Ok where do I even start, every single interaction was incredible! Amy helped me book my appointment and made me feel very comfortable right away! Then when I got to the office, Renee did my X-rays and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, checking in on me all throughout and made me feel right at home. Now here’s my favorite part, Dr. Matloff was able to treat a problem I’ve had with an incomplete root canal that has bothered me for years!! This was the 4th office and 6th doctor I went to for the same reason, no one could help me but him. Even having to go back in and have ANOTHER root canal done, I left laughing and feeling soo very relieved! He’s a miracle worker and I don’t think I’m over selling! I’m telling you I have never been treated so well, I truly left feeling like family. You can really trust these people, I strongly recommend!!

The office is nice, and the receptionist/other staff were great. Was told I needed a root canal by my dentist and needed an Endodontist. I was referred here specifically by my work and a co-worker, and walked out in tears. I had been told by two dentists my tooth could be saved by an Endodontist and Dr. Matloff examined it and said he wouldn't help me, and just kept telling me to get a second opinion but that he couldn't help me or do anything for me. He also provided no medication, antibiotics, or pain relief despite telling me he wouldn't fix the actual problem. Very bad experience, and I was very disappointed. No surprise, later that day I went to a same day emergency dental clinic who was able to perform the root canal and save the tooth. Dr. Matloff and his staff provided me with the best medical/dental experience I have ever had. I went home afterwards and told everyone how great this office is. Dr Matloff treated me with upmost kindness and gentleness. Dr. and his staff care so much for patients. His personality is one that makes him one of those doctors that you remember (in the best way). My experience at Dr. Matloff's office was beyond exceptional. Getting a root canal isn't fun but being in the delicate care of this team was about as perfect as it can get. I appreciated the explanation of what was going on and the sincerity and professionalism from everyone I met (especially Dr. Matloff, Renee, and Max). I am glad to have gotten a referral here. Still in the healing process, but I swear to you this was the easiest dental experience of my life, and it was a 24 hour turnaround no less... Called yesterday, in for an exam this morning, and by 1pm today,I left with a root canal. I can't believe that I'm actually excited about a root canal, but you can't believe how much pain I was in, and it was gone by the time I left. I felt very well cared for, and I'm grateful for everyone at the office. My root canal procedure with Dr. Matloff was completely pain-free and very relaxing. It was my first root canal and I didn't know what to expect, but it was surprisingly more tolerable than just about any cavity I've had filled. Matloff also has a great bedside manner. Their receptionist, Max, was also kind and very helpful!

I could not be more grateful to Dr. Matloff and his Rockstar team for giving me such superlative care today! I was in a good amount of discomfort from a dislodged filling and the office was able to accommodate a same day appointment. Dr. Matloff confirmed that a root canal was needed and it could not have been a more pleasant and pain-free procedure! If you are looking for a professional, gentle, highly skilled endodontist with 40+ years of experience under his belt, Dr. Matloff is your man. And, I really appreciate their cash discount for those of us who do not have Dental Insurance.

Dr Matloff told me straight out that he was not sure he could save my tooth, and it might have to be pulled. He said on a scale of 1-10, my problem was a 13! He said he wanted to try to save it. I have had a mouthful of dental work over my lifetime...I inherited bad teeth...I have always made my teeth have always been a priority, because I feel nice looking teeth are so important to your self esteem as well as critical to overall health. Therefore I decided I wanted to proceed. I won't say it was easy, and I know Dr Matloff would agree, but after 2.5 hours I still have my tooth...and a tee that says "I survived a root canal". Although I was going in for a root canal (first one), I had a great experience. Dr Matloff explained the process to me very clearly and really put me at ease. I thought it was going to be super painful but the process felt like a longer version of getting a cavity filled. I was in a little pains a couple days after but that is to be expected when getting a root canal done. All and all I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get any dental work done. Dr. Matloff is the best!! He knows what he is doing, I've had 4 root canals by him and he has never hurt me. Great bedside matter. Easy going and professional. Max and staff are very friendy! Leave with a tee shirt or coffee cup!

