Started seeing Dr. Matwijw soon after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and my regular Dr was trying so many different treatments I was frustrated but Dr. Matt fixed me right up and we have it under control and I have more confidence in my ability to control it.

this dr took time to make me feel comfortable and gave me great advice ill assure you i will go again

Just because he is the closest endocrinologist does not mean he is the best. If you actually want help you’ll have better luck going farther out. Seriously.

I’ve been a diabetic for 20 years. This is the first time I can’t get anyone to refill my insulin prescription. Not like this is a “take when you want to medicine” I need it to survive, but him and his staff do not seem to care.

Besr doctor period. He lstens to the patient wish i had done what he had requezted. I know it would have prevented my2019 ischemic strojke.

Initially I was pleased with the Dr. he saw me very briefly no big deal because he wanted to run some test and then see me back. Got lab and Imaging done. Call for results about a week later got lab results but not imaging the nurse said it was to soon to check back in a week or so. I actually waited about a month called she acted like it wasn't ready yet I ask well it's been over a month and the imaging center said it would be sent right over. So she said I will need to call you back I waited a couple of days no call I called back she said again I will call you back nothing, I called again had to leave a message no call to this day or any message from them. It has been 3 months finely got my primary dr to call the image center got results in a few hours. This may not be his fault but if that's the way the clinic is run not sure if I trust them with my health. Good visit ! Great doctor.

Been going to Dr Matt for years with great care and recommendations for improved health. He has me on the Dexcom G6 CGM and lowered my A1C from 12 to 7 !!

Love dr Matt, he’s blunt and to the point. Doesn’t sugar coat anything, tells you what you need to do for your health and figures out ways to help you. Love all of his staff also

Couldn't ask for a better Doctor , Nurses or Staff ! Seen in a timely manner. All questions about my condition are specifically addressed and options explained. Great communication with my Primary to ensure everyone is on the same page concerning my condition, treatment and medications.

his office staff are all very kind, professional and accommodating. I sincerely trust Dr. Matt. I see no need to go out of town to see another dr. to treat me for diabetes and metabolism . Love his socks !!!!!

Tries to work with YOU to come up with the best treatment. Explains what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and what it takes to get there. By the way the two ladies at the front desk are super. I just love them! They make things easy for people like me.

I tried explaining some symptoms and issues I had. He cut me off during the beginning of my explanation and told me his opinion. He wouldn't even let me finish and seemed like he was pushing me out the door because he was running an hour behind. I was extremely displeased this time. I will find another doctor.

Dr.Matt has no bed side manner he talks at you and not to you. Went for him for help and left with nothing but a bunch of insults about my primary doctors. Waste of my time and money!

Use to like going here. Am currently on oxygen and wait time of 1 hour while blowing thur two small bottles of my oxygen is not fine.Appointnents were done within 15 minutes of your time, front stuff weren't great but did ok. Dr. Matt seemed to pay attention and spent time with you talked about your condition. Started out seeing him for osteoporosis about 2 years ago and due to medical issues am now seeing him as type two diabetic. It is now never brought up about my osteoporosis, and even though I get an injection for my osteoporosis no mention of it as even made this visit. We told her see me in six months nd nothing w even discussed. Use to like going here. Love my thyroid Dr. The whole staff makes me feel like family. Im so glad to be apart of a great office. I would tell all my friends who are having issues with their thyroid to go see Dr Mat.

Absolutely no bedside manners. Talks above you not with you. Doesn't read your chart before coming in and spitting all over you. (Figure of speech) It's very unfortunate that he's the only endocrinologist in the area. His nurse is very nice. He doesn't deserve someone like her. I wouldn't even give a star. Not deserving of that.

Has treated me for Graves Disease for years.Very informative,professional and is up to date on treatments for endocrinology. Great staff too!! They are very friendly,no issues getting an appointment.

Dr. Matwijiw and staff was very nice. Dr.Matwijiw took time to explain hyopthyord /hashimoto to me.

DR MATT IS A GREAT DR.HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS TO YA AND HE IS A HUMOROUS PERSON TOO HE WILL JOKE AND CARRY ON WITH YA TOO BUT HE IS VERY SERIOUS IN MY BOOK IN TREATING YOU FOR WHATEVER ALES YOU MY WIFE AND I BOTH GO TO HIM HE'S BEEN GREAT DR. FOR US HE TREATS US LIKE WE WERE FAMILY

Dr. Mat and staff are awesome, he diagnosed my problem immediately set wheels in motion to take care if my problem. He's the best endocrinologist in Texarkana.

The doctor was great the receptionist was a very rude woman and wouldn't even let me tell her what I needed before constantly cutting me off. I was told to bring in disc on the phonne for copies to be made and drove a 60 mile round trip and was told they don't accept disc.
