Doctor J did my bypass surgery. I received excellent care post op and he did a great job explaining all aspects of the surgery. He is extremely professional and has great bedside manners. Initially, I was nervous about the surgery but after it was explained to me by Doctor J my concerns were put at ease. The surgery was successful with no issues in recovery.

Excellent doctor, cares about his patients

My mom is in the worst condition of her life after her bypass surgery. She caught a bug in the chest wound that I believe is still alive. My sister and I never really got a difinitive answer on what it was. She was on IV for months. Did nothing, wound vac. Wound care. Her life was taken from her, I watched her lose all of her skills as far as taking care of herself in any way. She cannot cook, clean, shop, bathe herself or ever be left alone. I got no answers. It is the saddest thing I have suffered in my life. My mother has no memory, she repeats herself constantly she does not know the year, her own age and she cannot even use a remote control to turn on the TV. I know for a fact that she would never have gotten this surgery if she knew there was the slightest chance of this happening. I beleive Dr.Jacobowitz did an excellent job.My recovery period was ok.He is professional and compassionate. I would recommend him to any one who is a candidate for CABG surgery.

I had to have urgent OHS for a double bypass and valve replacement (I was 40 years old). Surgery was May 6, I wasn’t back at work may 31. The care I received, the attention was top notch. Dr Jacobowitz and his team were excellent!

My 80 year old dad slip and fell on 1-21-16 , we took him to the Emergency room at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. with all the x-ray and Cat scan showed no broken bones, however; blood test came back showed he had an heart attack and in need of a triple by-pass, due to his age,, other siblings are having reservation of major heart surgery because of the risk, but Dr. Jacobowitz assure us and his confidence changed our decision, today my dad is alive thanks to Dr. Jacobowitz.