I visited Dr. Matloff's office a few months ago. Haven't had any issues ever since my root canal was taken care of. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep twice throughout the procedure. For years, I've heard nightmare stories about root canals — they're too painful, you'll feel everything, etc. But after having my procedure done at Dr. Matloff's office, I feel as if the stereotype about root canals is misdirected. There are no painful root canals — only endodontists who don't perform them well. Dr. Matloff is a pro. I didn't feel a thing, there was classical music playing throughout the whole procedure, and I even got a coffee mug out of the bargain. Another thing about him: he's realistic about the outcome of the procedure. Before we started, he said he wasn't sure the procedure would save my tooth because my braces were holding the tooth in place and preventing him from seeing how unstable it was. Dr. Matloff did an amazing job on my root canal. He was thorough and got the job done. We all know that root canals aren’t the best thing in the world but he made it go by quickly and little recovery time. I am so happy he did it.

The only dental place I have ever felt comfortable in. I would rather have a root canal then see a regular dentist for anything! Everyone at this office is pleasant and accommodating.

I would not go anywhere else, Dr. Matloff and his associates are professional and accommodating! I am so happy I was able to find Dr. Matloff! By far the best dentistry work I’ve had done and no pain at all.

ROOT CANAL - scary procedure for many so, when looking... what's important? Confidence and trust. I always do my research before any important procedure. I found both with Dr. Matloff. There are many dentists that do root canals but it's an important procedure and should be done by someone trained and who specializes in it. Look at their education - how much and where; Their years in practice; Their use of updated knowledge and technology. What about their practice - how long has their staff been with them? Do they have enough staff to really serve their patients... or is the dentist doing all the work to save money? And even, what's their community involvement? Do they give back and help out? In other words... what kind of person are they? If you really want the best from someone that cares about your dental health, cares about giving you the treatment you need, that's Dr. Matloff. If Dr. Matloff was in general dentistry I'd go to him all the time, but for endodontics.... he should be your choice for perfect treatments when it counts most....when you're suffering, in pain or seeking options. I always check a doctor's education, time in practice, background, community service and reviews - and if you do this for Dr Matloff.... you'll find none better. Very good at root canals but DO NOT ASK Dr. Matloff for a dentist referral. He sent me to a dishonest dentist who gave me the ugliest crowns ever and repeatedly lied to me!!! Well, I was chewing ice & broke my tooth. Dr Matloff told me that he could do a root canal and save my tooth. I am terrified of Root Canals, but I fell asleep during it & had no pain later.

I just had a root canal done on #3 by Dr. Matloff and his team, it was broken and cracked and rotted from years of decay, he gave a guarded prognosis but went to work to try to save my neglected tooth. He worked his amazing skills and was successfully able to save my tooth with a root canal. The whole procedure was 2 hours and I was totally chill in the chair after a while, hes very attentive and caring and made sure I was in NO PAIN!! I walked out very grateful and smiling!!! My appointment ran late because he takes the time with each patient to make sure it's done right. He explained & appologized. When he was done I could care less about running behind because I knew he gave me the some time & attention he gave the other patient. BEST ENDODONTIST. Dr Matloff has performed 9 root canals on me over the years. I can honestly say I have NOT experienced any pain afterwards and never needed any pain meds. My general dentists has always noted what EXCELLENT work was performed and that he never worries about referring root canal procedures to Dr Matloff.

I highly recommend Dr Matloff ! I have had 3 root canals done. Each time, he and his entire staff were caring, gentle and kind. As a matter of fact, I was so relaxed ( and numb) during the procedure , that I fell asleep! They had to place a bite block so they could finish ! I was referred. For my first root canal it was more pleasant than I thought it would be. It was quick, thorough and resulted in the least dental pain I've ever had. I was fully relaxed and almost fell asleep. I'm very satisfied. Dr. Matloff was professional and nice as well as his staff, so, I would highly recommend.

I was terrified knowing I needed a root canal. Needlessly so as it turned out! Dr. Matloff was awesome! They even provided headphones to listen to music to drown out the sound of the drill. As far as a dental experience can go, this was amazing! I highly recommend him.They even have a beautiful aquarium in the waiting room, so if someone is waiting for you, they have a pleasant atmosphere.
