person. Always available and went out of his way to be there. My father was a very difficult case and needed extreme care and treatment. Highly recommend!

My husband talks so much about him. He is God sent.

If I could give Dr. Nwakoby 10 stars I would. He is the most compassionate, sweet, caring physician I have ever met. Extremely knowledgeable. He has been able to get a problem I have under total control, something none of my other physicians had the answer for. It was a simple fix and I am more than grateful.

Dr. Nwakoby and his nurse are the most caring medical professionals I have ever had a chance to meet. Their entire office is patient centered and willing to go the extra mile to help. Recently my family had a medical emergency and even though it was a holiday, the staff worked to see that their patient was safe, and receiving care. Dr. Nwakoby is very knowledgeable and has my highest recommendation.
