Dr, Staicu is a fine and friendly doctor and treats you as if you are family, She has been my doctor for about five years and I would have no other. Love her She is a real Super fine doctor hoot

I love Dr.Staicu. Explained to her I had a brain injury,and she was patient with me. She explained everything to me so I could understand. She's also very thorough in exam. Everyone there was very nice to me. I highly recommend.

Dr. Staicu is very reassuring and I like that she has female oriented knowledge about health.

I had a chemical stress test at Good Shepherd with this woman assigned by the hospital. She walked in, didn't talk to me at all and immediately started talking on the phone while starting the procedure without any warning. When I pleaded " Where is the doctor?" The nurse said "That's the doctor, over there, on the phone. " The chemicals, which had been administered with absolutely no warning, were making my heart race as they are supposed to. After the procedure Irina started briskly walking out of the room, still completely ignoring me. Gasping for breath, I said to the nurse " But she nevered even talked to me!" Irina actually sneered at me with a contemptuous look and continued on her way. She has the bedside manner of Atila the Hun. A very competent doctor who has performed 2 procedures on me. Very knowledgeable with a very positive, upbeat personality and wonderful sense of humor.

Amazing surgeon and physician. She put a pacemaker in my dad when he was 89. Zero complications. Hard to get get an appointment with but she is worth the wait.

Dr. Staicu has always made me feel very calm. Her thoroughness in answering all my questions is very appreciated. I never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend her to my family members and friends.

Dr. Staicu is amazing, knowledgable, and caring. I wasn't quite sure what was wrong with me initially, and she continued to search until she figured it out. Would recommend her to anyone!

I just love Dr. Staicu. I have seen other cardiologists but was not happy until I was seen by Dr. Staicu. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided me comfort. I was very worried about my heart condition but she gave me a clear explanation about my condition and the treatments I received were life saving. I would truly recommend her.

I don't know if she is a good doctor but the office is difficult to work with and her assistant Joan is rather unhelpful. They don't answer questions, do not return phone calls, and it took them over a month to submit my case to the insurance company. Also, they do not accommodate you with the appointments. I don't think they appreciate my business and would take it somewhere else.

I waited well over an hour for Dr. Staicu - I heard her outside my room door stating "I do not have time for this". An office employee asked if I would be ok seeing her associate, Dr. Kadakia. He was pleasant and helpful. I was there for a consult for a serious heart condition, so I expected them to have my test results - the doctor that referred me had faxed everything over - they were unprepared, which was concerning. Dr. Staicu is too busy, find someone that is interested in helping patients

Dr Staicu and her staff are true pros. I’ve been a patient for 2 years and I love seeing her. She has taken care of me and my family. God bless you Doc! Chris in Barrington

I’ve been seeing Dr Staicu since 2016 when I had triple bypass surgery. She is an incredible doctor who understands the nuances of treating patients with complex cardiovascular disease. Her staff is the best. Chris in Barrington

I am currently under the care of this physician and was honestly surprised to see the 1 star review. I have now seen Dr. Staicu for two separate procedures and she has been great. She walks you through the process and is easily available for questions after the procedure. She is also very easy to talk to and clearly has the patient's best interest at heart. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is because the reception staff is very short and can come off as rude. This woman literally saved my husbands life. His tests were all good. But she suggested one more because she just had a feeling. He had an angiogram and they kept him. He had to have open heart surgery. My husband had a "widowmaker." Scary...Google it up. Plus he was born with one less vein that feeds the heart. So to Doctor Irina Staicu I give the highest honor as a doctor and woman. She is no doubt, the best. As was our surgeon, who was given to us through her. We love her.

After waiting for an hour past the appointment I asked about the wait. The receptionist seemed bothered I interrupted her chat with a nurse. After a few minutes Dr Staicu came out to chastise my wife and I for complaining. She was having a hard day, we had no right to question her. The doctor went so far as to try to bring another couple into the conversation. That couple looked aghast and hurried out of the office. No concern about our concerns or reasons for being nervous about the wait.

Dr. Staicu was absolutely amazing. I had a chronic bleeding vericose vein in my leg that needed immediate attention. The office fit me in quickly and she spent time getting to know my family history and who I was as a person. She saw the stitches that a surgeon put in to keep me from bleeding and knew I needed quick attention. She rushed me in for a full ultrasound of my leg veins the very next day. She promised she would fight with my insurance until the end. She is Truly Amazing!

Very good bedside manner, took time with me, listened, changed medicine. I reallyliked her!!! Will follow thru with her.Did have a long wait in office though.
