Ms. Ileana Calinoiu

Dr. Calinoiu's patients lost a lot a great Psychiatrist when she left her practice so suddenly. Many I'm sure were left dumbfounded and it certainly isn't ever any fun to have to suddenly scramble to find alternate care. But I guarantee nobody rating her negatively here would have traded places with her. I personally am grateful for everything she did for me and I hope others will view her hasty exit with the same compassion she always gave so freely to all of us. She certainly deserves it.

Dr. Calinoiu is an excellent psychiatrist. She is a brilliant, compassionate diagnostician, delving into causes and conditions and finding appropriate medical and behavioral solutions. She was a five-star clinician in my book until she abandoned me, a serious breach of a therapeutic relationship. When I needed an appointment to get my medication refilled, she never responded. I sent several emails and left phone messages yet heard nothing from her. Very disappointing.

Dr. Calinoiu apparently quit private practice without notifying her patients or responding to my attempts to reach her when my medication ran out. I attempted calling her office and emergency line and emailing multiple times, to no avail. She abandoned her patients.
