I called to make an appointment and was told they needed to confirm my insurance so they would call me back which is fine but I never got a call back and it's been a week. Professional and personable staff- Doctor that really takes the time to listen to your concerns- would recommend.

Been a patient of this office for over 12 years. While I have had ups and downs with staff and Dr, this month I had enough. Had seen dr in March for a referral and gave me a list of drs to call. With everything going on it took me a while to find a dr to take my insurance. I called back to have the referral sent over. They advised me they had no record of the visit and I would have to be seen. Went home and reviewed my office vist print out and sure enough the dr had given me an approval March 10 2020. If you don't mind spending extra money for the same thing this office a perfect fit. if you want an office that cares about you and puts patient care first i would stay away. I put in a call on last week about this matter left a voicemail almost a week later no response.. Update. Still no response.

I've been a patient of Dr. VanNoy's for a number of years and I can say that she is the most capable and no nonsense Doctor I have. I'm a cancer survivor and I have many doctors however, Dr. VanNoy has been my constant. I need a doctor who is going to tell it like it is, and that is Dr. VanNoy. I thank God for her and for the fact that she's willing to go the extra mile. And I don't want to leave out Rachel, she is one of a kind! I'm a hard stick and I'm truly afraid to needles however, Rachel gets it everytime. I have to drive 2 hrs to get there but I'm not changing my doctor. I have been coming to Dr. Vannoy forever. She is very straight forward with me about things I need to do and I appreciate that. I moved but still continue to see her even though it’s a longer drive. Her staff have always been very nice and I especially like that they send reminders (text and phone calls) for appointments since I am so forgetful. They stagger the appointments so there are not more than 2 people in the waiting area. I have had phone consultations when an in office visit was not necessary. I am very happy with her practice. Go Somewhere else. I want to first say that the staff at this practice are very kind and do their jobs well... The Dr. on the other hand..... See below.... I moved to Atlanta almost a year ago. My Doctor in Asheville, NC wrote me out prescription refills to last a year before I left. In all the chaos of my current job and the holidays my prescription expired and I didn’t even realize it. I ran out of pill while in the process of finding a Doctor and ended up having I called everywhere and finally found a Doctor that could get me into an appointment. Thursday Morning at 7:55 I arrived for my appointment. The office is in an old house and it looks abandoned from the parking lot. There is no clear sign showing what door to enter the building, the bushes are not trimmed. Let me go ahead and say that I have white coat syndrome and its real. Once I get to know the Doctor I'm usually ok. I went inside to check in and the nurse came to get me from the lobby. We went into a small room with a beat-up old chair where they do blood testing, they take blood. There were test tubes and supplies stacked all over the room. She asked me what prescriptions I was taking I listed two, she interrupted me and never let me finish. I told her that I take 20mg of Lexapro, 30 of Lisinopril (she told me that a 30 mg dose of Lisinopril did not exist, but it DOES and acted like I was lying about all of it.” Then she talked over me and went on to ask if I ever exercised. I told her that I walk 30 minutes every day and that we have a gym in our basement. She leans back in her chair and looked at me like I was crazy and said “YOU walk 30 minutes a day?!?” I said yes I do! (I was so aggravated at the way she was treating me at this point I almost walked out.) I mentioned Contrave and she Barked at me basically she said – “I don’t do that” Then I asked her if she would do 90 day prescriptions. She barely let me finish cutting me off and said "I don’t do that” I said well I am here for the appointment to day and to get a medicine refill from a better doctor. She also said that she required her patients to come in every three months instead of six....I can understand this if you are starting a new medicine or something but its ridiculous otherwise. It just seems like she is trying to squeeze all the money she can out of her patients and they are getting nothing but rudeness in return. What doctor doesn't listen to their patients... this one. What kind of Doctor treats people this way - a bad one. Dr. VanNoy - You need to learn how to treat your patients. You are horrible. You traumatized me when I was already at my low, I needed help and you wouldn't listen. You should seriously retire soon and quit treating people like this. Go Somewhere else. Dr. VanNoy was very direct but kind about the information I needed to know. She tells it to you straight with no curveballs about your health and the information you need to know to improve yourself. Dr. VanNoy knows what she is talking about! Also the staff here is very very sweet and gentle with you. I have small veins and the nurse treating me took the time to check for a vein that would work so she wouldn’t be poking at me. Amazing! Staff was friendly, but Dr. VanNoy was not. Very stuck on outdated science and unwilling to be questioned. I’m a bodybuilder, and she told me I was obese according to my BMI and needed to lose ten pounds. I’m 12% body fat. After measuring my waist and not having it meet her argument, she stated, “You can have low body fat and still be obese.” A medical doctor said this. One of the most surreal experiences I’ve had with a doctor. I selected her because of the limited options I had with my insurance, but I’m definitely finding someone else. I was recently recommended to Dr. Vannnoy by a family friend. On my first visit I was very impressed by the friendly staff. Once i met with Dr. Vannoy i was further impressed by how personable and attentive she was. I have been looking for a Dr's office where i did not feel like a number and Dr. Vannoy did not disappoint. She took her time to answer all of my questions and listen carefully to my concerns. Even upon my second visit back she still remembered me and made sure to answer any questions that I had. Dr. VanNoy was the first Dr. I met 2 years ago when I moved to Marietta Ga. from Philadelphia. Dr. VanNoy ranks a 10 in my book. Her approach is Direct and Deliberate. She has taught me how to put me first by putting my Health first. For the first time I'm losing weight slowly yet steadily. I love and Respect this Lady God led me to her. My husband had his yearly physical exam today with Dr. Imani and when he began asking questions about some health concerns he had, her answer was " You need to make another appointment for that, this is a physical exam and you are not paying anything, your insurance is" I got very up-set when my husband told me that. We do have very good insurance and I'm absolutely sure she is getting pay very well for that appointment. I think she is very unprofessional and rude. Definitely changing doctor. I went to Dr. Vannoy years ago and liked her. I was seeing a wonderful doctor about an hour from my home for the last 8 years. She retired and I saw another physician at this practice. I decided it was no longer worth driving an hour so I returned to see Dr. Vannoy who is just a few miles from my home. I explained when I made an appointment that the last doctor I saw just did a full panel and everything was good but thyroid so I scheduled to have my thyroid rechecked. I once again told the nurse and lady taking my blood that I had a full panel done 21 days prior. They told me that that was fine and had me sign releases to get medical records and labs from other doctor. I get a bill for $733 from Quest. Dr. Vannoy’s office ordered a full panel again! I called several times and dropped off an invoice. I just called and was told sorry but there’s nothing we can do. I now owe $733 for tests that were unnecessary and repeated that we’re done just 21 days prior. I’m beyond sick and disappointed. I feel like I was robbed. Dr. VanNoy is the real deal. She’s one of the best doctors I’ve encountered in Atlanta. She’s very thorough with each patient. She takes her time with new patients to create a ambience of professionalism and friendliness in her office. She wants to make it feel like a small family. I had the absolute worst experience with her and her clinic. She is focused on getting paid and is utterly disrespectful when talking to patients. I was hesitant on going to her before because I had seen reviews with these same issues and now I can confirm them. Her and her staff are very disorganized and made many mistakes that would have gone unnoticed if I didn't point them out or asked questions. I will NOT be coming back her and would strongly discrouage others as well. Don't waste you time

This doctor is more interested in collecting money or referring to other doctors to collect more fees. Trying to get in last minute is not a priority even if you feel like you are unable to sit or speek. What is the point in having a family doctor if they give priority to people who have made an appointment over patients who have seen the doctor on numerous occasions?
