Ismail Salahi

My father had an appointment (made two weeks in advance) with Dr. Salahi to have a procedure done to relieve intense pain he has been experiencing. In order to have this procedure my father was required to stop taking his daily prescription blood-thinner medication for 7 days prior. This is a risky thing to do as he has atrial fibrillation and can throw a blood clot, however my father's cardiologist, in consultation with Salahi, approved the 7-day pause so that my father could have the procedure. Then, when my father arrives for his appointment Salahi suddenly tells him that he cannot do the procedure because it is too risky. When did it become too risky? That morning? Three days ago? A week ago? Why did he wait until my father's appointment, which was scheduled specifically for this procedure, to tell him? He had no coherent explanation. He also denied telling my father to stop taking his blood thinner for a week before the procedure. The man is a liar. Avoid him.

I have been with Dr.Salahi for over 25 years. He is a caring and compassionate man . He has guided me through many tough times. I am so much better and able to live a productive life. I can even play golf again. Don’t live with pain there are options without pills.

Dr. Salahi is awesome! He is so kind and helpful. I've never before met a doctor that would help you with anything! He and his staff deserve a 5 start review. I would reccomend him to anyone needing a doctor with his skills!

Felt very impersonal and seemed to be quick to push pills and not explain clearly. Something was just very uncomfortable with this Doctor.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, I went in to see Dr. Salahi for my back injury he was great. Great dr with an open minded view on my issue rather than just guessing.

Dr Salahi always puts his patient's best interest first. I am lucky to have him as my physician.

Always a professional team. Dr. Salahi always looks for the best way to solve the problem. Efficient and accurate. His staff is no less. Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Tina and Ms. Liz are always considerate and helpful. Top notch!

Dr. Salahi has always been so patient with me. If you are one of those who are truely in pain he will help! He is very knowledgeable of the medications and procedures that he preforms. I wouldn't want to go any place else.

I have been going to him for years and love him! If you are truely in pain he can help. I have had injections, surgery and medications from him. He is very knowledgable and very straight forward. If you are just looking for meds, don't bother as he is not that kind of doctor. He cares and truly wants to help. Would highly reccommend!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Salahi and his staff. I have been seeing him for about 15 years and he has always listened, cared and figured out a plan that would make my quality of life better. Dr. Salahi and his staff go above and beyond always......if you want a team that actually cares about you and your pain, this is where you want to be.

Have received care from Dr. Salahi for years and before him Doctor M. Hoffman for 8 years with NO ISSUES, until now with Dr. Salahi's office. One of the Office personnel S. T. continued to neglect an issue and wouldn't just admit that an important letter related to my prescriptions was not forwarded to the Doctor OR THAT the doctor forgot according to the prescription he wrote. I found out- 3 weeks after the letter arrived at his office. This office personnel, also stated in a conversation before hanging up-"Well, you shouldn't be taking that medication every night" ALTHOUGH thats how the DOCTOR has prescribed that medication, and is in writing on paper and is in print on the bottle. I was told she is not a medically qualified for this. She also tells you how a medication will or will not affect you ("It not going to change your life) Each prescription is prescribed for a REASON, to help your quality of life, or it shouldn't be prescribed and/or other alternatives should be discussed with your doctor before any changes are made, the right thing to do is make the patient aware and not forget about their health care. This could have been easily avoided. Just think about it, no problems all these years- and all of a sudden when they have made an error, they start hanging up and refusing to discuss the matter with you to resolve or discuss a plan to help assist their patient. I stated, I would come in so an adult conversation could be held on the issue and figure out the best health care options WITH MY DOCTOR- they refused. Beware, They will not go out of they're way for you. This office person has said, " Doctor said, it's not his problem". What doctor would say that! If they are in fault, or just made an innocent mistake, and you call them on it, they will not admit, they will unprofessionally even release you from their care. I will recommend Dr SALAHI to any person..He is very nice listen to all your problem concerning your pain and other health problem that you have..the people who work nurse and clerical they very nice and treating you with respect... Thanks Dr SALAHI..Luis Sánchez...

Very attentive, takes time to understand and makes suggestions. Non-judgmental, understands insurance regulations. Office runs in a timely manner.

Bad injection 4 times, should have checked outside USA for his medical school and ho1 many times he wrote FL board 3 times a charm fir Dr. Ismail Salahi... I should have realized he needed a EMG test for every injection. He only did one EMG test for one nerve root location in lumbar and injustice of several injection locations in thoracic. As I am Doctor of Engineering, I should have asked more questions.

I couldn't ask for a better pain management doctor! He really cares about my pain, and works with me. He always has a smile on his face, and really does want to help. I have never been to any doctor (primary care or other) who has impressed me like Dr Salahi. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone with chronic pain. After having 2 back surgeries, I walk into this office to be treated like a drug addict as soon as the nurse called me back. The nurse was very rude to me. After meeting the Dr. my suspicions went down.I was seeing the dr for several months when all of a sudden i was at my appt. on time and they called due to a tropical storm to cancel my appointment. I was sitting in the parking lot. I ask could i run in and get my scripts and was told "no". I wasn't happy due to the withdrawals I was gonna go through. They didn't care at all. My next visit the Dr was angry with me because i was rude to his nurse. He said he wasn't giving me meds unless he could give me an epidural, well i didnt have much choice. He put me on the table without nobody else in the room and jabbed the needle in my spine causingf me to lift off the table. He asked how that felt with a smirk on his face. I changed Dr's after that incident. My records were forwarded to the next Dr and was told I never had a clean urine. My urine is always clean due to working for the FAA.
